Alright, I got this from a good friend of mine known as Bolado on GO. And this wasn't even his Tutorial. This is how you make a Blurry Sig using PhotoShop. Who knows, you may even be able to use this with GIMP, so pay attention!

Today, I'll be working on the Render I used for the SOTW on BleachRPF.

#1--First, Like always, let's start with a Blank Sig. And color it in BLACK

It can also be White depending on what type of Render.

#2--Second, We will Apply the Render, by Changing the Image Size by going to Edit>Image Size, and then adjusting to whatever you like. For me, I made it 200. Then, I posted it on the Sig as you see.

#3--Next, I copied the Render many Times, and made the First Layer with the original Render on it, invisble(click the Eye looking Icon Next to the layer). This way it won't mess with your work. Then, I moved the copies over to the Side. Like so.

#4--Finally, go to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur and set them to this: 45~50. Which would make your Copied Render look like this at the bottom. Apply it to all of the Copied Renders. Make sure to keep copying the renders until the Sig is full, or until you want it how you wish it to be.

#5--Lastly, if you wish to be Lazy, I suggest making your Original Render Visible, and Moving the Layer with the Original to the Top, so you can see it. Then add Some Text or whatever. Loks something like this.

Advanced Tools and Skills

#6--Make your Render Invisible again, and keep it at it's position. Next, we will work with Filters again by going to: Filter>Distort>Ripple. Then, set it to these options: 246% and Medium. Makes it looks like this.

Note*Make sure to duplicate the blurred part first on a New Layer!

#7--Now, you could use any brushes. For this, I used some Maple Leaf brushes that I THINK come with PhotoShop CS2. Brush it over the Sig like this. But, if you started with a Black background, use White brushes as I did. With a White brushes, I suggest using Black brushes.

And then you Blur it with the same Options as last time.

#8--But, if you want to get creative, you could create A New Layer by clicking Shift+Ctrl+N, and set the Layer Mode to Overlay. Then put that Layer on top of the Seconded Blurred Layer.(Make sure it isn't on top of your Invisible Render Layer) Brush it with the same brushes. Then, use the last Step.(Make sure to do this before the other one, for "Effects")

#9--Lastly, Blur the Leaves that were ontop, and then the ones on bottom. Looking Like this:

#10- Finally, make the Render visible, and add some text. Or you could be like me and Play around with it using Blending Options.

Good Tut. I'll convert this to GIMP in 1 sec so GIMPers can use it too. (I'll edit in the GIMP verson in this post)

BTW, if you know GIMP well this is VERY easy to do with GIMP. So if you listen to Zeke you will be ok until I post a GIMP conversion.

GIMP Version:

BEWARE UNDERCONSTRUCTION. I AM STILL WORKING ON IT. SO SHUSH!

Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No." They had a choice, all of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of good men like my father or President Truman. Decent men who believed in a day's work for a day's pay. Instead they followed the droppings of lechers and communists and didn't realize that the trail led over a precipice until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice. Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloodly Hell, all those liberals and intellectuals and smooth-talkers... and all of a sudden nobody can't think of anything to say.
