Rukia is standing outside of Iwakagure in a simple skirt and t-shirt combo clutching Sode no Shirayuki. She shivers a little bit, Ah come on, it's not even that cold out here. I should try the inner world. Well if Iwasn't already automatically comfortable in here. "Yea, whatever." she's sitting down on a hill overlooking the village. There really wasn't a reason for her to be out here, she was merely enjoying the night and gathering her thoughts. She doesn't even notice the man behind her until he speaks up. He's dressed in monk's clothing, with a silver robe tied at his waist. He has a pair of shades in one hand and a gray robe slung across his shoulder.

"Pardon me, but you shouldn't have your guard done even near the village." he says. Rukia closes her eyes and is silent for a few seconds, before turning to him. "I knew you where there, I had no reason to worry. I'm still within village borders." That, and Shirayuki knew he was there. "Indeed you must be Rukia Kuchiki, your zanpukuto was probally the one who sensed my presence as well. Shirayuki her name is?" Rukia stands up and stares directly at him, "Clearly you know a bit about me, but what about you? What is the meaning you approaching me anyways?", for now Rukia keeps a calm body posture. The young man chuckles, "What, I'm an Iwakagure shinobi as well. I came from a monastary to help strengthen the new village. Relax," he gives her a look that tells her he knows she's in a combative mindset. "Dharma-sama sure knows how to pick them."

"Dharma-sama? You're in this 'Team Silver' group?" she asks, relaxing the hand her zanpukuto was in. When she had visited Konoha for a tournament a few weeks ago, she was approached by a kunoichi named Dharma. She had a interesting organization and Rukia had agreed to join as long as it doesn't have her going against her village or the Soul Society. "Indeed, but where are my manners?" he bows, "I'm Chris Chairo, one of the original Seven. I'm here with your membership items. One set of TS Shades and the robe variation to the trench coat. Sorry it took so long. Also I'm here to ask if you'd assist me in an important mission." Rukia nods, and suspiciously looks towards the hill behind them. "The hills have eyes, follow me." "Actually you're my subordinate, and danger may result in us using your house. Therefore follow me to my house. Besides, I have a thing about entering people's houses when I don't know them well."

She nods, "Lead the way then." As the two walk back into town, Shirayuki speaks to Rukia. You're being really trustworthy to this stranger. Not many people know what Team Silver is. Beside I can defend myself. Add that to the fact of if he does attack me, he's a crimminal and I just have to get away. I have a good feeling about this anyways. Of course I do, I was just testing me. Rukia shakes her head, around the time Chris stops at a house. "Welcome to my humble abode." he removes when he enters, and Rukia follows suit. It was a traditional style house, though not as big as the usually are.

"Excuse me," he says, pointing to a table in a room further in the house. "I'll be with you shortly." he bows and goes into another room. Rukia sits down at the table, resting Sode no Shirayuki on her lap. He comes back a few minutes later with some tea and pastries. "I apologize if this is rude, but if you're a monk why are you living in such a house?" Chris gives a wide grin while setting the tray down then taking a set on the side opposite her. "Well I don't live as strictly as other monks. I still perfer simple things though. The organization's founder insisted form me to live here, saying he needed someone to watch his vacation home. He knew I won't except it as a present, and he has visited since the opening of this village." "This Narda seems to be an interesting man, if somewhat weird. One day I hope to personally meet him." Chris hands her some tea and she accepts it. "So, what is this mission you spoke of earlier?"

The young man takes a sip of tea and bite of pastry before responding, "There may be a cult that is stationed somewhere relatively close to Iwagukure. This information came from Dharma-sama herself, but I got permission from the Kage to check it out. If you decide to come with me, we'll leave tommorow just before noon. Sorry for short notice, this came together rather fast." "If it's village allowed, I'd love to. Are we the only two?" "Yes, it's only a scouting mission. We don't need a lot of people." The two went over the few details the mission had and Rukia leaves after about an hour. He gives her the shades and robe before seeing her out. Rukia bows "Bye, I'll see you tommorow." "Have a good night's rest.".

The next day, Rukia spent the morning practicing abit after breakfast. This was the first mission she had as a member of Team Silver. She had her team robe on over her shinigami uniform, with her headband tied to her left arm. She wonders for a moment if she'd ever have caption's badge to wear. Of course I will. I should rest before the mission. Relax while I can. It's kinda funny, this Silver Robe is like a captain's jacket. Rukia chuckles Good point. And I suppose it is. She spends the rest of her time before the mission writing her monthly letter to Byakuya. Rukia sighs deeply as she seals the letter, "Hope he actually reads this." She leaves the letter on the table and heads for the spot she met Chris at the night before. She grabs a backpack before exiting her home.

He's sitting on the hill cross legged, eyes closed as he appears to be meditating. When Rukia moves closer to him he nods and opens his eyes. "Excellent, your right on time." He grabs his own bag, "Let's us go, and try to be as stealthy a possible. Especially at night." Rukia nods, making sure her bag and zanpukuto are both firmly secured to her. The two walk in silence for a while, until Rukia decides to say something. "So, how is it like being a monk? Is your martials training that different from a ninja's?" He looks back at her, "Well, generally speaking my training is more focused than an average shinobi. We tend to train more at the monastary. Also, shinobi may be more flexible with their skill sets but monks are more specialized with our training. Take this," he hands her a hands free radio. Rukia takes it and hooks it to her collar. The headset has a clip that goes behind the ear, so a headband isn't needed to hold it in place. "Yea, this is less obvious than hell butterflys." Chris tells her that they would maintian radio silence, until he told her otherwise.

They continued with light conversation, and walked until night time. "Alright, it's time for major stealth from here on out." Rukia is about to say yes, but nods instead. They land quietly, leaving the trees they had been running in. With Chris in the lead, they quietly make their way through the forest. Rukia thinks she hears something, and this is confirmed when he gives her the halt signal. She stops a few feet behind him, unable to see what he's looking at. The two hear some quiet voices talking, then more rustling. He motions her to come beside him. When she does, she sees two female twins. They look a few years younger than Rukia, and looked like shinobi without the headbands. They had cloaks on, but they were open in such a way the show off the ninja tools the two have. Thier hair is up in pigtails, and have a yellow third eye that opens vertically. She turns to Chris and points at her headband, then makes an 'x' with her fingers. He nods, understanding her suggestion that they are missing nin.

One of the twins starts looking around nervously, her pigtails flying slightly to the direction opposite she looks in. The other one pulls on her shoulder, the paranoid looking one nods and they continue walking. Their current direct was to Rukia and Chris' left, so the didn't have to worry about being discovered on accident. Chris slips on his shades, and makes a few single handed seals. After observing the two for a few seconds, he leans over to Rukia's ear. "Their chakra is pretty high, too bad I have no way to measure there combat ability. If these are even the right people." She leans over to him, " Well looks can decieve, but look at them. They look cultish." They quietly follow the two. It's kinda odd, they don't look like they are really trying to go anywhere. Yea, almost like... That's it possibly. She gently tugs on her companion's sleeve. "Those two are merely patrolling. There's probally a camp or base somewhere around her." she whispers to him. "Indeed, we should watch our backs while tracing their steps back."

They carefully make their way the direction they saw them come from originally, while looking over their shoulders every so often. They soon reach a small camp, which is next to the small entrance of a cave. There are large tents, as if their owners where planning on being there for a while. Chris, already having removed his shades earlier, brings out some binoculars. "It's a rather small establishment. I see few people. Let's just observe for now." he says, handing her a set of binocular's from his bag. I should've thought of that myself. She thinks, looking the camp over. A group of cloaked figures, with their hoods down, exit the cave with a couple of boxes. Putting these down, half of them reenter the cave.

One looks towards there direction, which cause Rukia to tense up a bit. He just stares into empty space and then turns as the others exit the cave. He looks at them and waves them off. After they get a certian distance from the cave he makes a one handed seal and utters something. The cave rocks, apparently from explosives being set in it. "Explosive notes, no doubt. Wonder what they are up to for them to be covering their tracks." he whispers. "That's for us to known," "And for you to die over." two voices answered from behind them. Rukia and Chris turn around, to see the twins from earlier standing there with fans in hand opposite of one another. "I told you there was something out here beside us and some animals." "Seems your jumpy paranoia was right this time. Daikamaitachi no Jutsu!" she says suddenly, swinging her fan to lauch the attack. Rukia uses Shunpo dodge to the side, and Chris uses a fancy somersault technique.

Talking seem out of the question, I'll get 'em! Hoping they'd permit her to summon her weapon, Rukia's blade glows white. "Sode no Shirayuki." Her display was unusual enough for them to not attack while she released her weapon. "That's beautiful. Haaa!" Chris takes a combat stance, gathering his chi in on breath. The man that had activated the explosive steps out into the opening, "Need any help with the intruders?" "No, go on according to plan." "The great Gemini Twins will take care of these nosy Iwa nin." The man adjusts his glasses and walks back into the camp. The one with the fan that now seems to have some green on it swings once again. A large blast levels the area, but the two from Iwa jump high into the air. "Cancel that silence, we may have to split them up." "Understood," she agrees as they land. She aims a palm at the one who has been attacking so far and launchs a red missile at her. "Please," she scoffs, knocking the projectile to the side with her fan. "Just stand still so we can kill you without wasting energy. A powerful blue burst of energy come flying from Chris' palms. The one who was talking was distracted, so her sister deflects the blast. It's strong, knocking her off her feet.

"Sissy!" she looks at her sister get up and dust herself off. "That was pretty strong, I've underestimated you. It was by a very small amount though. Raikyu." she launchs a ball of lightning at Chris, who easily dodges. "Baka," she swings the fan towards her chest. The ball turns around and strikes the young monk in the back. Rukia looks at Chris momentarily, Worry about myself, theres two of them you know. Just as Shirayuki warned her, she see a small tornado heading towards her. She moves out of the way, intending to dodge but realizing the funnel could probally be controlled as well. She jumps into a tree and starts hopping from tree to tree. "Shorty catches on quickly. But I'm still a step ahead." Rukia stops, the wind using twin being right in front of her. Without hesitating, she launchs Daikamaitachi no Jutsu at Rukia. Caught by surprise, she try moving out the way. The vortex behind her strikes, knocking her into the wind blades. The girl giggles at the blades slice through her.

She sends another wave of Daikamaitachi out, but the only find purchase in the bark of a log. Good thing I wore my Silver Robe, Rukia says, checking her cuts. "Don't make me come looking for you, shorty. If it wasn't for my orders to keep a low profile I'd cut down this forest and you along with it." Rukia comes from around the tree, pointing Sode no Shirayuki right at her. "That was indeed a pretty transformation, but if that blade can do anything productive I'd advise you do it soon." she swings again, releasing another small tornado at Rukia. Shunpoing to avoid it, she jabs her blade at the young kunoichi. The weapon's tip is stopped by an open fan. The tornado comes at her, but she flips over it's controller's shoulders. "Some no Mai," she swings her blade in midair, "Tsukishiro." The funnel disappears, the twin being suprising at her feet being frozen. "No matter," she uses the wind from her fan to shatter the ice. As she jumps up, the circle of ice turns into a pillar, freezing her within it.

As the column of ice shatters, Rukia heads back towards Chris and the other girl. "Baka," the girl appears beside her, "Replacement, jah. But let's see what our friends are up too," she runs ahead. What is she up too? Not telling, but I know she's playing with me. She could've gotten the drop on me just then. Being obvious here but, proceed with caution. Of course, but this needs to finish soon so I can tend these cuts. When the two get to their respective companions, they see Chris has closed in on his opponent. Though she obviously wasn't particularly good at melee ranged combat she was holding her own. Catching a minature whirlwind coming at him out of the corner of his eye, he backflips out the way. Taking advantage the twin he was fighting appears in a tree. The other one lands near her. The wind one performs what seems to be her favorite jutsu, Daikamaitachi. The other one just stands there and observes the reaction of the two Iwa nin. Chris uses his training to dodge each individual blade that comes at him while Rukia dodges clusters of them. Seeing an opening in both of the shinobi, the waiting twin snaps her fan shut and points it. A lightning bolt shots from it and she controls it's path to hit both of them.

Rukia deflects some of it with her sword (covered in chakra), and it hits Chris dead on. He shakes it off, him being attuned to earth it didn't do much damage to him. "Fine then dodge all this," she spins her fan between her fingers, bring her arm back. "Haien!" Rukia tries striking down the wind one with her nearly instanteous kidou. The lightning one moves to intercept, but Chris appears right in front of her, punching her square in the jaw and following it up with a powerful roundhouse kick (tatsumakishippukyaku actually). That twin goes flying, the other one falls out of the tree on fire. Chris lands where they were standing, and gathers chakra and surrounding energy in his hands. Meanwhile, Rukia is making four carefully placed incisions in the ground. "Tsugi no Mai. Hakuren." the large volume of snow saves the girl from burning to death, her rolling around on the ground wasn't helping much. However, she was knocked senseless.

Narrowly avoiding Chris' Hadouken, the other moves to the side. She uses a speed technique to appear next to her sister. "You've won this match, but next time you won't be so lucky. As she spoke, a beam of light engulfs the two and they disappear. Chris turns to look at Rukia below, "They were holding back, maybe testing us." "Most likely, the didn't have orders to kill. They just made sure their 'precious cargo' got a reasonable distance from us. Chris nods and looks towards the camp. "Well, let's still look over the camp. Hopefully they left something behind." Rukia nods, and after a few minutes dismisses Shirayuki's released form.

They enter the now abandoned camp. There was obviously a camp there, but there wasn't much to show that they had be excavating the nearby cave. It wasn't even a cave anymore. "I'll have Dharma look over her files to see if there's any information on things of worth being buried around here." Rukia kneels over and studies a footprint. Something about those twins seemed familiar, like she had seen someone who's techniques shared something in common with their's. She shrugs, and continues to look for anything left behind. "Something wrong, Kuchiki-san?" "Nothing really, something just strike me as familiar about those two. Like I've seen jutsu like their's or something." After an half an hour sweep, the find nothing of real use. Chris does find some hair and remanent of explosives. "Dharma-sama will figure out something to do with these. Let's go." As the two leave, they don't notice the shadowed figure in an tree. "Team Silver eh? They might prove troublesome, they just got started and have agents everywhere." The figure disappears in a spray of stars.

A couple hours later, the two arrive back in Iwa. "Good work, I'll make sure this information gets to the respective places. I look we should go on mission more often." "Yea, I enjoyed working with you. Maybe we can spar sometimes. I'm interested in seeing what kinda of skills you have." "Maybe so, I tend not like the show off my skills outside of battle. After seeing Rukia to her place, he bows and takes his leave. I hate to think those two were holding back. They're younger than me and may be stronger than me. Don't worry about it, I'll just have to get stronger. Which means training time! After resting of course.
