Shu was running through the forest on an apparent bad choice of a shortcut. A branch flapped lightly against him as he stopped pushing it out of the way. "This is your fault Lupo." Shu stopped running and stood still. He looked left and right as the darkness surrounded him completely. He slapped a bug out of the air and stared ahead. Shortcut my wolfy hide. Lupo you are not good with directions. Shu ran forward again in a random direction. The trees thinned and Shu saw sunlight in the distance. Heh, I told you little one. No more barking at me like a retarded puppy. Shu scowled as he stopped at the line of trees before the village.

description: Even while in fusion mode, you keep some rational thought. With this technique, you give up all rational thought in exchange for power and speed. The user will go into a bloodbath rage, killing anything the user can get its hands on. You will not be able to feel pain, but you will have a good chance of being injured. You can not tell friend from foe, so this is a tech that should only be used AS A LAST RESORT.

Shu sniffed at the sight of the village in the distance and turned back towards the forest. You know what Lupo, I will listen to you for once. I'm going to train. An exasperated gasp was made by Lupo as Shu just grinned and moved farther back into the forest. "We barely know any jutsus from our clan Lupo, I think I'll learn one just for a last resort. There has been an interesting one I've been looking at from the scrolls Eric gave me." Shu took the first stance of the jutsu in a clearing void of any branches or logs. "The first part of this jutsu is fusion, but I'll do that later. For now I gotta learn the next part of offering up the last of rational thought." Shu began to meditate while in the stance, training. to think clearly while in a jutsu stance.

Shu's mind cleared as he focused himself, and calmed himself. He began the process of freeing his rational thought. The jutsu scroll itself had described the process as a over detailed way of just thinking the right way. It had said that all you needed to do was see the thought process as a river between the spot making your rational thought, and the spot where it is used. One is required to imagine a dam being made between the two and the river completely stop flowing. The process of just fusing damed the river slightly, but one would be required to completely stem the flow to use the jutsu. Shu nodded as he was able to visualize the river enough. He straightened his back as he prepared for the next step in the jutsu.

Shu cracked his neck to the side and dropped his arms to his side. Lupo, its time to try the jutsu out. Fusion! The great wolf howled as he fused with Shu. Shu's muscles tensed and his chest puffed out from the visible effects of the powerful fusion. "Ok Lupo. I do not know what will happen when I begin the jutsu, so I hope your ready to pull the plug." Lupo exuded an aura of sadness as he realized the danger of the jutsu. Oh, little one. You try so hard sometimes. Shu flexed out his muscles and retook the meditative stance. He was able to focus the proverbial river easier this time, but the river was only a trickle to him. "Frenzy Rampage!" Shu slammed down mental restraints on his rational thought and closed it completely. The jutsu activated and the rational thought was pulled from Shu, he became a berserking wolf.

An eerie howls reverberated out of Shu's mouth as he arced his back. The wolf instincts forced themselves unto him and he began to grow an unending blood lust. A small scent of game drifted to him and he went wild. Shu slammed a fist into a nearby tree, the bark cratering and the tree leaning over a little. He lowered his head to the ground and sniffed for the scent of his prey. A whiff of it came to his nostrils and he breathed it all in. His nostrils flared as he stood up slightly. He let out another howl and flew off into the woods at surprising speed. Leaves blew out behind him as he almost glided across the ground. In the center of a clearing a family of deer were grazing. Shu leaped out of the foliage into the air above the clearing. He snarled at the male buck, with a very nice set of antlers. The buck repeated a similar noise of its own kind, answering the challenge of Shu. Shu flew down through the air and the buck swung its antlers at his body. His arms blurred and he stopped the swing of the buck, grasping the antlers within his hands.

Cool air blew over Shu's body, as he walked across an open meadow. "Lupo? Hello? How did i get here..." Shu began to walk forward, staring out across the meadow. It seemed to just be an empty field of grass that extended an impossible amount of distance in every direction. "I can't feel anything here...hold on... I just thought that but it came out of my mouth." Shu raised a hand up to his mouth, surprised at the fact that it never moved but sound came out anyways. "I don't understand....did the jutsu do this? It did say I would lose all rational control, I guess that means I would lose everything. And by everything it meant everything. I can't even feel Lupo right now." Shu sat down onto the grass, bringing his knees up to his face. He wrapped his arms around his legs and sat there in the fetal position. "This jutsu.....this must be why its a last resort. I can believe now when it said that anything and everything will be killed...." Shu leaned his forehead down and rested it on his knee. "When will this end....."

The buck honked loudly as it tried to free its antlers. Shu roared in return as he landed on the ground. Resistance was fiercely put up by the buck, but it was barely felt by Shu as he flexed his muscles holding the animal in place. It honked in Shu's face again, twisting its head left and right. The animal's resistance drew out the blood lust inside Shu further, and he roared again at the buck. Shu lifted the buck up by its antlers and smashed it onto the ground. It honked out in pain, its eyes glazing over as it died. Shu smiled with a horrific look upon his face, as he threw the buck into a tree, watching in hunger as its spine broke and blood exploded out of it. A episode of drooling and ferocious eating almost followed, but instead Shu turned around to the rest of the deer family. Drool still came out of his mouth, but this time Shu prepared to brutally kill the rest of the animals. He took a step forward and cut his leg on a branch sticking up from the ground. Blood oozed slowly out of the cut.

The wind suddenly stopped blowing. Shu barely noticed as he continued to grieve over the lost of his friend. "Lupo...this is your fault. You told me to get stronger. You told me...." Shu ground his forehead into his knee, before something drastic changed the background. A liquid soiled Shu's pants, and Shu bolted up. He looked around himself trying to find the origin of the liquid touching him. A gasp escaped him as he saw something that was different from the endless ocean of grass. There was a small puddle of a very dark red, almost black, liquid sitting quietly under him. Shu took a knee at the edge of it and looked deeply into it. Another gasp escaped him as the reflection of the liquid showed...himself in the real world. He was snarling and growling at a small family of deer. "What the hell? Is that me in the real world? How did this puddle get made?" Shu continued to stare into the puddle as something seemed to be happening.

Shu howled again at the frightened family of deer. The shock of the brutal murder of their buck, and the presence of a vicious predator had frozen them in fear. A wicked smile came onto Shu's face as he neared the deer. The other full grown deer stepped in front of the smaller one, trying to seem imposing. It honked at Shu, and made itself bigger. Shu growled menacingly at it, but it stayed in its spot, shivering slightly. The hunger got to Shu and he could no longer play with his prey. He raced forward and grabbed the neck of the deer one handed, with ease he twisted his wrist and snapped the neck at a 90* angle. The deer fell lifeless to the ground when Shu released it, and Shu moved onto the smaller deer. It honked quietly at him, shivering crazily. Shu took no chances of it escaping, and punched the deer square in the head. There was so much force behind the punch that the deer's skull slammed out of its head and through the rest of its body.

Shu let out an unintelligent gasp as he watched himself do the atrocities. All he was able to do was sit down on the edge of the puddle and watch the horrors happen. He continued to sit there, waiting for something to make this better."Shuu....reach into the puddle Shu. Recover me as your guardian and reach into the puddle...you must....I can't control you....help me Shu..." Shu gasped again as Lupo's words came to him from the puddle. "Lupo!" Shu jumped up and leaned over the puddle. The image on it had changed, now it showed a very faint image of the face of Lupo. He wasted no time in following his wolf's directions and plunged his arm into the puddle. A tugging began on it, until Shu was forcibly pulled into the puddle.

Shu advanced on the dead deer. A wild smile was on his face, and he was drooling from the bloodlust. He howled to announce the killing of his prey and leaned down. Except he didn't stop going down. His eyes had closed and he landed on the ground with a thump. He was knocked out cold and his tongue lolled out of his mouth. "Take over now Shu. I've pushed the bloodlust away. Shu's eyes fluttered open and he slowly got up. A hand raised to his forehead and he rubbed it a little. "God dam....that sucked. Lupo are you still with me?" "Yes Little One, I am still here. That is a dangerous jutsu. It looks like you need to be knocked out for it to end. Shu nodded and looked around him. "Yeah but look at the power of it. I did all of this with ease....so much power." He shook his head slowly then shot up to attention. "CRAP! I forgot about the tournament, come on Lupo we gotta run." Shu ran in the direction of the Coliseum, hoping he would make it on time.
