Nathen rubbed the sleep dust from his eyes with the back of his wrist. He looked up to Darien, wow Darien was taller then he thought, and smiled sleepily up at Darien. Nathen nodded, half awake, and turned slowly on his heals. He mumbled a thank you and pulled open the new door. The bed look very inviting since Nathen wasn't accustomed to using so much chakara in such a short time span, he needed to either get a big sugar rush or nap for a bit. he chose the later. Nathen sighed, pulling himself into the bed and quickly curling up under the blankets. He tucked his head under the sheets so all you could see from around him where his ears and his tail. He could've been mistaken for a dog easily.

Darien went to work making new Ice Cream, despite knowing it would make Tamotsu mad as hell with the mess that came with it. He took several eggs, salt and chocolate flavoring and began making the odd concoction. He sighed as he looked at the door that was new in hall and wondered how such a powerful genjutsu was made to protect the house from being robbed and found. He decided it was best to not question it and continued to make his Ice Cream.

As Nathen slept, Tamotsu had come into the house silently and noticed the 4th door in the hall. Wondering what it was, he walked over to the door and opened it and saw what looked like to be a dog. But in his experience, he had a feeling. He laughed silently as he walked over to the bed and sat down on it. He began to pet Nathen, much like he had done to Darien in the past and spoke softly.

"I hear you wanna be a doctor. It's an admirable thing to do. Only the truly strongest become doctors. Because, like my sensei told me before I became one was, you need to find something in this world worth protecting. That will be what makes you strong. When you wake up, 100 yard into the forest is a small shed that looks like an outhouse. Meet me there and I will train you myself. And I will give you the ability to understand life as I do."

Tamotsu said as he stopped petting Nathen and got up. He left the room instantly as if he were never there.

Nathen relaxed slightly while Tamotsu pet him. But as soon and the comforting petting disappeared he whined quietly in his sleep and his eyes blinked open. Nathen pulled his head out of the blankets and looked around the room. "Wh-what was th-that?" He mumbled. Shrugging it off Nathen slid out of the bed and started toward the door. He tripped on the way but caught himself. The teen took a mental note to clean up the room he used later as he finally made it to the kitchen. "H-hello. D-did you come in the r-room, wh-while I was a-asleep?" Nathen asked, rubbing his eyes with his knuckles.

Darien raised a brow as he looked at Nathen, walking about sleepy-eyed. "No. I was here the whole time making Ice Cream. Oh! He probably came back! Check the Garden. He probably training near the Hidden Dog Pond." Darien smiled as he went back to making the Ice Cream he promised for the both of them. He wondered if Tamotsu had seen the mess he had been making. But shrugged it, considering it bad luck to wonder.

In the forest, beside a rather large pond, Tamotsu was standing on the water meditating. He was waiting for his new student and wondered if he would arrive soon.

Nathen blinked. He who? Nathen asked himself as he shrugged the thought off and slowly walked out of the door. "I-I'll be g-gone then." The gentle breeze from earlier had grown and pushed ageist Nathen and flung his hair in every direction as he walked. The cold air woke him up all the more.

After a few minutes of walking he found the large pond and started to circle around it. Looking for anyone who might want to talk with him. Nathen tucked his hands deep into his pockets trying to keep them warm. "H-hello?" He asked the wind blowing around him.

And year later her son is the healer." Tamotsu said as he stood above the water, holding a ram seal in his meditation. The wind began to blow around in a circular fashion around the two who were standing in the forest. "My name is Inuzuka Tamotsu, the Hokage and one of the best doctors in all of Konoha. And I will teach you how to be a doctor." Tamotsu opened his eyes as the water beneath him exploded.

"And we will begin by forcing your chakra pool to increase."

Nathen jumped when he herd Tamotsu's voice. He quickly spin to face Tamotsu. His eyes shot open as the wind whipped around the Hokage. Nathen scrambled away from the pond edge and pushed his back up ageist a close by tree. His chest heaved as he watched the water explode under Tamotsu's figure. It took a moment for all of this to sink in before he could talk again. "Wh-wh-what, was th-that?" He asked, his hands where shaking and his tail was wrapped tightly around one of his legs.

What is important enough for you to protect that you would risk your body for it?" Tamotsu spoke coldly but with a hint of sincerity in his voice. The test was about to begin.

Nathen slowly pushed off the tree, closing the distance between him and the pond. "I-I..." He sighed and let his head drop. "I-I don't have a-anything to p-protect..." He whispered into the winds. Nathen linked his fingers at the small of his back and shrugged into his shoulders. His tail was still tightly wrapped around on of his legs but his eyes where closed now. Nathen relaxed slightly and peeked up at Tamotsu though his bangs.

"Because you don't know how to value what's in front of you. When you learn to do that, then you will become stronger in mind. Just because the world has been cold to you, doesn't mean that there isn't no one there to protect you when you need protection. There are people like me, my other students, even Darien. We all look forward to protecting the place we live. For now..." Tamotsu walked off the water as it stabilized once more. He walked up to Nathen and the a little past him. With great speed and force, he lifted his left leg and slammed it down to the ground making a small earthquake and made several trees fall over.

"This is called Painful Sky Leg. When you learn it... we shall being to test you to be a medic-nin." Tamotsu said as he left Nathen there at the Hidden Dog Pond.
