The sand was painted red and smelt of impending death. The sun gave his final moments no peace. But it was something he had invited in this final moment. He knew he was a target, if not by ANBU, but by others who wished to claim whatever bounty put on his head. He stood there with the last herb in his hands determining whether or not he would use it. The wounds were deep and even if he used the skills he had, he would have to make it all the way to Suna to be treated. And even then, he would be fighting time. He retreated to a happiness he hadn't felt in a long time and opened his hand.

The herb flew from his hand, taken by the wind to it's next destination. Wherever it went, he knew it would be put to great use. For at this moment, he had the warmth of the sun and an invitation to a better life. He picked his right arm up slowly to the sky and smiled. "I saw... some of the world..." Blood slid out his mouth as he coughed a bit more up. His hair shifted a bit as he turned to face Suna to the left. His right arm fell down to the right pointing to a path, if seen from above, pointing towards Otogakure. It was here in his final moment, he was torn. Home was where the heart was, and he knew, he didn't have a place to put his.
