Shizuka nodded, as she launched another Dai Kamiatache at the opponents, causing a group of bandits and shinobi to be flung everywhere. She smiled widly with her fangs, as she finally put her giant fan back and drew her razor fans, prepared for close range combat, as she let loos with a barrage of air bullets knocking down a batch, she motioned for the elder to move forward, as she continued to fling them, but felt her chakra steadily decrease.
'I cannot do this forever, but I can do this till these guys are down.' she thought.

Ayame looks at Shizuka, "Go on ahead with the old man. I will stay here and take care of these men." Ayame stated fighting them pushing her palms against them asserting the wind to cause a greater force into the punch. She kicked a couple of shinobi sending them flying backwards. Jabbing her one wooden sword into the side of a bandit.

Ayame looked at Shizuka and sighed, "Get going Shi-chan!" She stated fighting off the bad guys. She took a punch to the side, but before she feel over she kicked the shinobi in the ribs.

Shizuka nodded, motioning for the old man to move as she continued to fight, feeling a bit chakra warn. She started using her fans to slash the men that came at her, her fans leaving cuts as it sliced through the air and through their skin, forcing them back.
She moved swiftly, intercepting anyone that tried to get close to the old man, and fighting them off using her fan and her fangs as deterrants. her eyes were glued on the blood but she ignored it with the mission in mind.

She kept her eyes and ears open for anything from Ayame as they moved, getting fewer and fewer of the opponents as they moved farther away, They soon found that silence was the only thing left in the dying day, as night started to fall.

Ayame finished off a few enemies and caught up with Shizuka and the old man. She had a few scratches on her but shrugged them off. As night fell, the three of them took their place to rest for the night, "Shizuka... you and the old man need to rest. You need to replenish your chakra. You used too much of it in your attacks." She stated handing Shizuka a rice ball. Ayame looked at the old man and sighed, "We should be able to make it to Suna by tomorrow, rest for a few hours and keep moving. That should be good enough." Ayame stated handing a rice ball to the old man and she ate one herself. She layed down and sighed softly looking up at the stars.

Shizuka ate her Riceball in silence, but since the sun fell, she was restless. "I'm going to scout out the area, I'll be back when I need rest" She said quickly, as she ran off into the shadows.

a couple hours later, the Red eyed kunoichi returned and aroused them "We need to get moving, it is still dark, which will give us an advantage over those that are preparing to march over here and kill us all, let us move swiftly and quietly." Shizuka then picked up the bag she had been carrying and helped the old man up, and then Turned and helped Ayame, who noticed that Shizuka looked a little healthier and stronger in the dark.

As they got moving, the sound of marching foot steps in the sands could be heared by Ayame and Shizuka's ears, though it was obvious that the elder didn't hear it.
