Appearence:
Kanae wears her long crimson hair in two ponytails and each have a pumpkin orange thin bow on them. She wears her leaf forehead protector in her forehead; Her short bangs in the front fall on her forehead protector, her long bangs fall on the sides. She wears a no-sleeve orange kimono type shirt which has pumpkin orange borders. To tie the shirt she uses a streatchable peacock green band around her waist. Underneath her orange shirt, she wears a short-sleeved shirt the same color as the band she uses around her waist. The green shirt's sleeves both have a black line design; this really has no meaning. Beside all this she wears a long orange espagnol (golden yellow) scarf around her neck. Her pants are black and the are only like about 4 inches above the knee, in other words, she wears leggins. Her shuriken holster is in her right leg, indicating she is right handed. Also, a little detail about her that should be known is that her right leg is completely covered in bandages (The reason why you know in the background). Another thing that I should add is that her ninja sandals are black and that she wears black fighting gloves that show her fingers.

Strengths:
- Above average genjutsu resistance and chakra levels
- Talented and agile with wakizashi
- Abnormal right leg
Weaknesses:
- Due to the fact that she's still training her leg, her agility isn't at all that impressive (yet).
- Short temper causes her to lose control and act out of her own volition, and thus almost endangering missions, but this only happens when she's pissed off.
- Her dislocating her right leg for fighting could actually become a problem in missions. It is certainly a good method for fighting, but putting it back with all the movement in battle could prove to be troublesome.
- She refuses to use her element for combat or anything perse, for she both fears it and hates it.
- She hates seeing corpses and such. For being a ninja, she needs to know how to handle it, but her past still haunts her and seeing people dying or already dead freaks her out or sometimes even paralyzes her.
- one her flaws is probably the fact that her only good offensive abilities are use of the wakizashi and her right leg, which still needs training. Of course she's good with the jutsu she knows, but when its less about jutsu and more about physical attacks, she lacks strength in a way, and this is without counting her right leg and the wakizashi or any other weapon.

Background:
Kanae has always this thing for believing that nothing is imposible for anybody; that no matter what the situation, you can make it out of it. Her perseverance is due to the fact that we she was just 5 years old, her house was set on fire while she and her family were inside. The house started burning quickly and she did was panic. Her parents tried desperatly to reach her and get her out of the house, but their try was in vain, for at that moment, the fire surrounded both of them, leaving them no chance to escape. Seeing this made Kanae scream and run to the front door, but, alas, the fire was consuming everything around her and there was no entrance now. Kanae desperatly searched for an available window, and when she found one, as she ran toward it, a large piece of wood fell on her right leg all the way from the roof. The pain slowly consumed her and she had started to lose hope of her surviving, but at that moment a mysterious person broke in and carried her out of the house. She felt a bit relieved that she was alive, but the fact still remained; her parents were dead. She felt herself fade away and the last thing she saw that night was a leaf village forehead protector; a ninja had saved her life.
As she grew up she trained her right leg, the one that had been broken with the big piece of wood, to take in any type of pain. Considering it was her worst leg, she wanted to make it the strongest, so she used it to her advantage. Now, because of that accident, she is able to dislocate her leg and make powerful attacks with it.
The fact that a ninja saved her that night, made her want to become a shinobi as well. So since then she lived each day with a goal, and that was to become a ninja. When she finally joined the academy, she tried to work twice as hard as everybody else. She didnt let her leg become a nuisance; like mentioned before, she made it her strength. She also became incredibly social, for she was all alone and she wanted atleast some friends. Her academy have probably been the hardest, but best, years of what she has lived. Coming out one of the best from her class and training hardly each day so that her leg would adjust to her movements. Tough days indeed, but worth it.
When graduation day arrived, she swore to keep moving foward for her parents and try to not let the past haunt her as it still does.
