Mastering a Jutsu: Kinobori

IC: Jikota and Shizuka began to climb the mountain. Using his chakra, he used his superhuman hearing. He heard violent winds, and sand being tossed everywhere. He knew no jutsu that could do this so he had no choice but to expect that it was a sandstorm coming. They had to move and find some place to rest, even for a short while. Jikota looked up, and saw a cave just 10 or 20 meters up. Luckily, the storm was going to come in 15-30 minutes.

Jikota:"Shizuka, listen, there's going to be a sandstorm coming shortly. This part of your training is called Beating The Clock. Up ahead is a cave opening, and the storm is coming in about 30 minutes. If you could make it to the cave in less then 30 minutes then you passed your training. Ikuzo!"

Jikota began to move twice as fast. Quickly, in less then 5 minutes, he made it to the cave with one arm tied behind his back. He then gave Shizuka a thumbs up to do her best. Don't worry he said to himself. If anything were to happen o her, I SHOULD be able to get her in time.

Shizuka began to climb, using the chakra to help her grip the wall, but making slow progress compared to her Sensei. 'I need to pass this test and get there, but how do I do that when I can barely move?' she asked herself, pushing herself.

Shizuka slipped at a couple points only getting about 10 feet in the time that had passed. She was starting to worry, but kept going. 'If Sensei beleives in me, I should Beleive in me' Shizuka yelled at herself.

OOC: Sorry for taking so long, my computer was acting up.

IC: Jikota looked over to the right. Wow he said. The storm was going to be coming faster then I thought. She's got no more then 15 Minutes to get up here. Jikota didn't want to discourage his student, nor frieghten her. Though, if he told her that she only had a few moments to get up here, or she's basically screwed, she would have both reactions. In other words, there weren't many good ways to put it.

Jikota:"Listen, you've come up 10 feet, that's good...but you would need another 30 to 50 feet in-order to get up here. Just use your chakra and run directly up here at full speed, and you should make it in time. Whatever, you do, don't look down. Or to the left. Just focus on my face and nothing else."

OOC: 20 Meters= 65 Feet, 10 Meters= 33 Feet.

IC:
Shizuka nodded, pushing herself onto her feet, she ran as fast as she could up the wall, fighting Gravity and the urges to look around. "I have to reach Sensei as ordered" she Said to herself, her breath coming in shallower as the Air got less.

She noticed that she could hear Wind now, and closed her eyes, focusing on pushing more and more, then finally it happend. She tripped on an outcroping and landed just an inch from the top, her hand grabbing the ledge, her nose bleeding.

She slowly managed to climb up, with only seconds to spare, the sand and wind passing by outside, causing the cave itself to echo with the sounds of the storm.
"Sensei, gomenasai" She said, through the blood falling over her mouth and from her nose, while her eyes were shut tightly. Her only thoughts in the dark Cave were that she finally made it in. 'Father would still yell at me' she thought again.

IC: Jikota smiled and states to himself that he had never doubted her. Though, he was still a little worried if she was ready for this type of training. They both wait, and after an hour or two, hopefully Shizuka would've gotten her breathe back. Jikota then takes out a Weapons Scroll. From the scrolls, he puts his hand over a Kanji letter marked "Yamazuki" or Mountain Training. Using a small bit of chakra, he summons 2 25 Pound ankle weights. One for both of Shizuka's ankles. They would weigh her down, but only a little bit....Or atleast Jikota thought.

Jikota:"Shizuka, instead of going higher, I want you to put these Weights on and climb back down the mountain. With these weights, you weigh an extra 50 pounds. It'll be tough, but remember, if you fall off, just use your chakra and catch back on to the Mountain."

Ofcourse, if she isn't able to do that, I'm always here to catch her. Jikota said to himself. Jikota, then walked directly down to the ground. As if the weight and gravity wasn't affecting him at all. Infact, it wasn't because he had done this training with 50 times the amount of weight, and on higher mountains. And not to be cocky but aswell as using one hand. This was a breeze for him in other perspectives.

Shizuka put on the Weights, and tried to step, being cautious. She slowly grabbed onto the edge, and climbed step by step down the wall.
'This is a long way to go' she said to herself, noticing the shadows as the day passed by, and feeling the strain of the extra weight.

she got half way down before having to stop to check her progress. The sun had moved accrossed the sky into where this face was now mostly shadowing itself.
'Come on Shizuka, you can do it' she cheered herself on, as she continued, doing her best to keep on.

She started to Get even more tired as she continued down, feeling Gravity increase as she got farther down, she held on tighter, hurting her palms. Her Face was flushed with effort and her ankles hurt from the weights.

She finally managed to get to the Last fourth the way before she started to slip. 'Oh no, this isn't good' she thought as she fell away, but quickly put the Technique to use. Her chakra was holding onto the wall from her feet. 'this did it' she thought, as she went to walk down, going slowly till there was only about 5 meters left "I'm almost there" she said as she lost her stepping and the technique wavered, causing her to slip and fall. Her Cries rang out into the sky.

IC: Jikota felt as if a huge boulder fell on his head. He forgot that she was go light weight. Though, nonetheless he was proud of what his student was able to accomplish so far. Infact, that was fairly good enough for a Rookie Genin. Guess we could work on his physical skills later then huh? Jikota said to himself. He then swooped towards Shizuka and caught her in his arms. Slowly, he walked back down the mountain and put her down.

Jikota:"Not bad but you'll have to try harder. Remember to become stronger then what you were the other day. Well, then again, you might just be tired. How'd about we get some Dango?"

Jikota put on a smile and pointed a thumbs up. Hopefully Shizuka won't think that this Thumbs up Pose is too dorky...No, she's my pupil so she must like it!. From what he had seen, Shizuka completed her training. Though, she would have to work on the jutsu later. Now was the time to rest.

Shizuka was sitting on the ground, looking at her Sensei 'What is up with that pose?" she asked in her head, but decided not to comment. "Rest and food sounds good" she replied to him, standing up and forgetting the weights that were still on. "Sensei, how far must we go?" she asked, again trying to focus on a destination.

'Shizuka, your parents would cry had they seen you fall, at what a failure their daughter is' She thought to herself, insulting herself for not being better 'I must try harder!'

OOC: Sorry for being gone one day. Let's just close this.

IC: The Jounin and his student arrived at the Dango shop. Jikota began discussing about his life. Talking about how his great grandfather, his grandfather, and his father rivaled the Kazekage's during their time. He also mentioned how he was suppose to fight the Kazekage of today but then mentions that he wasn't able to due to certain events in his life. Suddenly, a Chuunin walks up to Jikota in the dango shop. He then whispers something in his ear. As he get's up off of the chair and turns around his states one last thing to Shizuka.

Jikota:"An urgent mission has just come up. I'll have to leave you as of now, though, I'm sure we could meet up again, but later. You could go home, and oh yeah, tell your parents about how much you improved. They should be glad to have a shinobi in the family. Alright, see ya!"
