Syani sighed, as she was left alone again, to fend for herself. Even the shinobi that took her in were too busy to train her correctly, so she was left to fend for herself. She didn't really care, though, because she was usually alone, when they noticed that she wasn't quite the normal Kumo-nin. Her headband was wrapped in the middle of the upper arm, right in the middle of the elbow and shoulder. The metal plate was facing outwards, and she rather liked it there. She looked around at the city, and walked towards a more secretive place, where she had trained many times, trying to get her ice creation down... but without water, it had been a bit more difficult. She also had figured out that she could use water in a different way than most in her class... It singled her out, yet it only served as another mean to seperate her, or so she thought. She sighed, and thought about creating water... maybe from expelling it from her mouth? It could work, right? After all, she had nothing else to lose. If it didn't work, she'd just make a fool of herself in front of nobody, and she'd move onto the next thing... but if it did work... she had a lot of potential...

Syani focused herself, and tried to summon the water Chakra she knew was needed to make the ice she could make so well now that she had trained. She kept focusing chakra into her mouth, and finally she thought she had enough. However, when she tried to shoot out water out of her mouth, nothing happened. "Huh... I thought I had enough chakra... I guess I need a bit more..." She shrugged, and sat down, contemplating the amount of chakra she used, and the result she got. She shook her head and stood up again, figuring she now knew what she needed to get it to work...

Syani closed her eyes, getting ready for a second try at this. She summoned up the chakra again, after recalculating how much she might need depending on the amount that she used and the results. She concentrated for a moment, trying to get the perfect amount slowly, so she knew how much she needed for the perfect amount if she needed to get it quickly. She finally gathered enough, and drew a breath inward, and fired the water out. The resulting water ball shot towards the target, pushing it back quite a ways, until it hit the wall, in which the water ball exploded and layed the ground with water. It looks like I'll be able to use this technique to use my ice jutsu as well... She grinned. "Let's get cracking, then..."

Syani knew what she needed to get the jutsu to work correctly now; now she wanted to find out what happened when she overloaded the jutsu. She concentrated the water chakra back to her mouth area, and concentrated it into a ball that she would need to shoot out. It got bigger and bigger, and eventually, to avoid injury to herself, she needed to release it. As it hurtled towards the wall, she noticed how much water was packed into it. She cringed, ready for the backwash of the massive sphere of water...

Raiden walked out from behind a back alley. He had cleaned himself up after killing and eating the maniac murder who had plauged Kumo for too long. He watched the shinobi for a few moments before even steping forward into the light so that she could see him. He looked at her for a second. The girl almost reminded him of his friend Avis but, not quite. "So....... you seem to be training hard.... but, I see a slight problem with the projection. With mouth projection jutsus..... you have to work from the throat outwards. Not from the mouth. The throat allows the chakra to build up.... like a reverse funnel."

Syani grinned at the capabilities of the jutsu. It could help her a lot, and the shinobi of Kirigakure would be suprised to find one of their supposed own killing them. She was about to try again when a man's voice came out of the. She twirled around and quickly threw a senbon out of her pack, the senbon narrowly missing his head, but it was apparent she had meant to miss. It seemed to be a warning of of some kind, if he could see into that much. She looked on angrily, but then calmed down when she heard him speak. She stood up, having bent over to throw the senbon at the man."Sorry about that. I thought that you were an enemy. Can't be too careful nowadays." She nodded. "I'll be sure to remember that. Thanks."

Thinking of the man's words, the girl charged up the chakra into her throat, and found it collecting much easier. However, she didn't get enough the first time, because she didn't figure in the necessary amount of time. What came out was a small stream. "Hm... seems while it was easier, I didn't calculate that in. Seems it was too short of a charge. Oh well. Let's do try two."

Raiden was seriously surprised to be attacked out of nowhere. He was glad the senbon hadn't purposely been aimed at him or he would of had to retaliate. He heard he say something about being careful nowadays. He nodded. "I agree. The times..... almost demand that carefullness be a utmost need." He then proceeded towalk... in front of her. "They say... that one can only truely train when they have a real target to train on...... I want you to show me what you can do." Raiden smiled and waited for the girl to do something. "I'm Raiden by the way.... who are you?"

Syani smiled. "Thanks for your consideration, but I don't really have anything to use on you, and what I can, isn't really anything special." She sighed, looking at the water. "I'm Syani Kurataima. I don't know if you've heard of me..." She glanced to try and find his headband. "Since you seem much older than me..." She brought up her hand to perform a single handsign, and breathed in. She held it for a second, then exhaled, powdery snow blowing out of her mouth, but not melting on contact with the air. "This is what I can do right now... That, and trying to get the other thing down... for when there's water... there can be more ice..." She said, looking at the snow. "Isn't it beautiful...? How it glistens so...? Why do others... have to shun me for this...? Is it... that bad of an omen...?"

Raiden looked at her with a sort of feeling that he hadn't feltin a long time. He knew what she was going through and how much it hurt. He pulled a head band out of his pocket. It had the symbol of a heart with a diagonal line going through it. "This is my head band. As you can see..... I'm not one of the shinobi from the 5 major shinobi nations. I belong to a place called the Kokorogakure. It was created by a once proud and great man. He wanted everyone to be treated as if the were just normal people... even if they were like me." Raiden sighed and took the gourd off his back. The blood inside swished as he set it down."I am considered a missing nin for 2 reason. 1, I control blood. 2, i have to do something that people consider forbbiden and taboo." He looked down. "Personnaly, I think it is beautiful... the ice... it has a very beautiful look.... I don't think you deserve to be shuned. Not the way I am shuned."

She smiled at him, as he knew what she went through. "I was shunned at my birth, or at least soon after, once this power was found. It caused fear in my parents, resurfacing fear of a time long past in Kirigakure... which is why they dumped me in Kumogakure... away from them, and their city..." she shook her head. "This power of mine... caused havoc in Kirigakure long ago... and they shunned be because of it... instead of trying to teach me a right way to use this power..." She concentrated the water chakra she had into her throat, and shot out a nice sized ball quickly. To destroy them..."
