Suteki listened to what he said, war huh. That was news. Though it means he knew where Midnight Shadow was located, she guessed it came from the person she caught. First they are going to hold a Chuunin competition, was that going to be the meeting about this? So many diffrent countries in one place, so many leaders. Hopfully the village would be protected enough, and none of the other countries will take the moment to strike. Otherwise, it was going to be a disaster in the making.

Slevin spoke of food, she was a little hungry. "Sure why not." Free food was good, she was still partially homeless. Not many missions were happening lately due to the attacks. Money was sparse.

As he sat there waiting for his food to arrive, he thought to all that had happened while he was in Team Omega so far. He winced as he remembered his first introduction to the mass of the group, what had he been thinking then? They had all thought he was some kid who thought he knew it all, but with time, blood and battle he thought he had grown a bit from then, he could see the world now for what it was, its corruption and evil yet its goodness and just.

Torio, when they first met, he had tried to poison Danmos, and Danmos could only retort with a suicidal comment, Was something wrong with him? He felt he had proven something to Torio that day, though he wasn't sure what. Maybe it was the fact that he admired Danmos's qualities? Whatever those are...Torio had proven to be a great leader and he hoped Torio really didn't think of Danmos as an annoyance he didn't even care if Torio liked Danmos just as long as he was accepted was enough for he for some reason he couldn't figure out looked up to Torio.

Slevin, Danmos had always seen him as the loud and rash individual of the group. He being older than the rest of the members always seemed to loom over Danmos whether he was trying to or not. It was strange, he saw him as an ignorant jerk who laughed at Danmos's misfortune yet at the same time he looked up to him as he looked up to Torio. And the two of them were together at the time... Was this immoral? Why should it matter? It's good we live in a world where we can make our own choices and to be censored in these decisions is to be sheltered from real-life experience.

Suteki, He wasn't sure what it was but something drew him to her, like a magnet. Maybe it reminded him of that one day he had spent with Felicia before she had been killed, how time had frozen that day, in the clearing of the village, where all the crime and corruption of the world could never reach, he was able to express himself if only a little bit, and Felicia had liked the Danmos he had shown her, maybe he looked to Suteki and wanted to bring that kind of moment back, yet at the same time Suteki was her own person, at one minute she could be rash and prone to arguing and the next calm and understanding and he had happened to grow most fond of her in the group, however he thought it was probably weird that Suteki was 11 and he was 14 they were both at the age of innocence not the age for love and here they were thrust into the ninja world forced to watch tragedy and death and it was these things that slowly erradicated both Danmos and Suteki's innocence. Before being a shinobi he could actually look forward to the next day, there was meaning and purpose in life and now..he found it hard to find a reason to keep on going.

In the midst of his thinking his food arrived the plate of rice and a bottled water. Danmos had suddenly lost his appetite altogether he reached for his ocarina and looked into it and then he begun to play the notes almost came to him without him realizing and soon he was making beautiful song. He lost contact with the real world as he played sinking into a reality of peace that he sought for, where all was right and just, anything to shoo away the pain that tore at him.

Slevin nodded looking around the office for something which wasn't apparent at the time he quickly threw off his vest leaving on his undershirt then left the building signaling for Suteki to follow behind him. Slevin walked to the place where he was planning to eat seeing Danmos through the window, he walked through the door with a light smile walking to his table and sitting on the opposite side of him "Embrace the fact that it's all a comedy yet kid?" he said signaling a waiter to come over. Slevin guessed he didn't know who the Kage was yet and decided to keep it to himself for right now he brushed the hair back from his head grabbing a packet of cigarettes which he had taken from his own now personal stash at the Kage tower he opened it and placed one in his mouth.
He afterward pulled a lighter from his back pocket lighting it hearing the waiter yell at him to put it out which he aptly responded to "Mind your own bloody business." returning his attention to Danmos.

Suteki had yet to appear so he decided to share a word of advice with him he gestured for him to come a bit closer so he could whisper into his ear "The key to happiness is, getting over your problems. Then embracing them to make yourself better. It's all a comedy y'know" he said Danmos probably unaware that he had been out of town at all.

Suteki followed after him, but not to closely, as they walked out Suteki glanced at the notice board. She read the information their, hoping to find something new. Slevin passed her by, she didn't notice till he was out the door. She read for a moment longer then followed.

She stepped out into the open, it was a sunny day in the village, very little clouds, and a soft breeze. It was hard to think of what passed recently, the village seemed almost back to normal, except the minor construction still going on, and the preparations for upcoming events. Suteki looked around, 'where did Slevin go...' She saw him sitting next to someone who looked like Danmos, she went towards them, not in much of a hurry, enjoying the calmness of the moment.

Danmos opened his left eye when he heard footsteps nearing his table it didn't take him long to figure out that it was Slevin approaching him he brought his ocarina down instantly allowing it to dangle by his neck, he was almost ashamed that Danmos had revealed some kind of soft spot to Slevin. He smirked a little at Slevin's retort to the waitress as he was living up to the Slevin Danmos hadn't seen in his 2 week comatose state, yet was more intrigued with Slevin's accusation. It's all a comedy? It was such a broad term he looked to Slevin who motioned him to lean in closer as he shared his wisdom.

"The key to happiness is, getting over your problems. Then embracing them to make yourself better. It's all a comedy y'know."

Over his life span he had been forming several of his own theories about life in his head, maybe they were twisted by the world of shinobi but what he had come up with was the idea that happiness is a euphoria people cling to so as to find distraction from the fact that they only race to their own grave. And in a way Slevin was proving it by saying that happiness gets over problems creates the bliss of happiness, so as long as you are bliss you are happy. This wasn't they way he wanted to go after life, he wanted to find understanding of the world, to unravel humanities true purpose and to achieve it how could he do that if he was too busy 'being happy?'
Slevin had seemed to have grown a little himself the past couple of weeks usually Slevin never shared ideas and only tried to crack jokes, maybe he has embraced the pain of the world we live in as well, this would make Slevin a much more favorable person in Danmo's eyes, though he was already pretty high up on Danmo's list. Maybe he had gained some kind of knowledge that Danmos hadn't quite grasped yet and after a pause he gave his reply to Slevin still next to his ear.

'Why should I seek happiness? It is only the euphoria of distraction from the pain of today's world.

He leaned back in his chair trying to keep eye contact with Slevin but it was hard for him to stare into Slevin's eyes he might've just been too shy.

Slevin looked around "Because it's sheer stupidity if you do not, that's the point of humanity as a whole. Your not going to be happy until you, get happy " He laughed out standing up and put his cigarette out on the side of the table leaving it there. "My husband is making lunch, I'd like you to come with, Suteki will be joining as well later though." he said walking from the restaurant hearing the staff curse him he gave a middle finger as he walked from the building and yelling "You shouldn't talk about the Kage like that." he hadn't realized he had given away his secret for a few seconds. After his little statement he kept quiet walking to his new house happy that he was getting back to his love.

He couldn't really agree with Slevin's answer, now he was saying that it was stupid to not be happy...but if happy is bliss than to pursue happiness is to only pursue ignorance, there had to be something more to life than he had yet to understand and it was disappointing that Slevin hadn't given Danmos the answer he wanted but at the same time it seemed like he shouldn't be talking about something like conflicting theories to the person he hadn't seen in a long while as either one could get easily offended and he happened to like Slevin as a person.

The next couple of things Slevin said really made Danmos worried about what he had missed, had he married Torio? Why couldn't he call Torio by his name? And then he said that he was the kage, he blinked in amazement and curiosity. How could Slevin, who was no lower rank than he was be able to jump to Raikage in an instant? He wanted to ask Slevin more questions but he was already heading out the door, heading to Torio's house. Danmos looked to his food that he hadn't touched, he still payed for it as he wanted to believe that by supporting local business he could help to improve the economy of the nation and the world and somehow work towards a better tomorrow. Once the bill was squared away he went off to go catch up with Slevin. Once they got to Torio's house Team Omega would all be assembled under one roof, something he looked forward to.
