Even though Ikego graduated ninja academy, it didn't exempt him from the hours of detention he still had with his academy teacher. He sat in the classroom bored, restless in his seat, "I'm not even a student anymore, this is ridiculous!"

The teacher was sitting in the front of the classroom behind his desk, "Because you were still my student, and I feel as a teacher that I'm not finished teaching you," the teacher replied.

"Teach me what?" Every jutsu you offered I mastered easy. I aced every test. Ikego was slightly irritated. He finally found a comfortable position, lieing his head down on his arm on the desk.

"Let this be a lesson that every action has a reaction. Some good, some bad, that's life. I hope this will teach you to make better choices in the future," the teacher crossed his arms and Ikego took in a deep breathe.

"Erghhh. Whatever. I'm officially a ninja now, and this is counter-productive. I could be out training, or on missions, or SOMETHING other than this."

The teacher nodded in agreement, "Who says you can't train here?"

Ikego lifted his head, "Like?"

The teacher got up, walked to a cabinet and opened it. He pulled out a book and rested it on Ikego's desk, "You were the top of the class in chakra control," the teacher sat on the desk across from him.

Ikego inspected the book, "Ijutsu Vol. 1, what's this?" He opened it and began to read, "This is a special style based on using supporting and healing ninja techniques. It is required to learn medical ninjutsu.
Higher skill in this style means better chakra control and slightly higher chakra reserves. This style is not battle-oriented, but might still give a minor advantage in a single combat. Okay...why are you showing this to me?" he asked.

"You said you wanted a challenge right?" the teacher replied.

Ikego flipped through the book, glancing at the information and pictures it had to offer as the teacher spoke,"Not too many students have potential to become medical ninja like you do. So when we do see one, we have to offer it," Ikego still didn't sound too interested, but the teacher continued, "Iwagakure is low on the list of gifted medical ninja, and you were the only one in this year's class who could qualify for it."

"The only one?" Ikego was taken back by the information and smirked, "I'm that good, huh?" he put down the book and took the black feather from his arm and began tossing it up and catching it.

"The only one...and there weren't any with the potential of last class either," he said.

Ikego's eyes widened for a second and he continued to play with the feather, "Hmh...well then...I guess Iwagakure needs this. I'll do it."

The teacher smiled, "I was hoping you would."
