Clan Description:
The Itichi are said to be descendants of the fallen angel from heaven, Anthos which would explain their strength, but it is a difficult thing to believe that such a being would exist. Others say that the clan is an off cut of the sharingan, though this is quite obviously untrue. In all honesty the background of the clan is shrouded in mystery, it is unknown how they came to be in the ninja world, the only thing that is known is their undeniable power. Until about a hundred years ago the clan was quite sizeable. But all of a sudden the members all disappeared, no one knows what happened, not even the Itichi that survive today hold that knowledge, though it can be safely assumed that the clan decided to remove itself from the public eye and into secrecy where it might better operate, perhaps they chose to control things from the backbench, perhaps they took control of countries and shinobi villages as they were established. Whatever the case staying in hiding did not work out as well as the Itichi might have hoped in the long run, over the years the clan has almost completely died out with some members even unaware of their own heritage. And those that are aware are almost completely alone, likely the only member of the clan for miles and miles around, for a time the Itichi rallied around Zieg, but when he disappeared they once again fell into the shadows with no one truly knowing whether they were still around or whether a disaster had fallen upon the remaining members.

The once secretive Itichi clan has become world famous in the past decade with several of its members rising to great power and one in particular coming close to conquering the entire shinobi world. Stories of the Riyukous eye and Itichi Zieg are known all over the world though no one but a member of the clan truly knows the power and extent of the kekkei genkai. In the past few years the clan which once stood atop the world has diminished and with no leader to unite them the remaining members have dispersed to all four corners of the shinobi world and their numbers continue to diminish. The clan is now believed to be extinct by the general populace and this is generally regarded as a very good thing as previous members who rose to power chose to wage war against other shinobi. The clan having so few surviving members is nothing new, the Itichi clan has not been large for a long time but even so it is believed that a small number of clansmen would be more than enough to overrun a shinobi village.

Clan Traits/Characteristics:
Members of the Itichi clan all share a similar appearance, every member has dark red hair and deep crimson eyes. An Itichi is easy to tell apart from any other ninja and if in doubt all Itichi share a birthmark somewhere on their bodies which takes the form of a black crescent moon. This birthmark has become the clan insignia and in the past the mere sight of it caused people to run in terror.

Clan Personality:
There is no defined personality in the clan although every single one of them tends to be a natural genius who succeeds easily without much effort. Such a trait could easily create a ‘God-Complex’ of sorts in which the Itichi would think themselves superior to regular shinobi in every way, and although this is somewhat true, most clan members are far too smart to think themselves invincible.

Bloodline Description:
The bloodline limit of the Itichi clan has become world famous and is easily recognisable to anyone with an ounce of knowledge about the past of the shinobi world. The Riyukous eye is what has made the Itichi such extreme genjutsu masters, genjutsu cast by them are more believable and all but the most powerful genjutsu can be dispelled instantly by the clansmen, with the extreme understanding of genjutsu that comes with being an Itichi clan member a clansman is able to learn and use genjutsu as if his skill in the style were one rank higher. The blood flowing through a clansmen’s veins awards him with many benefits, first and most notable is an incredible healing power with superficial wounds such as small cuts and bruises being healed almost instantly. Second is that they always have an immense chakra pool, far beyond that of a regular shinobi of their rank. Third is a body that is naturally adapted to the shinobi lifestyle, the Itichi possess amazing amounts of stamina and speed, they prove to be difficult opponents to best in a taijutsu battle. Every Itichi is born with the potential to awaken the Riyukous eye, though not all can reach the final stage and those that have, have risen to positions of great power. The Riyukous itself removes the dark red of the Itichi eyes in favour of pure white, for each stage of the eye, another dark ‘tomoe’ will manifest around the pupil with the tail always facing away from the centre and with a maximum of three tomoe in each eye.

Bloodline limits:

Name: Riyukous Eye
Requirements: 3-point training for each level, C-rank for Stage 2, A-rank for Stage 3
Description: The Riyukous is the Kekkei Genkai doujutsu of the Itichi clan, it manifests itself in three stages which are awakened through training and battle. It is believed that the power of the Riyukous eye comes in response to a need and so it is impossible for one to simply channel chakra into their eyes in the hope that they might receive the doujutsu, though not improbable that a clansman may receive it without entering battle. The first stage of the Riyukous, when just activated turns the Itichi eyes from their usual blood red into a pure white and has a single tomoe placed around the pupil in each eye with the ‘tail’ always facing outwards from the pupil. The second stage has two tomoe in each eye, located directly opposite from each other. The third and final stage of the Riyukous has three tomoe appear in each eye with one located above the pupil and the other two located to the bottom left and right.
To activate the Riyukous takes a small amount of chakra to the eyes, keeping the doujutsu active is no problem for any member of the clan as their bodies are made for the doujutsu and the chakra drain is minimal for them, if one were to implant a Riyukous eye into one not of the clan however they would find that the chakra drain is unbearable, they would not be able to make any real use of the eye before their chakra pool is completely empty. It is said that only the strongest of the Itichi can unlock the third and final stage of the Riyukous. At any stage the Riyukous eye possess the ability to reverse any genjutsu that the Itichi is caught in back onto the user, however the clansman is limited in this ability in that it will only work on genjutsu that he has the power to dispel.
- Stage One: The Riyukous eye becomes purely white, and leaves only the pupil, one tomoe appears in each eye, somewhere around the pupil, the tail is always pointing outwards. With this stage the Itichi can dispel B rank and below genjutsu instantly without a cost to their chakra. The user can now see with a greater clarity, they find themselves able to see in shrouded areas such as thick mist or darkness.
- Stage Two: In this stage the user gains two tomoe within each eye, the tomoe are positioned opposite each other and are hardly ever symmetrical with the opposite eye. Stage two carries the traits from stage one and also gains new abilities. The Itichi can now dispel A rank genjutsu instantly without any chakra cost and similarly, any genjutsu that the clansman uses becomes more believable so that a simple genjutsu kai will not work despite its rank. The user also gains an ability called ‘Dead Interpretation’ whenever something is in motion the Riyukous eye can instantly calculate the speed at which the object is moving and its projected trajectory. The Itichi can then take this information and use it to calculate their next attack or avoid an incoming strike.
- Stage Three: This is the most advanced version of the Itichi clan doujutsu, few members of the clan have ever achieved this feat and those that have are always the strongest members of the clan. The user gains three tomoe in each eye, one positioned above the pupil and with the remaining two positioned to the lower left and right of the eye with the tail always facing away from the pupil, the eyes are always symmetrical at this stage. Stage three carries over the same traits from the previous two stages and also grants the Itichi new abilities. The clansman can now use any genjutsu in their arsenal without the need for hand seals so long as they can catch the target’s eye for even just a split second. The Riyukous eye can now dispel S rank genjutsu instantly without any chakra cost and similarly makes any genjutsu used by the clansman much more believable with the genjutsu being treated as two ranks higher than it actually is, not only this but any genjutsu used through the stage three Riyukous only take half as much chakra as they would normally cost. The Riyukous eye can now percieve its surroundings with an incredible amount of clarity and with this clarity the effectiveness of the 'Dead Interpretation' ability is increased with the eye being able to pick up on even the slightest movement and predict its movement with the greatest of accuracy giving the Itichi plenty of time to react.

Clan Jutsu:

Name: Illuminating Rose technique
Type: Genjutsu - Visual
Rank: B
Requirements: None
Description: The user disappears into a flurry of rose petals which then blow violently all around the target. The rose petals serve to completely disguise the user’s whereabouts from the target, effectively rendering them invisible not only this but it also makes it next to impossible to discern projectiles which are thrown at them and other attacks. The Genjutsu lasts about as long as the user wants it to so long as they can deal with the constant, but weak chakra drain.

Name: Destructive Vision Technique
Type: Genjutsu - Visual
Rank: B
Requirements: None
Description: A very useful genjutsu, once the target is caught under its effects they find that their vision rapidly begins to deteriorate. Certain areas of their vision will freeze as others don’t and as they look around everything seems to blur and mash together, this effectively blinds the target as it is impossible to see anything. Lasts 3 posts at max.

Name: Magan (Demon Illusion Eye)
Type: Genjutsu - Visual
Rank: A
Requirements: None
Description: Once the target is caught under the genjutsu they will be instantly knocked unconscious for a few seconds. During this time the user can make movements, striking his opponent, or avoiding him. The target doesn't realize they were put under the genjutsu, therefore not realizing it happened at all. It will only appear as if the user has teleported.

Name: Deep Sleep Gaze
Type: Genjutsu - Visual
Rank: B
Requirements: None
Description: Once caught under the genjutsu the target will suddenly feel groggy and fall into a natural sleep. This is a potentially tide-turning technique as it can be used for the Itichi to make their escape or to dodge an attack or make an attack of their own. Although, seeing as this is a natural sleep the target will wake if they are struck or there is a loud noise etc.

Name: Vision of Hell
Type: Genjutsu - Visual
Rank: A
Requirements: Stage three Riyukous
Description: Although the genjutsu is called ‘Vision of Hell’ what the target sees can actually be almost anything though it would usually be something horrific. The target, once caught under the genjutsu is subject to whatever the Itichi wishes to show them, even their own death. At this point the target is completely frozen in fear, unable to even lift a finger, if the target were to be somehow harmed then they would instantly snap out of the jutsu.

Name: Hells Vision: Black Destruction
Type: Genjutsu - Visual
Rank: S
Requirements: Stage Three Riyukous Eye.
Description: The user stares into the eye of his opponent and creates an illusion within the mind. Using an immense force of chakra the user makes an illusion of the user being in a wasteland. The wasteland is dark and everything is almost gray. Suddenly form below their feet a large black orb appears and surrounds the opponent in a large area, about 100 feet in diameter. The orb then quickly comes in, sinking into the ground and getting smaller as it goes along, eventually crushing the target. Once done the opponent's body will feel fatigue and tired. If applied with enough power can even go so far as crush one's mind. The mind will greatly be stressed and fatigued as well. The technique takes a lot out of the user and can only be used five times a day or else the user will collapse if used a sixth time.
