Name: Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: E (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: E (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.

Background: Koji Tsukino’s true birthplace is unknown along with his family and history. All that he knew was what was told to him when he was 12 and finished with the Academy.
Early Years
Koji was born into an extremely poor family that came from the village Amegakure (Rain Village). His family consisted of his father, mother, and himself. His father and mother struggled daily, before Koji was born, to simply provide for themselves, but when Koji was born times simply became harder. One day, when Koji was still only a few days old, his parents took a trip to a neighboring village, Iwagakure, and left Koji outside the village gates. Before they left, his father took out his special ink and left a painless tattoo on the back of Koji’s shoulder that said, “Respect”. They also left behind a note that stated that whoever found the kid should look over Koji as if he were their own and help him become the best at whatever he pleased. After they did this, they left into the darkness to never return.
When day came and the village gates were opened, Koji was found by a middle-aged, male Jounin named Daiki Tsukino. The Jounin was actually somewhat shocked at his findings, but after reading the note, he vowed to treat Koji as if he were his own. He would take Koji home to his wife and son, Daitaro, where they would become a real family.
Growing Up in Iwa
Koji loved Iwagakure and by the time he was 8, was showing great promises of becoming an awesome shinobi. Daiki noticed this and decided that he would train Koji along with his Daitaro in hopes they would become great Shinobis together. However, this wouldn’t become a friendly rivalry between siblings, but instead a rivalry to the death for Daitaro. Koji would simply overlook the signs of hatred from him and Daiki showed even more love to Koji for doing just that, therefore making Daitaro even madder at Koji. As time would pass, Koji would begin to show an interest of Puppetry and Genjutsu, while Daitaro would show interest in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu. Daiki showed more attention to Koji as this decision was made for the simple fact that he loved puppets, but was only so good at it. He also helped Koji for the fact he was an awesome Genjutsu user. This put Daitaro in the dark even more and his hatred towards Koji grew more.
By the time the two entered the Academy, it was clear what would happen. Koji began to become popular among his peers, while Daitaro began to get shunned by the world. This would only be the case for so long until one day, Daitaro couldn’t take it anymore. Koji was clearly the greater son and there would be only one way for him to become the greater…to kill the great.
A Bitter Relationship
One day after the two graduated from the Academy, Daitaro decided it was time to perform his plan and kill Koji. The two would be walking through the outskirts of time near a huge cliff that was known as the bottomless pit. It was here, Daitaro punched Koji as hard as he could. Koji couldn’t believe what had happened, but quickly caught his balance. Out of anger, Koji quickly scrambled to his feet and tackled Daitaro. However, when it came to physical violence, Daitaro would win for the simple fact he was trained for that type of fighting. After 5 or 10 minutes of getting beat, Koji removed his puppet from his back and decided to get serious.
Daitaro stood no match against Koji’s puppet for the simple fact Koji’s skill in puppetry was to much for his little skill in Taijutsu. Daitaro then decided he should incorporate Ninjutsu into the fight, but it was too late. Koji already had his Genjutsu in effect and Daitaro was getting overwhelmed by it. It would seem as Koji would win the fight, but he decided to spare his brother’s life and released the Genjutsu and put away his puppet. As he went to help up Daitaro, Daitaro wasn’t going to accept defeat so easily and gave a low blow by grasping Koji’s hand and throwing him into the bottomless pit. However, Koji was somewhat prepared and stopped himself from completely falling into the hole. He would wait for Daitaro to give an evil laugh and hear him walk away before coming out the hole. When he got out, it was dark and he made his way home.
Arriving at the home, Daiki and his wife wondered why Koji took so long to get home. At first he planned to snitch on his brother, but could tell that it would only make their relationship even worse. Instead he decided to say he was out training his puppet skill and was now ready to sleep for the night. When he confronted Daitaro on the subject, Daitaro made it clear to Koji that he was now “dead” to him. Koji could only frown on the statement and only hope that they could get back on good terms.
I Hate You
A year or so would pass before anything major would happen again. Koji was 12 as well as Daitaro and their relationship was still in the negative. The two would fight behind their parents’ backs and even then, blood would spill. The two would return home more beat up than the last. However that would end one day when Koji would be jumped while walking on the border of the village. He was actually very talented by now and used his 3 puppets to be able to attack precisely as well as defend himself. However, the enemies were great in numbers and they managed to get to him. They beat him brutally and left him severely injured. When it seemed his life would be over, he heard a few guys get knocked around and heard some more yelling and screaming. The guys that beat him were in a panic and were being picked off one by one. Koji finally managed to gather the strength to roll over and saw most of the men lying on the ground not too far from himself. As he continued to scan the area, a hand grabbed him by the front of his shirt and stood him up. He couldn’t believe it. Daitaro had come to his rescue. Daitaro was covered in blood, but it was no telling if it was enemies or his own. Daitaro told Koji there was nothing to worry about and he would catch up with him back home.
When Koji arrived home, hours would pass before the door even had a knock. When the door was finally answered, it was a group of Jounin and Medic Nins that said something to Daiki. When Daiki heard the news, his wife fell to her knees and cried. Koji didn’t even have to enter the room, but could easily assume what had happened. Daitaro had died. Tears would roll down his face as he silently cursed Daitaro for killing himself to save him.
The Aftermath
The next few months after Daitaro’s death left Koji’s life a mess. He had no idea how to continue on with his day, or even start it. He was still popular among his peers, but still the closeness of his friends meant nothing to him when his brother was dead. His days would become long and his nights even longer. He had nothing to do with his life except train and cry. He couldn’t help but think of how to live his life after such a big loss. Daiki on the other hand began to notice Koji’s change in behavior and sat him down. He told Koji of his past and how he really wasn’t his son and he wasn’t Daitaro’s real brother. He told him that Daitaro was jealous of him and therefore the least he could do was help him get what he wanted. Koji was tear up and cry, but after hearing Daiki’s words, came to understand there was nothing he could and could only return to the life he once lived. After a few more weeks, Koji returned to his happy social life, but would still mourn in private over Daitaro’s death.
