Caleb waited until he was miles away from the Hidden Leaf pile of crap before assuming his usual style of dress. The symbiote surged in much like a wave before changing to the loose yet comfortable clothing that was his new style. Mew? he send telepathically. The response comes a few seconds later, Hold on, I'll meet you there. Feel honored Excuse me? No answer came for his next question, so he continues to walk through the forest alones. As he walks along he decides to practice some aikido moves. From palm thrusting the air, to tossing some logs, he passes the time as he works his way to the location of Yurinohara. This helped pass the time faster than Caleb had hoped, pretty soon it was night time. He set up for the night and spent and half hour or so looking at the stars before falling asleep. Apart of his training regiment he only ate two meals a day and light ones at that. His rest was suprisingly well considering he was in the middle of the forest with only one blanket. The next morning he looked around to see if Mew was there, but the summon was still gone. He pulls out the bento box his mother had created and eats his first meal in the disturbing quiet.

As Caleb is preparing to continue his journey, Uchiha Micheal appears a few feet ahead of him. Or rather the projection of him. Caleb's eyebrow raises, "Trouble already?" The near transparent image shakes it's head. "Important message from the Raikage, delivered personally. A bit foolish unless it was a clone." Caleb nods, "Go ahead and read it then," Micheal does so;
Hokage-Sama,
I am writing to you in a call for aide and information. My village has fallen victim to a number of explosions. In only one night, both my home, the hospital and various other areas were destroyed. Our elders were then executed. The reason I tell you these specifics is that information has reached as that other villages have suffered from near-identical attacks. It is a time like this were the great villages must come together as one, to defeat whatever aggressor is behind these crimes. It is for this reason that I request your presence at Kumogakure, to form a defensive-pact based alliance between our villages.

Caleb thinks for a moment. "Alright then, I'm on my way." He sighs and turns around. "However, no word of me leaving the village until I get to Kumokagure, understood? His advisor nods, and the image fades away. Caleb had been more or less walking, but since he has business to tend to he start tree running.

Once again Caleb is on his way to Yurinohara, this time the astral projection of Mew following him. I'll make sure you come this time , he says convincingly, though it was in jest. Anyone who knew Mew would know this. "Things happen, I may need to go back to Konoha before I get there." Despite appearances, Caleb was concerned about Konoha, and he decides that he might as well train even on his way to Yurinohara. He stops and takes a look around. He's out of the trees and in a rather large clearing consisting mostly of flowers and grass. This spot is as good as any, He places his hands together, then in a blur makes the handseals that help someone who's only a beginner in his personal fighting style. Inhaling deeply, the wind comes around his his arms slowly then begins to form on his legs. Now the next level, The wind then instantly surrounds his tail, and slowly creeps towards his torso. Caleb's hair blows gently in the wind, until it reachs his neck. His hair than start whipping about him wildly, as an aura of visible green wind chakra surrounds his body. He locks his hands in the Tori sign, trying to stablize his aura. He nods and releases the handseal. There, that was pretty simple. I should have trained for it earlier. He ponder whatr he should learn next, and the image of the flames burning Konoha enter his mind. Rather suprisingly, this gave him the idea for the next thing he would try to learn.

Description: At it's basic use, it creates a vacuum that knocks everything away from the shinobi. The user has to spin while using it will be open to attack the few seconds it takes to recover after doing it. The spread of this move is a 5 - 20 ft diameter, depending on the amount of chakra used to pull it off. It deflects jutsu B rank and lower and cuts the damage from A rank. All but the heaviest projectiles are deflected.
After learning Jin Katachi an additional option arises. Rather than making a reverse vacuum, you create a technique that is alot more damaging. It losses the ability to block B rank jutsu. It can deflect C rank and lower and scythes anything within the radius with wind blades. It still can blow things back, but this is only half effective in doing so. This requires an addtional amount of chakra as well.
Finally when Tenohira Yoshiki Jukutatsu is learned and you do the training required for an A rank jutsu the final option of this technique is achievable. This last variation takes a large amount of charka, enough that it should only be used twice a battle (considering moderate use of chakra during which). It blasts everything within it's radius with a massive amount of deadly wind. It cuts and deflects anything with it's radius. It's capable of deflect A rank techniques and deflecting large projectiles. While the cuts it causes aren't quite as large, they are terribly deep. |
The wind armor took hardly any chakra to maintain, but still it was chakra he didn' want to waste. The wind dissappates, and Caleb places one foot ahead of the other as he tilts down and bring a hand behind him. There's really no need for him to assume the stance, he simple does it because he felts like it. Wind once again forms around his arms, and he changes positions so he can easily spin on one leg. Wind kicks up around in a elegant spiral, one that wouldn't be thought he could do with his chakra unstability. A vortex forms around him, it supporting him and his spinning supporting it. Of course he had been able to perform this jutsu for a while now, his want was to kick it up a notch. He concentrates, and the vortex shrinking a bit as it becomes harder to see through.He dips his head, mentally picturing it to help enclose him. A few seconds after he does this the vortex around him becomes a dome.

Description: Much like Buki Yoshiki it surrounds a weapon in wind. However, is for ranged weapons and works a little differently. The wind offers no protection in exchange for better cutting power. This windsheath lasts a single post, but if you pick up the weapon before then or have a wire attached to the weapon you can keep the wind around the weapon. Alternatively the wind can burst on impact sending small wind blades out in a shotgun like spread. This will most likely knock the enemy down or back. Even though it is like a shotgun only one enemy can be hit with this. This secondary effect's cutting ability is considerably weak and easily shielded against. The cuts aren't deep at all. This may be possible at a lower rank, but Caleb refined it so it would take as little chakra possible. |
When the wind wall dies down, Caleb stumbles around a little but quickly regains his composure. Another down, he thinks as he pulls up his sleeve and rubs a thumb across the bottom of his arm. A puff of smoke emits and when it clears he has a windmill in the hand he used for the rubbing. He runs a thread from his bracer into the hole, and then holds it in the hand that the thread is coming from. He ties the thread to his middle finger, and then throws the windmill shuriken. As it flys he guides it's path with the metal wire, practicing a one of the skills his clan is known for being good at. He makes it sweep low, cutting the tall grass around him. After messing aroud with it for about twenty minutes, he pulls it back towards himself and catches it in his right hand. He forms a windsheath around that arm and closes his eyes briefly. He sighs lightly and the aura of wind spirals down to surround the windmill in his hand.

He looks down at it and nods, then tosses it once more. He uses the thread to keep it airborn, long enough to see how long the wind aura would last. It wasn't too long, but he isn't too worried about it. Once again he pulls it back in, and puts an aura of wind around it. Rather than throwing it immediately, he takes a few seconds to tighten and sharpen the aura. That should make the weapon extremely sharp, but would have less protection as a result. He tosses it again, keeping it in the air as long as possible. As soon as he sees the aura of wind waver, he sends chakra down the wire to feed the aura. It almost goes out, but he refines his chakra controls in just enough time. Satisfied with this, he pulls the windmill back and seals it back into his arm.

Description: You summon wind around you, then direct it to surround an enemy to damage them. This jutsu require no handseals, just for you to gesture with either hand or a wind producing weapon. A small whirlwind will circle a five foot radius and continues to do so while the actual attack happens. The wind will surround the enemy, lift them into the air and cut them mulitiple types. Afterwards they'll drop to the ground from the natural pull of gravity, nothing else. The wind that attacks the enemy is visible, and they can use high speed to move out of the way.
If Tenohira Yoshiki is known, you can use a binding version of this move that causes no damage. It will hold them in the air, or on the ground, for as long as you concentrate on the jutsu and channel chakra into it. This is done by holding your hands together in the Tori handseal. If you have Tenohira Yoshiki Jukutatsu activated, you only need to channel chakra into one hand and keep it pointed towards the opponent to hold them. |
Enhaling deeply, Caleb takes a moment to evaluate his chakra. Enough for one more skill, if I learn it quickly. He begins walking towards the forest. We leaving now? Mew asks, who had been suprisingly quiet until just then. Caleb shakes his head, "I'm getting a target to practice on." Mew tilts his head to the side questioningly, Eh? Caleb sighs as he picks up a rock after reaching the forest. He picks up a few more one at a time, judging there weight. As he's about to pick one, he spots a rather large one. That should be about as big as a person. he thinks as he walks closer to it. Caleb thinks back to one of his spars with his uncle, Chrys. On one occasion he use a skill on him known as Fuuin Bakufuu to counter one of his charge attacks. Rather than dedicate it to memory, he had decided to make his own variation of it. Focusing on the rock just ahead of him, wind kicks up around his right arm. Nothing seems to happen at first, but soon wind kicking up in a whirl around his feet. A few minutes later the rock is surrounded by wind. It slowly begins to lift into the air, but then falls. Momentarily sighing, he waves his arm with the wind still on it. It starts slowly lifting again and small cuts form on the surface of the stone. Satifised with the stability of his move, he accelerates it's execution. The rock lifts decently high into the air, where it's assault with multiple wind cuts. It then drops to the ground, the wind kicking up around Caleb stopping.

Description: This techniques follows in with the zero finesse concept of the Rasengan technique family: it is simply two Rasengans at once, one in each hand. The pure power of this technique equals that of Oodama, however, it is somewhat more versatile, as it can be used to strike two targets at once or one target to different places. If you hit one target with two Rasengans like this, they will also take extra damage because of the conflicting rotation forces applied to them.

Caleb decides to continue to the village. He was out of chakra for the most part, but there was still daylight for him to burn. He begins walking again, not even bothering to beacon Mew to come along. Mew snaps out of whatever stupor he was in, just in enough time to see Caleb disappearing into the distance. Wait for me! he says, flying to catch up with him. "It's not like you can instantly teleport beside more or anything." Caleb says as Mew catches up to him. It was in jest, though it was hard to tell with his current actions and emotions.
The two journeyed until it was pretty dark before finallying stopping for that night. After relieving himself behind a tree (which Mew also pretended to do >.>), he climbs another a distance aways. He looks toward the direction he is supposed to be heading in, as if he was close enough to see city lights. Even had he been that close, Yurinohara is hidden enough were you couldn't see any light unless you where actually in the village itself. Pulling out a summoning scroll, he summons a fresh hot meal. He nods, thinking about the way he had gotten his mother to put meal on specially prepared dishes, so he could enjoy hot meals while out on his adventures. Careful, hot. he tells himself after nearly burning himself on one of the plates. He carefully sets his meal out, the eats it. Once he's done, he reverses the summon in order to send them back to his mom's kitchen, along with a thank you note. He then summons an blanket and wraps himself up in it, remaining in the tree.
The next morning Caleb awakens with the rising sun, and not just because it's shining in his eyes either. He yawns and stretches a bit, then climbs down the tree and stretchs somemore. Mew wasn't there, probally still asleep back at his cave or whatever he lives in. Taking out some fruit from his small bag he munches on it and starts walking. After a couple of hours, he stops to train another technique. He finds a rather clear spot on the ground and sits there crosslegged. Closing his eyes, he rests his hands on his knees. Inhaling deeply, he forms a rather primitive version of Rasengan in his left hand, slowly bringing it to it's completed state. As it was nearing second stage completion, he forms another one in his right hand. It's creation was slightly faster than the one in his left which was probally a mistake on his part. He was used to making it in his right hand, but it disrupted his harmony which results in both of them disappiating in a burst of blue chakra. Caleb grimaces slightly, but not at the small amount of pain. It was at his failure, caused by him rushing he should take slowly. Exhaling to once again center himself, he once again attempts the technique. This time he simultaneously starts stage one Rasengans in both of his palms, and begins to slowly refine them until they are in the final form.

OOC: I need 2 total. Which means 1 point to go.
IC: No, he thinks to himself, disappating the chakra by his own will. He could already tell that it wasn't going to work anyways. He would have to train it stage by stage, but probally not nearly as slow it took him for the initial Rasengan though. Alright then, first stage, Indeed it's the easiest one as well, him having to rapidly spiral chakra along both palms. It came to him as naturally as Kaze Dansu. Taking a deep breath, he continues to the second stage of the technique. It was more tricky having to concentrate on spiraling the chakra on two different hands in multiple directions. He has to restart, an when he does he tries to make one extra chakra spiral on each hand at a time. After about three of four different directions he loses it, many times. While tempted to add to one hand at a time, he figures that it wouldn't be any benefit to him to take it any easier. After taking a better part of an hour doing different things, he finally is able to pull off the next stage using both hands. Now for power, which is probally the second easiest part of the technique. All it is is pouring in more chakra as you rotate the spirals around. It also carries alot of risk, so he was going to keep this slow as well. A single band of chakra rotates over each power, slowly building in speed and chakra amount. After about a minute, he forms another thin ribbon of chakra over each hand. He almost loses the first two, but he slows them down until they stabilize. After bringing them back up to speed, he works on the newly formed spiral of chakra. USing this processes he makes his way, until the spiraling chakra appears to be forming spheres in each hand. Final stage, form. he thinks to himself, still maintaining the unrefined Rasengans. Squeezing his eyes together, he tries to even out the rotation of each in order to make them perfect spheres.
