Description: A pack of five stray dogs have been attacking shops and people in an attempt to steal food. The village is tired of it and want the dogs captured or killed on the spot

Nikko had succeeded through Megumi's first part of the training session, and after a half hour break, Megumi was eager to continue,"Okay, now..." but before she could finish her sentence, a shinobi made his way towards them. He was wearing a green jounin vest, and he didn't look familiar to Nikko or Megumi. The konoha symbol on his headband was proof of his allegiance to Konoha and their companionship.
"Coloso, Nikko...Hokage-sama wanted me to give this to you," curious Nikko took the scroll and the jounin continued, "Good luck!"
Nikko read through the contents and a smile crept up on his face, "Hah! Sorry Megumi, training's gunna have to wait!" He rolled the scroll back up and thrusted his arm upwards in excitement.
"Heh, so you got yourself a mission?" She could remember her own reaction similar to his.
"Yup, my first one since Konoha's...incident" he replied.
"Well then...I'll be at the parent's house," she said as she turned to begin her path back home.
"Wait! This training isn't over! Just be ready for when I get back!" Nikko shouted.
Megumi chuckled and she was on her way. Nikko read over the mission details once more, "A pack of five stray dogs have been attacking shops and people in an attempt to steal food. The village is tired of it and want the dogs captured or killed on the spot."
"Well then...I guess the first stop is the Ichiraku Ramen Shop!" After walking a few minutes with a clear mind, Nikko found himself standing out in front of the Ichiraku Ramen Shop. He walked in and sat down on the nearest bar stool. The current shop owner approached Nikko from the other side of the bar, "How can I help you?"
"Actually I'm here to help YOU! Do you happen by any chance have problems with stray dogs?" Nikko asked.
"Ahhhhhhhh you're here for my request!" the bar owner replied, "Good timing too. These stray dogs come rummaging through the leftovers when the sun goes down.
Nikko looked at the clock hung up on the wall to look at the time, "When do you close the store?"
"This store's open 24 hours," the owner replied.
"Any particular time they'll show up?" Nikko asked.
"Not really."
"I see, well, you wont have to worry about the stray dogs anymore! I'll take care of it," Nikko said jumping out of his seat. He walked out of the shop and around it for quick survelience. After he found the garbage dump, he walked up to the roof, and layed there patiently as the day turned to night, ever so slowly.
Nikko hardly moved as he stared into the garbage dump, looking up at the sky almost every twenty minutes,"This has got to be-" he yawned, "the most boring-," he yawned again,"mission...ever." Nikko opened his eyes groggily, and blinked a couple of times before realizing that it was morning. He looked down at the garbage dump and saw that there was trash everywhere. The garbage bags have been shred to pieces, trash was scattered, along with leftovers. The smell wreaked throughout the whole shop, "Damn...."
Nikko lifted himself up and jumped off the rooftop to and witnessed the scene of the crime up close and personal. He plugged his nose trying to ignore the horrid smell. As if things couldn't get any worse, the owner of the Ramen shop came walking towards his direction, and Nikko could hear him, "I recognize this smell," the owner turned the corner and he looked from the garbage on the floor to Nikko, then to the garbage on the floor to Nikko, and again, and again, and again, before suddenly bursting out in rage, "YOU DIDN'T GET THEM?"
Nikko managed to push out an uneasy laugh,"They're tricky," an anime sweat drop could be seen at the back of his head,"BUT! No need to worry because I already came up with a strategy," he said with his pointer finger up.
"One more night. If you dont get them by tonight, then you WILL be fired!" the owner said before turning away to head back to his shop, mumbling how the smell is somehow ruining his business. Nikko exhaled a sigh of relief and scratched the back of his head,"I can't mess up this time. He walked through the streets of Konohagakure, and thoroughly checked every alleyway. After hours of search, he was beginning to just give up and wait until nightfall. He started to walk towards his house, feeling disgusting how he was still covered in mud, he was in desperate need of a shower. But on the way, he heard a canine growl coming from an alleyway, which was located as the space between two houses. Looking down the alleyway, he could see a garbage dump, along with a swinging tail behind it.
He inched closer, and whistled, hoping to get the attention of the dog, or dogs, because he didn't want to come any closer to the garbage with how dirty he already felt. A dog growled in return, and looked at Nikko from behind the garbage with deadly eyes, baring fangs. The dog rushed at Nikko with killing intent. Nikko alley-ooped over him, and the dog ran under him. They both turned around, and the dog looked angrier than ever. He rushed for the second time. Nikko hand his palm out, put his palm to the dogs neck, and slightly pushed it to the side of him, to avoid getting bit, while at the same time he didn't want to hurt it, "Good doggy." Another dog revealed itself from behind the trash can, "Ughh... doggIES..."
They both rushed at Nikko, and Nikko jumped on the wall beside him and attached himself. He performed a set of handseals and average speed, "Nihan Shouja no jutsu" bright white feathers appeared above the two dogs, and the dogs drifted asleep. He jumped down the wall and landed beside the two dogs. Without the dog growling, the alleyway still wasn't completely quiet. He could hear whimpering from behind the garbage dump. He walked over there, and saw two smaller dogs whimpering, and among closer inspection, realized although they weren't small, they were still puppies. He looked over at the two sleeping dogs, one male, one female.
"Ahhh...damn..." he looked back at the puppies, and they're scared faces were just all too adorable to kill OR capture, or even ignore. He squatted down to pet them, and the puppies walked over to his shelter,"What am I gunna do with you guys?..." he pensively petted them for a few moments. He noticed how dirty they were, and looking down at his own clothes, he was covered in mud still from the training session prior, "I got it! Come!"
He got up and walked to the two parents dogs, with the two puppies following him obediently. He picked the two dogs up, and held them under his armpits as he made his way back home. Nikko took off his top and his muddy pants, and began running around the yard playing with the puppies. After getting to know each other, he felt a proper cleaning was in check. He unraveled the hose from the front end of the house, and turned it on, spraying down the puppies and scrubbing their fur, and next he started scrubbing his hair. It was an average day, and playing in the water was surprisingly refreshing. The puppies, and Nikko were all having a a good time, although he would never admit it.
Time passed, and as he was scrubbing the puppy further, he heard a growl. He looked behind him he saw the father dog was angrier than he was earlier. Baring his fangs to the fullest extent, he leaned down and prepared to pounce. At that moment, the front door of his house swung open. Megumi walked out, who was impervious to the whole situation. It was like it happened in slow motion. Her body acted as if she had somewhere important to go, but her head turned slowly to look at Nikko, and the dogs in her yard.
The father dog made his move, he began rushing towards Nikko, he was already mid-air by the time Nikko even looked back towards him. But what Nikko saw next kinda made him sick to his stomache. Megumi had ran passed him with amazing speed, and grabbed him while he was still in mid air shouting, "Aww!!! I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM," and swinging the once verocious dog side to side. Both Nikko and the father dog sent confused looks to one another, and the puppies went back to playing.
About ten minutes later, Nikko was coming out of his room to see his sister Megumi begging their parents, Kairo and Mai, "Please please please can we keep them please please?"
Only a short answer was heard from Kairo, "As long as I don't end up taking care of them," which was followed by a short sigh.
Her face shot up as she screeched"AHHHHHHHHH thank you Daddy!!!!" and she went back to tightly hugging the father dog and swinging him side to side, who didn't look ferocious at all anymore, but more disappointed. Obviously he didn't like the hugs. Nikko walked back in his room.
Another ten minutes later, he walked out, and saw all the dogs had a pink bow on their heads, who all seemed happy and didn't mind, except for the father dog, who sent Nikko a look as if saying 'you shoulda just let me starve'. Nonetheless, everyone was well fed with full bellies, and Nikko welcomed the new additions to the family, slowly but surely becoming infatuated with the whole pack of dogs as they were with his family. He looked out the window and saw that the sun was starting to set. Jun honestly wondered whether or not that pack of dogs was the pack who have been rummaging through the restaurant's garbage. He walked back to the Ichiraku Ramen Shop, silently happy that he found them whether they were the pack causing trouble or not. It was already almost evening by the time he made it to the shop. After a short coversation with the owner, he made his way towards the back, he noticed the mess was all cleaned up. He jumped on top of the roof and posted at the same spot where he posted the night before. He patiently stared at the garbage can, "The most-" he yawned, "-boring mission-" he yawned again, "EVER!"
As he stared at the garbage, he felt his eyelids become heavy, and eventually, he drifted to sleep once again. The last thing he thought of was a picture of the pack of dogs resting at his home comfortably. The night slipped by him, and he opened his eyes to fresh morning air,"Not again..." disappointed that he fell asleep on a mission, twice. As life was returning to him, he looked down at the garbage, perfectly dirty in a clean way like it was the night before, "So it WAS them..."
He jumped off the roof, and made his way to the manager letting him know the problem was solved. After a brief mission report, he found himself eager to get home. Walking in the door, his mouth dropped to the floor. The Momma dog was showing off a pink collar and pink jacket, the puppies were sporting pink collars with matching pink sweaters, and the Poppa dog also wore a pink collar and pink shades. Poppa dog was the only one who seemed to not be enjoying his new gear. Nikko could see his mother, Mai, giggling with Megumi, and his father Kairo just shaking his head. He couldn't help but smile as the two puppies came running at him to welcome him to their home.
