Elisa walked through the shambles of the village near everything had been at least partially destroyed. After walking around for several minutes she was Masakado, they were due on a mission to find a missing pet or something like that, "Hey, how you doing?" she yelled out waving with a warm smile; after walking for a few more seconds in distance to have a conversation without yelling. Elisa smiled at the young man he had apparently seen a lot over the last week, she had as well having the philosophy of being happy or dead, at least their were still people to talk to in Kumogakure. She looked around seeing a small stall selling jewelry or something of the like, she walked over signaling for him to follow. The owner and lead salesman was a chubby balding man in his late forties or so who spoke gingerly to a degree, "Hello Missy, anything I can get for you?" Elisa smiled back "Perusing your fine wares everything looks great." she looked around casually not really ready to get on with the mission.

"Have you ever felt so terrible that you couldn't cry, you couldn't sleep, or even rest... But other than that, good.." Masakado said randomly to Elisa as she carried on a conversation with the owner of the stall.

He didn't know how to break this sadness he was feeling or what ever he was feeling, but she was here and he felt like she would know how to fix his pain and regret.

"That would look nice on you." Masakado said pointing to a particular sliver necklace that had a blueish tint gem attached to it.

"How much is that?" Masakado asked leaning inward to get a better view of it.

She looked at the necklace, finding it quite pretty "You have to stay optimistic, I've been through that and much worse. Lived on the streets a while back, never been able to cry afterward.", her voice trailed off after saying this she had said something she rarely shared with anyone. Afterward looking back at Masakado, "I'd really appreciate it, if you didn't tell anyone you know that I might run into. It's not something I'm proud of." her voice trailing off again. She looked down at the jewelry again not really seeing anything that interested her looking back over at him, "Want anything?" her voice had quieted a bit from her last few statements.

Masakado smiled as he noticed that she felt as though being homeless was the worst thing in her life. It made him laugh slightly as he realized she was just that kind of girl. He nodded at her statement involving not telling anyone and sighed looking in her eyes.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

He slowly picked up the necklace and handed it to her despite the looks from the owner of the stall.

She held it carefully noticing the owners facial expression which made her roll her eyes, "Well it's certainly nice, might have to come by here later and buy it." she looked around not noticing anything spectacular happening around the village "Anyway, as I said keep optimistic and good things will happen.", she looked over at the shopkeeper saying, "Could you hold this for later please? I don't want something to happen to it while we go on our mission." she had a warm grin on her face that rarely went away. Elisa scratched her right ear lightly then sighed looking over at Masakado "You ready?", she waited for his response afterward. She had began to like her new team mate, more as a friend but none the less.

"You know... I was thinking of buying that for a pretty girl that looks just like you.." Masakado said trying to be optimistic, trying to act like he would before, but it didn't seem possible. He felt like crying once more as he looked at her. He knew she'd never accept him, but that wasn't what was making him sad. It was the the fact that he was getting attached to her and he just didn't want to lose another friend.

"Lets start this mission!" He said. His eyes grew red as he turned looking in the direction of the house and tears started forming.

She nodded continuing with her grin, "Some pretty girls like to buy their own things." she laughed lightly following him to wherever they were going. Her feet made a rythmic pat on the ground which annoyed her somewhat she ignored it to the best of her ability however. She wondered about what her other friends were doing at that moment in time letting the thought slip continuing to follow the young boy, not really having much on her mind seeing as not many people that she knew were hurt during any of the attack and none were killed. Elisa caught up walking beside Masakado seeing him on the verge of tears deciding to comfort him placing her long skinny left arm around the back of his neck, "C'mon now, I'm not going anywhere." she had a basic assumption of what he was thinking at that moment and decided that's what went best with it.

Elisa walked off afterward. [exit]
