~ A small and pale child with lengthy raven-black hair stood amidst a rocky landscape before a sizeable rock which had several strange holes where the rock seemed to have just melted away. The youth was breathing heavily and slightly sweating, his right hand was steaming slightly and shaking as he stared at the holes in the rock in wonderment. "Have I...Done it?" He asked aloud and raised his quivering hand to before his face, he could still feel a strong heat on his flesh and he balled his hand to a fist. "No..." He growled, seemingly angry with himself. "I have to be able to use it without fear of burning mysefl!" And as he said this his hands clapped together making a string of hand seals, he then dropped his main hand to before his mid-riff and clasped the wrist with his left hand, this time he would have to focus more on shaping his chakra as opposed to creating the most. A fierce black flame exploded around Midaru's hand and he cried out in triumph, he could no longer feel the heat of the flames but no sooner had he accomplished his goal than the flames violently wnet out and the little ninja staggered "Wha...?" he whispered weakly, confused as his vision began to blur and slowly fade away, Midaru collapsed to the floor, completely drained of chakra.

When the boy awoke it was to a dark night sky, he could hear the wildlife of the mountains clearly over the stillness of night and he lay peacfully on the ground for a few moments. He watched as his breath steamed up into the clouds which moved slowly accross the sky, these few moments he was completely calm. But he couldn't lay there forever, and he wasn't the type to lay around envying the clouds, Midaru slowly got to his feet, or he attempted to but as he moved a sharp pain shot through his entire body and he cried out causing several birds to fly in fear. "Seems like I've only got a certain amount of uses before that jutsu drains me completely..." He sighed to himself and laughed quietly before very carefully rising to his feet. The ninja cast one look back at the rock he had tested his new technique on before he left "Mashin Shageki...The Demon Fire" He thought to himself and turned away, slowly making his way back to the inn which he had remained at. ~
