Personality: Vieux takes great pleasure in taking every mad scientist cliché, as well as most of the ones of his family and hamming them up to the max. He frequently breaks into strange cackles, and making inane comments about wanting to see what people's insides look like. Its extremely hard to tell if he is actually serious, or is doing it as part of some elaborate joke aimed at the rest of the world, though there is one personality trait that is extremely well pronounced, and is about the only thing he doesn't change on whim. He always has porn on him, no matter where or when he is, and no matter how inappropriate it would be. He frequently pulls it out when he isn't in his lab, generally when bored and usually when it is likely to get him into trouble, not that he actually notices.

Inside his lab, hes the same yet different. While he still makes the same jokes, hes actually does try and enlist people in
his experiments, generally trying to give them extra limbs, though he often makes attempts to capture people for his actual research which takes a slightly different vein to the other members of his clan. Instead of focusing purely on biological research, he is more interested in the incorporation of applied chraka and seals, seeing a new form of research that could lead to many interesting discoveries. Or to things blowing up, but as he often jokingly says, that's just part of the fun. Luckily for him, there are always plenty of bodies to be played with available from various sources, and some money slipped into the right palms can lead to various 'enemy' ninja mysteriously disappearing before their slotted executions. After all, as long as they end up dead, it doesn't really matter how.....

Background:

Born into a lab, Vieux's creators designed him to be the ultimate seduction machine, but a freak accident caused the experiment to escape and his programming to change and shift, until he decided to destroy the universe, then conquer the remains. Or at least so he would have people believe, and many people tend to fall for it due to the rather creepy smile he tends to affect while saying so. The truth however is far more mundane, which is one of the reasons why he made up the story in the first place. His mother was a lab assistant, not considered effective enough at the clans work to be allowed to practice it herself, and his father was a traveling trader who she took a fancy too one night. Needless to say, 9 months later, little Vieux popped out all cheerful and smiling, with a screeching cry which could shatter glass.

By the time he turned 5, there was one thing which was extremely obvious. Viuex was going to be working in the labs, and screw anyone that decided to try to stop him. Every attempt to try and channel him into more 'rewarding' career paths only lead to him shooting people a blank look, then attempting to sneak in to watch the latest attempt to fuse a pig to a penguin. By the time he had reached his early teens, it became apparently that he wasn't even the slightest bit interested in the life of a ninja, and so his mother resolved to try at least once more to keep him out of the labs. Sadly the only thing that came out of her attempt to get him interested in life was a hooker in a coma ,and him developing a love of porn that was almost to the level of a certain historical one eyed Konoha jounin.

Then one day, he disappeared, as well as a large chunk of his 'ninja training fund', which was the amount of money his mother had saved up in case he ever changed his mind. It wasn't until she found the note he had left behind that she had realized exactly why she had left, and managed to convince herself not to hire a team to bring him back. Since he was considered to be expendable, and had refused to join the ninja corps, he had instead been chosen to be sent to the 'Monastery', with the understanding that if he survived and came back competent there would be a place reserved for him in the 'main family' and the materials he would need for research.

Inside the monastery/academy, it was like all of Vieuxs dreams had come true at once. There was information that was practically unavailable to anyone else in the elemental nations, experimentation was encouraged, and people didn't mind the occasional explosion. In fact the first time that he blew himself up trying to create a new kind of explosive tag, his teachers presented him with the coat that he still wears today. Though not all of his instuction was focused around breaking natural laws or learning new ways to blow things up. He also spent an equal amount of time learning the more intricate details, and many a night was spent with a magnifying glass and a tiny brush, examining the work that millions of people around him had done in the passed.

Partially through his third year of instruction, he came to a rather interesting revelation while reading a little orange book he had found tucked behind a shelf. While it was little more then a cheap and trashy porn mag, with a shallow story about seal based expanding bust sizes, it did give him a thought... What if you really could use seals to affect biological tissue, perhaps change it at cellular level. Throwing down his copy of Icha Icha Hebi, he immediately ran to the library to find out every bit of information that he could... only to discover that there was very little about it stored within the public area's. Which was perfect, since it meant plenty of stuff could be experimented with, except that he didn't have access to the proper tools and equipment.

So he stopped most of his messing around, and instead focused on learning the 4 disciplines of Seal lore, spending as much time as he could memorizing and learning the processes of Breaking, Binding, Making and Winding. It was a lot extra work, and wasn't nearly as gun as attempting to make things explode or blow up, though it was rewarding in its own right, with every discipline learned bringing with it new ideas and inspiration, until he was practically burning with excitement, not being able to wait until he could get home and hopefully receive his own lab. After all, one advantage of being part of a clan that focused on corrupting and perverting nature was that they were far more lenient when it came to the occasional broken law. Not to mention that the food was better, with the first thing he planned to do when he returned to Kumo was to find something to eat, preferably hot and oily. Only then would he seek out the rest of his clan to find out whether or not he would be accepted.

It's not really that big of a deal? Certainly not something to hold back an approval.
If nothing important happened in those 6 years, why bother writing about them? Besides, as Ari said, the way he wrote it speaks for itself; He was successful.
Regardless, he has exceeded the requirements for background; So it should be approved and if he choses to edit it later, he can.
