OOC: Think of the pike as a part of the environment. Fegte gave me insight that I should not be able to use the weapon at my rank with it being a B ranked weapon. I did not consider that with a person placing it into the profile, but I am not using it anymore until I atleast become C rank.

After injecting not only the reptile of slithers and the giant tree that represented life, Keto found himself to be in a position that was awkward and clumsy. Getting into the position was not clumsy, but it was full of flaws that his opponent could immediately manipulate to his own advantage. His feet were wide apart and his arms were stretched out holding his spear with both of his hands. It was not common for a person to use a spear in a thrust with two hands, and it was even more uncommon for them to stay in that position because ill thoughts that would cloud their mind. He was feeling weak and confused by his opponent’s tactics within the vegetation of darkness. It was not dark to be unable to see his hand before his face, but it was dark in essence. The place was filled with evil things that sought to be as dangerous to the boys as they were to each other.
Before too much time could be passed for Keto to be declared as a wimp for freaking out, the boy found his composure and began to stop thinking about the way his opponent chose to fight. He was a good tactician and he thought about his plan that he executed without fault. That was the way that Keto had to look at the situation and try to gain an upper hand in the predicament that was unwillingly placed onto him. He would have never thought he would be placed between such a set of hard places at the beginning of the bout, but that was the way battles went. No one could have controlled the outcome to make it had been going in either of the boy’s favors; it was up to them to do so in this exam. That was the purpose of them showcasing their skills in front of a crowd of people that would possibly one day have to fight them, protect them, use them, or need them in any duties they needed carried out.
For now, Keto was to keep his weapon struck inside of the tree and between the snakes split head. He turned around with a new outlook on the battle as he was not going to keep worrying about what his opponent had in store for him and worry more about what he had in store for his opponent. The young boy released his hand from his pike to not be wasting strength on pulling it out. He turned around to see a fist punching directly for his face with a thought that he had been waiting too long to react when he shifted one of his hands, his right hand, into his line of sight to then see a shroud of smoke surround him. It was another clone. Keto was in deep now, but he was done thinking and thinking. It was time to react.
The boy was now prepared to assume fighting stance. Keto placed his right arm in front with a open palm facing the him while the other was held behind his back and his feet were close by each other forming a ninety-degree angle to show him now using his fighting style known as Gouken Ryuu. Keto followed his shift in stance with closed to allow his mind to be one with his surroundings through sound. He made himself handicap by closing his eyes, but now he was able to focus more of his attention on hearing than seeing. He hoped to be able to differentiate between slides and steps of people with ease to find his target. Projectiles may prove to be a little risky, but he hoped that his opponent would not utilize the method without giving away his position first. _________________

Toru sighed as his little trick failed to work, the clone seemed to have not only not helped Toru confuse Keto even more, but it also seemed to inspire Keto. Keto, who had let go of the pike which was not hanging from the tree, was now in what seemed an offensive stance. It almost looked familiar, but Toru had no idea if it helped i any way, or if it just felt comfortable to his opponent. Either way, it could be dangerous for Toru. Who knew, was Keto a shinobi who specialized in taijutsu? Or was he a ninjutsu or genjutsu user, any could be deadly if not faced with the proper idea in mind. If he had thought thought that Keto was a taijutsu expert, but turned out to be a genjutsu user, that could be very troublesome indeed.
Toru finally decided to move. He hopped up into the air, pulling three cold hard shruiken out of the small pouch on his leg as he descended back to the ground. The moment his foot touched the ground, the shruiken had already been thrown. One shruiken had been sent to Keto's chest, another one to his right leg, and the last to his left shoulder. He then ran forward, grabbing one of his two nunchaku, from another pouch on his leg, this pouch was on his left leg. The nunchaku was quickly spun around in the air, Toru holding onto the other side. It was just two pieces of fine and strong wood, connected by a metal chain, but it was very effective if you knew how to use them.
As he ran forward, he switched the nunchaku to his right hand, swirling the nunchaku more, trying to confuse his opponent to where he would attack. Keto's eyes seemed to be closed, but anything could happen. Toru quickly swung the nunchaku up to hit himself in the back of his left shoulder, hes left arm stopping his right from rising any farther. Then after what seemed like forever to toru, he finally attacked. A quick swipe from Toru's left shoulder to Keto's waist, then quickly followed by an attempt at a uppercut to the jaw from his left hand, now clenched in a nice fist.
Now the real fight would begin.

As the distance closed between the two, a Giant carnivorous Plant made it's move, trying to grab onto one of the boys, now that they were close together, it felt that it could satiate it's hunger on one of them. A giant Wasp seems to be circling the sky nearby, and the sounds of buzzing and little legs seem to be everywhere among the rustling leaves.

With closed eyes and a narrowed perception of everything that was going on around him, Keto prepared for that physical rush to approach him from Toru. He hoped so much that his opponent would be foolish enough to give away his position and give him a small window of opportunity to strike him down in a rush of moves that he would apply as if he was a train. He would not succumb to his abilities anymore, and he was aiming to not allow him to manage to get out of his sight to be able to sneak him with moves anymore. Sure he could use kawarimi again, and possibly initiate the ever so popular shunshin, but if he was able to do so he would have to do it as fast as he possibly could because this kirigakure ninja was in sync to fight and give everybody what they wanted, amazing shinobi at their best.
Nearby to Keto it would seem that his opponent was giving more of an opening than he expected. His ears could hear a nasty slobbering like sound with a few snarls as if his opponent had mutated. Quickly Keto abandoned the no sight treatment and his eyes flew open like it was going to be his last sight ever when compared to the things he was hearing close to him. Fortunately for him, it was a good thing for him to hear the sound because it gave him an opportunity to not be gunned down by the incoming projectiles flung by Toru at three different places at one time. They swiftly came from Toru as he moved like a chameleon along the foliage. He sold no sound to Keto’s ears, but that did not stop him from making a deadly accurate move his short opponent. Keto’s only choice was to evade the attack.
As three spinning shuriken came for his body, Keto had just as much of a chance to dodge the attack as Toru had of landing it, but what was the vicious sound he heard before Toru came into his line of sight and made it a thing of the past that would not be easily forgotten? Keto snapped his entire body backwards while keeping his posture and allowing them to come in one after another to thump into the ground that they fought on. Just what Keto’s intentions were, his opponent prepared to come in and follow-up on his distraction but whipping out some pretty nifty nunchaku. With the pigmented brown skin upon them, it was clear that they were the standard issue set provided to beat a person in, out, and whatever other way the user intended. This was a brutal weapon to use as they were equivalent to limbs of the body, but they could not feel the pain of hits, and they could be used rather diversely in different combos.
Keto bent his knees slightly while awaiting his opponent to come forward and pass his blow to Keto. It took little time for the gap to be closed, but after all of the taunts that Toru did, the same was applied to the thing that went bump in the night while stalking Keto. The snarl came back and Keto’s eyes strained even wider as he peered to his right from the eerie sound that was much louder and now coming for him with a gaped mouth filled with bristles that looked like teeth when compared to the mouth of a human. They were long and keto was sure of two things. The first thing was that he knew that they would waste no time in crushing him for dinner. The second thing he knew was that the Venus Humantrap was not going to taste him at this moment. Both the nunchaku and the mouth came at the same time and almost instantly, Keto was down crouching so low that even the strike intended for his waist failed to hit him with his accelerated speed enhanced from a shunshin to do something spectacular.
Down low and at a strategic position, Keto kicked up his left leg in excitement while not only aiming for the nunchaku sailing above him, but the moving plant life that was stalking him. He really did not intend to hit the weapon used by Toru, but he was not going to sway his strike when it was best to hit direct into the thing that pursued him like pray with his shadow dance technique. He aimed to literally knock water from the overgrown plant and send it out of his way, but after hitting the thing, Keto knew that it would take more than one hit, so he spun a little and pushed upwards with all of his strength to not kick once, but kick as many times as he could, and go as high as he could to uproot the plant and give it future reference to not embark on a journey to kill him ever again. A buzzing sound could also be heard as he kicked and kicked, but Keto prayed that it was only the crunching of vegetation because another creepy crawler intended for him would prove to be maybe too much.

Toru watched as the huge beast of a plant appeared. He was shocked at what could come from this forest, but didn't let him ware him out, instead continuing for Keto. However Keto had dodged his attacks, the plant, and was now fighting the plant. Toru smiled, this would work fine. Though it may not be the most honorable, Toru thought this was the perfect opening. While Keto was busy with the plant, Toru would be able to attack the open Keto. So He smiled as he thought of the moves that would come.
He ran forward and tried to dropkick Keto, who had been kicking the plant. after that, he would roll backwards and kick off the ground to get back to his standing position, next to his opponent. He would then attempt several quick strikes to Keto's head with the nunchaku, four to be exact. Then those would be followed by a low uppercut to the chest. After all of this he would finally look up to see if he could find out what the annoying buzzing sound was and would see the giant insect, only to look back to his opponent and nod.

Keto was only trying to focus on the carnivorous plant for a little amount of time, but he did not know why he was placing his guard down in order to strike the thing that attacked him. He could have used it as more of a distraction instead of dismantling it into the regular not alive plants that he so much enjoyed to see. To dismay, his opponent was not to show any gratitude for discharging the plant. Keto did not expect it, but he did not expect what was to come next either. While in the middle of his kicks that distracted him from Toru, he then found himself being eagerly taken advantage of just as he had just done. From blindside came the feet of Toru to his side. It was an unorthodox attack and not really ever seen by him before. He knew of the dropkick, but unless it was used in the situation that Toru did, it was really a double-edged sword with the angle that it was engaged.
Keto took the strike head on, but because they were so close it was really like that average kick to him. It had very little momentum because of the close range of the attack. Keto cringed from the contact and fell from his attack into the ground. The plant continue to fly off into the distance and Keto hoped that it would not come back as he spotted the action and rolled across the ground by his shoulders to snap back to his feet in his Gouken fighting style. He was ready to continue, even while looking at the swarm of insects above them. With first glance, Tori was going to attempt a shot at watching multiple disadvantages pitted against him, but then he realized hat he had just been outmaneuvered because of the same coincident. The bugs could be attended to in time and were only proving to be a nuisance at the moment since they hadn’t attacked yet. He focused full attention on Toru.
Just in time, his eyes went forward to Toru as he charged in for more of that old school taijutsu. The nunchaku were thought of as just an extra limb, so Keto wondered one it actually stronger than his natural born limbs raised to endure through sweat and hard work. The wood that formed the base of the weapon held by Toru was a part of nature. It did not work for its structure, and with that grudge against the inanimate object, his stance went into a perfect posture to prepare for the onslaught of attacks that were to come in his direction almost immediately from the boy that stood beside him ready to continue his attack from earlier. The weapon whipped through the air and Keto’s hand smashed forward, and the n a cycle began as the nunchaku continued to whip back and forth with consecutive strikes that Keto endured head on with regular body parts at an almost matched speed while feeling like he was not enduring much damage by blocking with fists and forearms clinched to take on and deal.
After the flurry finished in time, Tori scurried back, though his form looked like a stumble as he immediately went back into his stance with a hand behind him and another before him. Hen ever stopped moving his constant hoped away from Toru as the buzzing around them became louder and louder. Keto then was struck an idea. He smashed his hands together in a single seal that instantly changed him to the spitting image of Toru. This was when he realized the nunhaku did not have to go through the swelling that he was about to have. The one handseal was then changed into a stringed together long chain of hand seals that were about five as he aimed for Toru with his next technique while whispering, “Suikoudan no Jutsu” He forced extra chakra into his technique as he then changed the angle of the attack and aimed it for the biggest bug above them while making sure to move into the open as he shot the image of a shark towards the insect and make him think that Toru did it, that was if it actually had a conscience. Even if that did not work and it decided to attack them both, Keto could fend off enough of a swarm that the rest could possibly run away. After finishing his technique, Keto disappeared into a shunshin no jutsu at another part of the arena. It was actually a hollowed tree he saw beside the plant that attacked him earlier. He was small to fit in it, and it was good cover.

Toru watched as hits attacks were all taken head on. He however hadn't expected for him to be able to react that well to it. He barely stumbled and then set Toru up to be eaten alive by the huge insects in the sky. Toru was amazed, Keto was a genius. Toru quickly turned into Keto, to try to hide his presence from the bugs, but decided to finish what Keto had started. He threw a fuuma shruiken up into the crowd of insects and then waved to show where he was. Toru had given up hope really, he knew he'd lost, but he'd go out with fun.
After guessing he'd gotten the bugs attention he quickly turned into the proctor, hiding his presence within the leaves, he would again wait. To see what would happen. _________________

The proctor appeared again, and the forest calmed, all the creatures and plants went back into hiding. "The Match is over, the winner is Keto Satsujinki, Please return to the waiting area, for further instructions." at that , the proctor disappeared again into the leaves, leaving all to wonder if he was still there or not.
