Description: A skill that every self-respecting shinobi must have. It is based on concentrating chakra to the soles of one's feet and using it to stick to objects, which would allow one to walk on vertical surfaces and even upside down. This is also often used as chakra control training, since the soles of the feet are said to be the hardest place to control your chakra.

It was mid-day, and Kei was wondering through the wind country (he thought it would be best to train here). Kei was writing down some things that were running through his mind, as he could not bear to think about them any longer. As he was writing, he suddenly forgot what he was doing in the wind country to begin with. "uhh..." He said aloud as he thought,"AHA!My tree climbing technique! I need to practice...in...this place?" He said confused, there were no trees, trees were a necessity for this technique, or a straight surface sticking upwards. So he began to look around to see if there were any old ruins where he could practice this technique using old pillars, or walls.

Kei searched for about an hour, when he finally saw something large that was sticking out of the ground in the horizon. "AHA!" He said as he began to run towards the object, his hiori blowing epiccly in the wind. "OW!damn, why does the sand have to blow so hard?" He said as he drew nearer to the object. "Hmm..what's this?" He said when he finally reached his target,"looks to be an old watch tower or something like that..." He said as he examined it, and layed his hands on it to test it's durability. "Seems perfect! Now, let's begin.." And he pulled out a scroll from his pocket on the inside of his hiori. He read it aloud as he opened it.

"Step one: Focus your chakra to the souls of your feet." He looked down at his feet,"Seems easy enough :\ " He looked at the scroll again,"Step two: Place foot on surface and keep your chakra controlled to the souls of your feet. This will cause you to stick to the surface."
He looked at the surface of the old watchtower, and then back at his feet. He closed the scroll and placed it back into his hiori. "well...Guess I should begin." He said slapping his hands together and rubbing them. He placed his arms out in front of him, and began to focus his chakra to the bottoms of his feet. "OW!Why does the sand have to blow so hard?" He said, loosing his concentration,"UGH!okay, back to training!" And he placed his arms out in front of him again, and focused hard.

As he focused, he noticed that hi feet began to tingle,"Is this from excitement?or is it just because my feet are falling asleep?" He thought, maybe he needed a break. No, he had to keep on trying,"maybe it's time?" He said as he opened his eyes and lifted his tingly right foot on the round wall of the watchtower. He placed it upon the surface, his foot tingling a little more,"Hmm...Let's try the other foot." He placed his other foot up on the wall, and as he did, he lost control, and the chakra in his feet disbursed causing him to fall on his back. "DAMN IT!!" He yelled, slamming his fists into the sand, getting him all sandy. "eewww!" he said, wiping the sand off.

"Okay!Time to get real!" He said standing back up. He placed his hands together, creating the "KA" symbol for concentration better. "focus....Focus..." He said as he breathed, he could feel his chakra flowing throughout his body... It was weird. He focused even more, following his chakra flow down to his feet in his mind. "Now...Focus...On that...for just a...bit more" He thought to himself between inhales and exhales. A tingling sensation came back, he remained to stay focused on getting his chakra to stay on his souls. He focused hard and well, untill the tingling sensation turned into a warm, burning sensation. "this is it!" he thought, opening his eyes, and focusing on the surface of the wall.

Kei placed his foot on the wall, the burning sensation grew, he knew he had more chakra flow in his souls this time then he did lat time. "I can do it, I know I can." He thought as he kept his foot on the wall, he knew it was stuck there, so he placed his other foot on the wall as well. As he did, he closed his eyes to brace himself from falling again...But he didn't fall, he remained on the wall. "OH, ALRIGHT!!" He said to himself as he stood horizontally on the wall.

This is it, he was learning faster than what he recollected. "maybe I should try walking up?" He said with his arms crossed. He lifted his right foot up, and up the wall a little ways, then placed it on the wall. He felt the same burning sensation he did before, and tried to lift his other foot up. But as he did, the chakra in the soul of his left foot transferred to his right foot, leaving none in his left foot. As he placed it on the wall, he thought it was stuck there, so he lifted his right foot to take another step, but as he did, he fell hard on the ground below him. "Damn it all!" He yelled, remembering not to get his fists sandy this time, and kept his arms crossed. "How much more do i need to focus?" He said, then he quickly realized that he needed to keep his focus while walking after he had successfully stayed parallel with the horizon.

Kei stood back up and wiped the sand off the back of his clothes. He took off his hiori (as it was getting too hot for him) and placed it in the least windy area, so that it would not blow away. To ensure it's position, he placed both his kunai and shuriken pouches on top of it, the weight would keep it maintained there.

"Okay, let's do it again." He thought to himself, he placed his hands together in the "KA" position again (it seemed to work last time), and focused on his chakra getting to the souls of his feet. He focused even harder, leaving more chakra to flow to the bottoms of his feet. The burning sensation returned, and this time he kept focusing, he wanted to last longer on the wall. The burning sensation grew, letting him know that he was ready this time.

Kei opened his eyes and placed both feet up rather gracefully on the wall (as if he were just casually walking along the ground), and stayed horizontally on the wall. He placed his hands back in the "KA" formation, and began focusing on his chakra again. The flow of chakra was rushing throughout his body, he was stressing himself. But he needed to learn this to gain his place among other great ninja. "Let's try again..." He said, opening his eyes, and placing his other foot in front of the right. It stayed fixed in that position, and he lifted his other foot, and placed it in front of his left. He did it! the technique worked! Kei smiled as he stayed horizontal on the wall.

Kei took more steps up the wall, he couldn't believe he had done it!he was WALKING up a wall! "man! I wish I would've learned this sooner." He said to himself, he reminisced about his past, but then shook the thought, he had no need to dwell upon the past. He took another step, and then another, up the wall. He then got the idea to try to run, so he quickened his pace and began moving faster up the wall. He placed his arms behind him to create better aero dynamics so that he could run faster. As he ran, he drew closer to the peak of the tower, and once he had reached the top, he jumped and did a forward summersault, landing on the top of the watchtower. "HA!YEAH! I DID IT!" He yelled out, a few passing merchants stared at him, they merely stared at him with confusion. Kei was embarrassed, he jumped down from the tower and put his pouches back on, along with his hiori.

He walked on by, his mind was leading him towards the land of fire again, but why?
"OW!WHY DOES THE SAND HAVE TO BLOW SO FREAKING HARD?!"
