Ari Phoenix

She walked the village, she didn't know where the kazekage was, but she knew that he would be wandering, as she recalled. She knew that she went to konoha on his approval, though that was years ago. She had missed her wings, because if she had had them, she could have gotten back to Suna that much quicker. She thought about who all to go visit first. She could go seek out Ayame if she was here, or she could seek out her Sensei, she'd need someone who could stick up for her in front of the Kazekage. She also thought about waiting for Noah, he would work well as a person to stand up for her. She decided though, until she got one of those to speak up for her, she wouldn't allow them to know she was there.

She walked down the streets, getting stares from people, studying her body and her overall demeanor. She didn't think much of it, as she passed the ruins of a building that had the symbol of the crane on it. She didn't even pay attention to it, as her mind wondered if she had any family left in this village. She stopped by an old Fountain, and realized, that there was something about this place that put her at ease, she sat down, and looked at the water with one side of her vision, as she studied the rest of the village. She was home.

I sigh and walk down the streets of Suna her mind not really there. I smiled and looked down as Sai mewed at my feet "what Sai you hungry again?" I sigh and rub my forehead slightly "I have a slight headache Sai I'll feed you in a little bit ok?" I lean against a wall pulling a ribbon out of my bag and tying my hair up. Sai mews and rubs against my legs then walks over to a Fountain and jumps on to the edge and starts lapping up the water. I push off the wall and look around noticing Sai's missing Oh my god where did she go I bit my lip and start walking quickly down the road looking for her. Sai sits on the Fountain watching bugs flying over it, she crouches down and leaps at a bug she misses and falls in to the Fountain. She mews and cries splashing in the Fountain I turn around and rush over to her leaning over the Fountain pulling her out "my god Sai what where you thinking, you saw something didn't you?" I hug her to me ignoring that shes wet and cry in to her fur "please, don't do that again Sai I can't lose you." I cry harder Sai licking the side of my neck.

"Losing those close to you, is never easy, though I wouldn't know that directly." the tall woman next to the pair spoke, her black hair showing crimson under the sun. She stood up, and turned around to face the two. "Though your kitten felt like it would be fun to leap with out looking at a bug." She spoke with a smile, her green eyes soft, as she pulled out a cloth and handed it to the younger girl. She didn't really know why, but something about her, seemed familiar to the chuunin.
"I hope I'm not intruding, but you seem like you need some friends." She added, looking softly at the girl, a small smile on her face. She laid her sword down next to the fountain, as she looked back over the water, letting herself glimpse her reflection. She then caused a small wind to flow over the water, causing the surface to ripple playfully, as she waited for the girl to reply.

She enjoyed the feeling of the breeze, and allowed it to sooth her. "It has been too long, since I have last been here." She whispered, if to the wind itself. She stared at the girl and her cat, and wondered just what all this girl was thinking, and wondered if there was a way that she herself could help out.

Losing those close to you, is never easy, though I wouldn't know that directly. I look up at the sound of the voice holding Sai to me tightly nodding slightly. Though your kitten felt like it would be fun to leap with out looking at a bug? "I guess she's still a little young and bores easily" I smile faintly taking to cloth she handed me and wrapped Sai in it. I hope I'm not intruding, but you seem like you need some friends? I tilt my head slightly do I really look that alone? I sigh and set Sai on the ground and try to dry her off. I smile laughing slightly mumbling to myself "maybe I do look that alone but any orphan would look very much alone" I sigh as Sai mews at me as if tiring to say sorry for falling in the fountain. I smile and look up at girl the sun light reflecting off my glasses "no miss you're not intruding, I really don't have any friends but Sai she's been with me for a few years now"

Shizuka smiled at the girls answers, as she thought about what she could do, and what she could teach. "You are a Shinobi, ne?" She asked, looking at the girl, though they hadn't traded names yet, she felt that the girl could use some friendly activity. She felt a soft warmth about herself, one that she didn't feel all that often, when she was normally being nice, maybe it was just the Suna weather. "I am a Shinobi, a wind dancer, you may call me Shizuka, I am sorry for not introducing myself earlier." She spoke, her green eyes alight with the light of the sun, shining like twin emeralds in her eye sockets. She looked a little pale, but that was just how she was, she never really gained much color, being a vampiress had kept her from gaining much color in the first place.

She then got a wild idea, and jumped into the fountain, using Suimen no waza to stand on the water. "refreshing, and I don't get my clothing wet." The young woman laughed as she stood there, looking back at the girl, not sure why, but she felt a surge of emotions here, from sadness, to happiness, fear, and anger. She suddenly looked a little less happy, and leapt back onto the ground. "How about we head to get some food, though I'll have to figure out some way to pay, I have been broke since I left the place I was staying at before." she chuckled with a sweatdrop, but she realized she still hadn't really eaten since she had fed the pregnant girl back in Konoha.

You are a Shinobi, ne? I smile slightly hanging my head a little "I guess I am, I'm still new at everything being an orphan really didn't give me a chance to learn anything." a wind dancer? "so you control the wind? so to speak." I smile and pet Sai's head "o right you're hungry Sai" I open my bag and pull out the plate and milk. I pour the lat bit of milk in to the plate and give it to Sai Shizuka? that name sounds slightly familiar hm I chuckle as Shizuka jumps in the fountain and hover over the water "thats really cool Shizuka thats one of your jutsu's right?" I smile as Sai rubs against my arm "oh you're done you feel better now?" I smile and put the bottle and plate back in my bag. I pet Sai hearing my stomach growling slightly "hm, food does sound good but as you said how are we going to get it?" I smile slightly

As Shizuka was about to answer, she noticed some Shinobi in the shadows. She sighed, and handed the girl her wallet, it had a few Ryo, she hoped enough for food for her. She looked at her. "It is nice to meet you, try your best to become a Splendid Kunoichi, and maybe we'll meet again, alright." Shizuka spoke with much sadness, as she started running, before using Sunshin to dissapear, and reappear feet away, before doing it again. She really would miss Suna, but as the Ninja came close, she smiled. "I hope you guys can keep up, I'm not as slow as I seem." She challenged, as she dissapeared once more, using the Sand to hide her movement. She wouldn't allow them to know that she had been there for searching for her friends, and finding clues about her family.

She dissapeared once more, and appeared near the gate, before running down the way.

I blink at Shizuka as she hands me her wallet "what why are you giving me it?" Sai hisses slightly her hackles riseing slightly. It is nice to meet you, try your best to become a Splendid Kunoichi? Maybe we'll meet again, alright "whats wrong whats going on?" I look around as Shizuka runs down the street and diaper. I sigh and look at the wallet in my hand "I'll have to find her, to return this to her it wouldn't be fair for me to keep it, would it Sai." Sai looks at me mewing "i know Sai, I know she gave it to me for food but still, I feel bad" I shift as my stomach growls "ok, ok I'll get food" I sigh and put the wallet in my bag grab Sai and start for the gate heading to a place I know I can find food for cheap.
