The frigid water of the western coast splashed against her knees, soaked her shins and chilled her feet where the swirling mud-sand pooled and molded to her feet. Cold, a deathly touch to all except her, who breathed in the ice-flaked air as if it were a crisp morning. The breeze, wafting up from the ocean, licked her tender sore. It was often on the cramped boat that her wound would swell, and after weeks of the dry heat the humid wetness felt sensational.

She waded out towards the shore, watching as the sun beaded its way through the grey-dusted clouds above. Every once in a while, a splash of light would break through, illuminating the waters below in a heavenly glow. She dragged herself on shore, soggy clothing leaving trails along the fine sand.

" Gorgeous," She breathed.

Katsuo was walking along the beach, right along the edge of the water. He was talking with Fugawa Sako as he walked. As he walked he sensed someone, a woman. He felt like he knew her, like someone that was famous that had come from his village. He just kept walking though, taking in the beauty of the coast, as he did.

Then his eyes caught the woman. He realized why he felt he knew her, she was actually pretty famous. Especially in Kirigakure, where she was from. The problem however, was that her reputation was pretty bad. As he walked he continued looking at her, until finally he was only a meter away.

Hello Syra, what brings you around here today? He asked, his eyes shining in the sun light. Fugawa could wait, for this second at least. He had a bad feeling in his gut.

" It's been a long time, I'm surprised anyone recognizes me," She said, her smile bright. She did not recognize the shinobi before her but he was wearing the robes of the Mizukage. The rumours had proven true; Tai was gone - and her reputation preceded her.

She took off her jacket and laid it against a large stone, jutting through the earth and pointing towards the sky. The sky was growing clear, clouds being seared through by the intense rays of the sun. The wind, a light breeze, was already beginning the cycle. She stared deep into her eyes; he was so much alike to Tai. More courage, perhaps. More backbone.

" I don't believe we've met. I'm Syra Vechalia Ozanaru, leader of the Ozanaru Clan but you already know that."

OOC: I asked Fegte if I could join cause I need to discuss important things with him and he said he would be tied up here for a while. I assume its fine since you didn't designate private, and it wil lbe a cool chance for me to meet your character too =)

Just earlier that day, Sako had entered the Mist village with the hopes of speaking to the Mizukage. Though this was his first encounter with the kage, he knew him to be an associate of his master, who had mysteriously dissappeared from Sako's own forms of contact. As the village shinobi, who had become friends of Sako's during his many visits to the mist village, and pointed Sako to the coast when he inquired where the Mizukage may be. On his way there, he had met with the kage, who was taking a long stroll on the sandy beach.
" Mizukage-san, I am Fugawa Sako, underling of Zeuss of Fairy Tail." Smiling widely as he introduced himself, Sako scratched the back of his head. " If I may have a moment of your time, I'd like to talk about the dissappearance of Mist... I mean Zeuss. My Ring has been unable to call him, and I fear he has gone into recluse. While I held no true bond to him, for he chose to remain mysterious at most times, I still follow a similar goal as he preached, and wish to help the ninja world obtain true peace." As he spoke these words to the mizukage, he realized he was trying to sound formal, and decided to take a more casual approach, for in Fairy Tail, they were equals.
" Anyways, Fairy Tail is pretty much a lost cause, however I still wish to help people, so I wanted to meet you, who supposedly has the same goals as myself.
As they continued up the beach talking, trading words and continuing introductions, Sako began to get a feel for the type of character and personality that Katsuo had. Just as their stroll was becoming a tad bit long, he noticed Katsuo's attention turn to a mysterious woman who he himself did not know.

Katsuo smiled as Syra introduced herself. Katsuo Norimune. He said, he pulled the walking stick out of it's small sheath from his back, resting it on the ground. A bit young to need pone, but I've always thought it looked nice, and it does become handy at times. He said, kissing the small Seion walking stick. It came in handle for infinite things, from walking, to climbing, to defense, to offense. So, what are you doing out here? Observing this one of a kind, beautiful coast? He said, asking what pretty much seemed obvious.

" Observing? No, I just came out of it. I just came from the continent. I had a lot of business to attend to... But I've returned." She stared out into the forest beyond them. This was but a mile from where she and Katsuga first fought for the leadership of Kirigakure No Sato. They were so young, such fools - thinking such things could be decided by combat prowess. And yet, it wasn't decided by combat. She decided it; the resemblance of her people.

" The mist is always renewed, every morning. Do you think it's a different mist, or the same one from before, merely refreshed?"

Katsuo nodded as Syra explained, then asking a question of her own. Neither. This is the same mist that has hung in the region here since its creation. It is the cover and lifeblood of the village, the symbol for which the village of the mist claim the name of the most subtle shinobi known in the land. As long as I live and as long as this village thrives, I will make certain that this mist and its teachings remain a cultural and traditional part of this great village He answered seriously. He smiled as he hit his walking stick to the ground, causing a small hole in the ground. The time for my villagers to respond, is less than the time for this hole to fill with water. He said, watching as a small tide came up and filled the hole, proving his point. It was only regular though, they were on the water's edge. He smiled, as he pointing to it with his cane/walking stick. Suddenly Katsuo remembered something, he had a meeting in just a second. He quiockly formed handseals, disappearing in a flurry of mist, the word Sorry was heard as he disappeared.

The two figures made conversation in a tone Sako recognized to be filled somewhat with uncomfort. The medical ninja raised his right hand to his face and straightened his glasses, pulling his left hand free of his pocket. The interactions between the mizukage and the other girl were boring him, who was only here to talk of forming a new and more effective organization bent on serving true justice. Yet as a respectful person, Sako waited his turn to speak with the kage, instead simply observing the matter at hand. His pet ninja, the cobra known as Sune, slithered up his leg, causing him to giggle at the tickling sensation. He straightened his face quickly however, hoping to appear serious.

As Katsuo began to leave, Sako followed quickly, waving goodbye to the girl.

" So, what do you think?" Syra asked, the sand settling amongst its brethren once more. The shadows, born from the trees dotting the beach, appeared from the branches and slid out into corporeal form.

" Don't know." The creature slithered along the greyed beach towards her.

" Neither do I," She responded, " But I don't think he'll relinquish power as easily as Tai would have. I'll have to work harder, especially without any bloodshed."

His face drooped. " No bloodshed?"

" None." Her eyes were cold, icicles ready to pierce his heart and how easy they could.

" Shall we return to the clan house?"

" No. I think we should visit the village council first, and make a deposit at the shinobi records. Prepare a few techniques."

His growing smile displayed a hint of hunger; blood might not be spilled, but danger was abroad. Danger that this dark demon desired and hungered for, to be quenched of his chaotic nature. For a moment to bend the rules, that was the ideal of the demons. He returned gaze to Syra, only to see the same smile mirrored in her white teeth. It frightened him.
