Ryo had gripped Mashimizu with the whip of water nd it was time to yank back now. He pulled on the whip and pulled one leg out from under him, trying to make him fall and mess up the jutsu. He saw as the electric current was being made and how he was grabbing for Mizukami. He instinctively knew to get back, far. He unformed his whip and handsealed, saying to himself, "Shunshin!" He dissipated in a large mass of mist as the electricity came at him. He put his blade back into the massive strap on his back and crouched down a little, still standing wide leggedly with his arms curved to the side a little. He bounced around a little, hyping himself up. He handsealed one more time, forcing chakra out into the air, making a thick mist around the area where neither combatant would be able to see.

OOC: Amegaki.... God mod is NOT ok. He jumped over your whip and landed in front of you but, YOU said it grabbed him AND you pulled his leg out from under him. If that's the case, within the time frame. You would of been grabbed by Mashimizu's whip and electrocuted.

Mashimizu did his best to avoid Ryo's counter attacks. But he had already lost his footing due to the whip wrapped around his leg. Thankfully, the lightning jutsu had worked and shot off towards Ryo. Unsurprisingly Ryo had dodged and back far away from Mashimizu. Mashimizu was about to fire another lightning attack when he noticed Ryo's head seals. They had been the same one's Meizu had used that. Hidden Mist.. He told himself. He would have to play it safe now, thinking as the mist rolled in. He could barely see now, searching for dark spots in the mist that could be Ryo. He wasn't going to take any chances so he performed one of his favorite jutsus. After he did the quick head seals, the two water clones appeared by his side, waiting for the next attack. As he did, he focused his chakra to be ready to use a certain jutsu...

The clone stayed crouched, moving in the mist unnoticedly around to the back of Mashimizu, or what he thought to be real. Ryo stayed at a distance, keeping in check of his clone, but not staying close enough to see much action. Ryo saw as another Mashimizu wandered helplessly through the mist and he smiled evilly, keeping his distance from the Mashimizu he had attacked earlier. He crept over to the Mashimizu and stayed crouched behind the veils of mist he had created. When he was close enough to attack, he hand sealed and formed a whip of water silently, slinging it to the Mashimizu's legs. He was going to try and take him out silently, so that he wouldn't even know what happened. The clone, meanwhile, continued moving around the one he attacked, he was keeping himself out of his sight while he set traps. He tied a length of wire around a tree to another tree making a trip wire. He fastened his blade to a tree and tied the wire to the hilt to make it swing when the wire was tripped. He skillfully spun down shuriken to reflect the light, then threw about three of them in Mashimizus direction.

This was getting annoying. He could barely see anything and he was being attacked from all sides. One of his clones was barely in Mashimizu's sight. However all he could make out was a slight shadow which he watched while still paying attention to his surroundings at the same time. Finally he saw the shadow fall to the ground and it was gone. Mashimizu could finally conclude that Ryo had turned himself into the mist. And it wasn't far fetched that he had a clone too. Well... guess there's only one way to get him out of this mist. He thought with a confident smile. As he did a few hand seals, he was interrupted by three shuriken that barely dodged, and then continued the rest of the hand seals. Out of nowhere, a massive pillar of water appeared around him. then it burst out in all directions, send water crashing through the trees. If he couldn't see Ryo in this mist, he would force him out of it. As soon as he made the pillar of water, Mashimizu did a few more hand seals and charged his lightning chakra through his body. Meanwhile his clone, who was scouting up in a tree, jumped down next to Mashimizu and hid behind the pillar of water that hadn't dispersed just yet. As the water spread out, all that remained was Mashimizu and his kunai.

Name: Suiton: Suishouha - Water Collision Destruction
Type: Ninjutsu

Requirements: Water as first element
Description: After the user forms the required hand seals, a massive amount of water will appear out of nowhere around them. This water can then be controlled by the user to some extent, but is mainly used to alter the battlefield and as a set-up for other water element techniques. This ninjutsu is very close to Baku Suishouha, the only two differences being much faster execution and strong affinity to water element required to do it.
Ryo felt an odd silence as the clone he was attacking retreated, going back to Mashimizu. Ryo looked around, feeling chakra build up, then there was a silence. He looked around, seeing the three sillhouettes in the same place. He looked around seeing a density in the water, like a pillar. Ryo looked at it and saw that it was a pillar, ready to explode. He formed himself and started turning around sprinting away. As he ran, he heard a loud explosion and knew what it was. The water was comi towards him and from the looks of it, there was only one chance to escape it. He hand sealed as he ran, messing the seals up and turning around as he sprinted. He knew he messed up and ran harder, the thudding of each step made it a little tough to get the seals, but just as the wave was on him, he managed to get the jutsu off, he stopped running, turning around, and was hit by the wave of water, bursting into mist as it collided with him. He reappeared in the open after the wave had been done and looked over to see his clone, just now turning into mist after giving him a thumbs up. Ryo looked over at Mashimizu, saying, Nice job conserving your chakra. Just because the limit is gone, doesn't mean we should kill ourselves with High ranked jutsu. Ryo unsheathed his blade once again, hearing as it made a cry out, as if it was saying it was ready. Mizukami talked to him a bit, saying, Ryo, It's time to finish this. Ryo was already ahead of him. Mashimizu was out of breath, he had used up a lot of his chakra already. But Ryo wasn't done. After the wave dissipated, Ryo found the opening and charged at Mashimizu, sword in hand. Mashimizu held the kunai up, it was now or never. He let out a yell and dashed at Ryo, this had to be it. This had to be the end. Ryo slashed downwards and Mashimizu did his best to dodge but the sword scrape his arm, shaving off a bit of skin. Suddenly, a Jonin appeared out of nowhere between them and stopped their movements. "The exams are over. Please head to the award ceremony." He said. Mashimizu put the kunai in his pocket and bowed to Ryo, "That was a good fight." He said respectfully and then walked away.
Ryo watched as his blade faield to connect and as Mashimizu was about to retaliate, a Jounin came between the two, talking aout the ending of the exams. As he heard this, they both bowed calmly and lifted their heads. Ryo said to Mashimizu, Yeah, I hope we both get a good scored, good luck. He blinked once and then hand sealed,, walking away from the area and suddenly exploding in a puff of blue mist. The area was left silent after the two made their leave, making the damaged battleground look like a murdered ghost town, Ryo had seen the extent of his power and he had seen the extent of Mashimizus aswell. He hoped his lack of interest in the begining didn't change his grade.
