Below is a list of special abilities given in alphabetic order. Special abilities are highly uncommon techniques or skills necessary to use them. To get a special ability, you must post a request in "Character Plots" forum, saying which ability you want. An admin will then look over it and decide if you can have it or not, and probably special conditions for you to have it.
The special abilities in the list below are customs made by some of our members, remastered for general use.

Name: Fruits of Hard Work
Requirements: Specialized style, must not have "True Genius", 5-point training
Description: All people are born with different. They have different looks, different intelligence and different skills. However, in every generation, there are always a few people who stand out. Not only are they more skilled than the average person, everything seems to come naturally to them. Of course, the world of shinobi is no different in this way: there are average people, failures and geniuses. Those not especially talented, however, have to work hard every day to hope to match people who are gifted by nature. Focusing on one skill, with enough hard work, they can surpass even the greatest geniuses in that area.
This ability removes the secondary style someone may have in exchange for greater mastery of their specialized skill. People with bloodline do not have a secondary style, and instead lose the privilege of learning bloodline jutsu as if their skill in that field was one step higher. In return, their skills in their focus ability grows considerably: 10% strength, speed, agility and stamina for taijutsu; 30% chakra pool, 15% hand seal speed and 5% chakra control for ninjutsu; 10% chakra pool and hand seal speed and 25% chakra control for genjutsu; 5% chakra pool and hand seal speed and 50% chakra control for ijutsu; 5% chakra pool and 20% chakra control for puppetry; 10% chakra pool and 20% hand seal speed and chakra control for fuuinjutsu.

Name: Spartan Will
Requirements: At least Tai Major, Must know 5 Taijutsu
Description: Spartan Will is extreme conditioning of the body. Due to this conditioning, a user with this ability is significantly stronger and faster than the average ninja of their rank. This is automatically learned upon gaining the 4th technique as the body has sufficiently been trained for the strain.

Name: Temperature Manipulation
Requirements: 6-point kinjutsu training; 2-point kinjutsu training
Description: An ability alternative to the commonly seen chakra nature manipulations, or rather, a whole new type of manipulation. Instead of utilizing elemental nature, the user will convert their chakra into heat energy, which basically allows them to manipulate temperature. Interestingly, actually creating cold is possible with this. While the results of this ability may be similar to some elemental ninjutsu, their nature is completely different, so they follow the rules of physics rather than those of chakra natures. This ability has two parts: creating heat or cold, in other words, a positive or a negative amount of energy. However, the vastly different way of using chakra involved in this ability makes one who utilizes it unable to do the more common element manipulations. Training is usually broken up in two parts: first, mastering the ability to use one's chakra in such a way, along with being able to create either heat or cold, and then adding the other technique onto it. However, each one takes away the ninja's ability to manipulate an element, so many users of this ability prefer to limit themselves to only half of it and keeping a nature manipulation ability. Despite all that, all this ability does by itself is allow one to use unique techniques related to temperature manipulation.

Name: Master's Touch
Requirements: N/A
Description: Either through diligent training or an in born knack, many individuals show unrivaled power with a single type of weapon. This special ability allows you to fight with a single type of weapon as if your taijutsu fighting style was one higher. This doesn't let you learn taijutsu you wouldn't be able to, though it may allow you to learn a style you couldn't. This can be taken once for three different weapons, or twice for one weapon. Alternatively, if you have a special weapon that has multiple forms or uses, it only applies to that weapon rather than all weapon of it's type.

Name: True Genius
Requirements: A bloodline, must not have "Fruits of Hard Work", 5-point training
Description: All people are born with different. They have different looks, different intelligence and different skills. However, in every generation, there are always a few people who stand out. Not only are they more skilled than the average person, everything seems to come naturally to them. Of course, the world of shinobi is no different in this way: there are average people, failures and geniuses. Those born into a bloodline, in addition to generally having greater ability than others, also receive greater gifts from nature and more often, since bloodlines are created to cultivate powerful shinobi.
With this ability, all learning requirements are reduced by 10%, and bloodline learning requirements are reduced by 20%. Minimal post reduction is 1, but the final amount of posts can't be lower than 1. Additionally, they get a boost to their focus skill: 10% stamina for taijutsu; 5% chakra pool and hand seal speed for ninjutsu; 2% chakra pool and hand seal speed and 6% chakra control for genjutsu; 10% chakra control for ijutsu; 5% charka control for puppetry; 5% hand seal speed and chakra control for fuuinjutsu.

Name: Mokuton
Requirements: 8-point training with Water or Earth, 6 with Water and Earth
Description: Created by a famous shinobi near the beginning of Konoha's creation, this combination element was lost through out the years. A few years later a small clan picked it up, but it was short lived due to the war wiping them out. While messing around one day, a skilled chuunin rediscovered the wood release on accident. Even though he only had Earth, he somehow made it work without flaw, soon mastering the skills that go along with it. Since then, the occasional shinobi would pick up the ability, and there are even clans that have certian members dedicate themselve to learning it.

This allows you to control plant-life, but direct control is a bit slower and weaker than the actual jutsu. Mokuton Henge can be learned in connection to this SA with 2-point training, and Mokuton Bunshin with 4-point training. Direct control involves extending already grown branchs and accelerating sapling's growth. However, this isn't fast enough to use in a battle really. General control becomes more effective with skill. You can make your own custom wood skills, and if you have any jutsu that changes according to applied elements you can use wood.
Note: RPC's with the Guren bloodline only need to train half the points for this SA.

Name: Youton
Requirements: 8-point training with Fire or Earth, 6 with Fire and Earth
Description: Believed to originally have been a release only available to those that contain the four tailed monkey, Youton allows the unique fusion of earth and fire chraka to form tides of lava which can seemingly burn through anything in its path. Recently this ability has appeared in non demon containers, sometimes quite uncontrollably or without any warning. While this had been rare at first, with it showing up in times of extreme stress, the incidents of this are seemingly on the rise, with numbers increasing at an extremely slow but steady rate. The reason for this is unknown, perhaps it is the spirits of the earth granting their fiery strength to who ever deserves it, or perhaps it is an old bloodline limit that is once again becoming resurgent as formerly old families inter mingle.

Youton (Lava Release) is made using Earth and Fire. Earth is weak against Lightning and strong against Water, Fire is weak against Water and strong against Wind. This means Lava is very strong against Wind (as per Fire's strength) and weak against Lightning (as per Earth's weakness) and has average effect against Water (Fires Weakness and Earths Strength) It is slightly stronger than normal against Fire and Earth, because both Fire and Earth elements are of equal nature with Fire and Earth, but their power is combined in Lava.
