(OOC: If anyone see's me doing something wrong feel free to push me in the right direction)
Name: Katon: Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Requirements: None
Description: A useful, though relatively weak, fire ninjutsu. After forming several needed hand seals, the user will exhale a series of fast fireballs. These are useful to drive an opponent into a corner, towards a certain place or simply at times when quantity is better than quality.

Ray ajusted his fore head protecter on his arm so the metal wouldn't get scorched. He took a deep breath and started going through the requiered hand symbols slowly. "Ok can't chicken out now, this is it. I need this!" Ray went through the hand symbols flawlessly then when he placed his hand to his mouth and blew. Nothing happened, not even smoke just nothing. He shook his hands and started going again; he fumbled on a few of them through pure nervesness, when he reached the last step he blew, and nothing happened again. "Do I have the wrong order or? I mean this is what it was right? Mabie I'm not concentrating my chakara correctly?"

Ray placed his hand on his back pocket and pulled out the instructions that he had written out for the jutsu. He went through them in his head memorizing the symbols. "Dang how am I supposed to remember all this while keeping my chakra in the right place?" Ray bit his finger nail. I could just lay out the instructions infront of me and read it while I do it."That might work.... Worth a shot." So he did just that laying them out and he followed the instructions. He put his hand to his mouth and took a breath out trying to blow the flame out. Ray felt a burning sensation in his whole mouth. "Oth craep!!!" He grabbed the water he had kept beside him and drank almost half of the bottle. "Getting closer...."

"Yes! We have heat! Ok I have gotta keep this up!" Ray stared down at the paper and nodded he repeted the hand symbols a little more clusmly then last time but he could feel he had his chakra control working way better. Ray placed his hand to his mouth and blew out the chakra. At first it had seemed as if nothing had happened at all but then he felt it. In the desert it was really hard to feel but their was a slight feeling of heat on his right hand. "I'm getting this! Before i know it I will be spitting out fire balls like no tommorow!" Hmmm their has got to be something missing though I can barley feel any heat.

Ray nodded and a jumped side to side a little with a smile on his face. "Alright, so well it is said that if you say the name of the jutsu while doing it the chances of it workling do increase. Ray took a deep breath then started with the hand symbols " Mythical fire Phoenix!" Ray placed his hand to his lips and blew with all his strength. A large ball of smoke appeared. It smelt like fire but their was no burning anywhere. "Well, it has to be my Chakra I'm not doing this right!" Ray sat down and started to think. "Ok well then I'll do some basic Chakra concentrating then." 4/9

Ray was still sitting still meditating. "Alright the basics!" Ray stood and made his fingers into a cross. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" Ray created three Shadow clones with no problem at all. He looked at them and nodded. "Well thats one basic easy enough." Ray rubbed his hands together "Alright, Henge no Jutsu!". All the clones transformed into a logs,the origanal Ray had untransformed and used the subbstitution jutsu on one of the clones. He made his fingers into a cross and casted them back. "If I can do those I should be able to do this!" Ray did the hand symbols "Mythical Fire Phoenix!" Out came a flame. A small flame but it was a flame. "Yes!"

Ray smiled and looked at his sheet. "Ok I've got the symbols down completely! Now to improve on molding the chakra." Ray took a breath in and started with his hand symbols not paying to much attention to see if he had any errors. "Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique!" Ray placed his right hand to his mouth and blew with everything he had. Ray felt the fire leave his mouth and go by his hand but it didn't do exactly what he wanted it to do. Instead of coming out as multipule fire balls it came out in more of a weak sloppy stream that burned out almost immediatly. He fell onto his but and layed back "I have to be able to do this!"

Ray sat up and looked forward. "This would be so much easier if I had someone to teach me this!" Ray layed back and curled his legs. With the push of his arms he got back onto his feet. "I'm strong enough to do this I am sure of it!" Ray started with his hand symbols again and molded his chakra in his chest. "Mythical Fire Phoenix!", he blew outward with all the frustration and anger learning the jutsu was giving him. In a split second as he blew he felt the fire coming out and then as it left his mouth it exploded right infront of his face and as the fire from it came to hit him he -as quickly as any E level genin could- jumped back to avoid it.

Ray layed on the ground with grayesh residue on his face from the partialy avoided explosion caused from the inbalance within his chakra when he used the technique. "Oh my lord..." Ray still layed back not moving a muscle shocked from the back fire of what had happened. Then suddenly he sat up with a smile on his face. As he got up he spoke,"A little less anger and that would have worked!".

Now standing he quickly brushed off residue from his pants. "Alright I have it now!" Ray closed his eyes and began to concentrait his chakra. He quickly did the required hand symbols and opened his eyes "Mythical Fire Phoenix!" As he blew he could feel the heat from the ball of flames as it exited his mouth. Their was only three fire balls all a little small but they were their and he knew their size was because he had used up most of his chakra training and was still holding back in fear of another accedent.

An hour or so had passed as Ray kept on trying and the majority of the time he got it almost perfect. "This time I have to get it, yea for sure on this one I know it!" Ray started on the hand symbols and made sure to keep his chakra balanced "Mythical Fire Phoenix!" He placed his hand to his mouth as he spouted out eight or nine fire balls of medium size. "I have it!" Ray smiled "One more time to make sure." As he went through the hand symbols he realized that they were starting to come to him with ease no or little thinking required. His chakra was just as easy to handle for this jutsu. "Mythical Fire Phoenix!" He blew out and eleven or twelve fire balls of of medium size launched out of his mouth. "I do have it down good...." He smiled as he stumbled forward grabbing and inspecting the scroll that had the hand symbols written on it. "That's one more down." He grinned and put it back into his pocket content with the training he had done for the day.
