Description: The water clone technique is a simple ninjutsu that creates a replication of the user with a physical body. Because it isn't purely illusionary, it can attack and use ninja techniques, just like the shinobi themselves, but it still disperses into a puddle of water when it takes a hit. The clones created by this technique only possess one tenth of the user's physical ability and chakra level and they are unable to go far from the user or utilize ninja techniques of a rank higher than C, which limits them a lot, but a smart shinobi can make a lot of use out of them. Any special weapons the user may have had on them when using this jutsu will be copied partially, losing any special qualities the original has and only having the same power as a common weapon of that type. |

Ryo walked across the water a bit bored until he thought up a plan. He had the time to learn a new technique at the moment and seeing as how he was behind on techniques, he couldn't pass it up. He took a small book out of his back pocket and put it in his hand. He opened it up and looked through the jutsu and saw a few Suiton ninjutsu. He looked at Mizu Bunshin and smiled a bit. A clone wasn't a bad idea. He needed it for later if he ever needed copies or support in a battle where he was out numbered, which happened more than he liked. He pulled his free hand out of his pocket and began sealing while forcing chakra out of his body. He was goign to try and get this in one try. Make a clone, and be done with it. He watched as the water around the bridge formed next to him into a clone of himself. He looked at it and it looked exactly like him. He had done this was alot of ease and now it was time to move to the next jutsu in the book. He had used a bit of chakra and was going to learn something easy to get back ready for something hard.

The clone next to Ryo dissipated in a splash of water and he took his book back out and looked through it to find a new jutsu. He was looking for an offensive jutsu this time and he smiled when he saw the easy D-Ranked jutsu. He looked over the name and said aloud to himself, "Mizu no Muchi - Whip of Water." Ryo put his hand down and made his chakra flow to his hand. He made the chakra extend and made a small whip from it. The water formed around it, solidifying it into a full whip. He looked at it strangely and try swinging it around. It swung with him easily and he then tried whipping it at the ground. It made a loud smacking sound as it hit and he chuckled a little. He was going to try and extend it next.

As he looked at the whip, he tried to force chakra into it. He was able to put a little bit into it and the whip started to grow in length. It grew and inch before he was unable to push more chakra into it for a second. He caught his breath as he gathered chakra again and forced it into the whip. It grew a bit longer again and he swung it around over his head. He forced it down upon the ground and it once again made a smacking sound. He laughed at it as he wiped the sweat from his own head. He flicked his hair and the water splashed on the ground. He took his chakra back from the whip trying to make it shorter and it did, making itself smaller and smaller until it was at its basic size. He made the whip dissipate and it dropped to the ground. He was going to try and learn something he needed a bit more now.

Ryo looked through his book again with his still wet hand from the whip he had made. He looked through the basics that he had neglected to learn. Now he would learn Kinobori, because he needed it and the technique that came from it. He did what the book told him to do, which was force chakra into the soles of his feet. He walked to a tree and placed his foot on it, trying to run up. His foot was pushed back extremely hard, not even allowing him to take a step. There was more to this than just putting chakra into his feet. He slid back across the ground, getting his back wet. He flicked his hair, getting the water out of it and looked at the tree.

He forced chakra into his feet once more and began running toward the tree. He stuck his foot up onto the tree and tried to run up. The foot slipped as he ran, making him slide down the tree as he ran. His first step was okay, then they got worse as he ran up the tree. He began to slowly slide down the tree as he tried to run upward. He felt his feet slipping down and he wasn't getting any closer to the top of the tree. He was sliding down ever faster, beginning to get to the bottom. He slid down the tree to an extend where he could touch the ground if he wanted to, then he fell off, from not placing enough chakra into the tree. He wasn't putting enough chakra in this time, rather than putting too much. He got up off of his bottom and walked back, setting himself up. He would do it perfect the next time.

He forced chakra into his feet and once again ran at the tree. He put his foot on the tree and began running straight up the tree. His feet stuck to the tree and he pushed up the tree with extreme speed. He expected to have forced too much or too less into the tree and was expecting to fall off. He continued running, just trying to get to the top of the tree. He passed many branches and animals and reached the top just as he was getting tired. He stood upon a small branch and looked down. He then smiled and yawned. He jumped from the tree, landing on the ground and rolling to stop the collision force. He got up and looked through his book once more. Now that he knew this, he could learn a bit more jutsu.
