He laughed at Velidina's last question, yeah, I suppose I did see it, but don't sweat it. He got up from his leaning against the tree position and walked over to Velidina. He put his hand on her shoulder before answering, Of course, I'd love to be your partner. He brought his hand down slowly. Her eyes, a beautiful red. So what shall we do now? His voice was like a whisper in a damp, dark, and soundless cave. He then looked up to the sky, it was night now. Not a cloud in the sky, just infinite stars. Each one was unable to be reached. He wished he could touch one someday, bring it home. They were so big though and so far away, looking small only because it's so far away. He looked back down to Velidina before wondering what she thought of him. He wished he could know, maybe later.

When Akio told her that she didnt' have to worry, Velidina gave a smile. They seemed to be coming out quite reguarily when she was around him- a first for her. She thought he liked her, and that was why he was so compliant, so lenient, and why he hadn't run from her yet. She silently thanked him first, but then, she spoke. "Thank you... Akio..." she said quietly. "Thank you... for everything..." Her eyes threatened to tear up again, but Velidina quickly wiped them off. "What shall we do...?" she repeated to herself. "I... don't know... Should we... train...?" she asked. That's what confused her most of all- that she felt so at ease near him, but yet, so confused...

I really can't believe no one has seen me yet...Mashimizu watched the two from a far. He had been up in tree sleeping before they had arrived. A mixure of curiosity and boredom, mostly boredom, had compelled him to listen in on their conversation. Just these two now eh? He thought to himself as he crunched into his apple. better than nothin' I guess. Mashimizu sat on a tree branch above the two characters. Yeah I know where this is going. He decided he had enough. Mashimizu finished his apple and threw the core behind him. As he stood up, the core hit a small animal which started yelping, this startled Mashimizu causing him to lose his balance and plummet to the earth. He hit the ground hard and landed only a few meters from Akio and Venlidina. Crap... he thought. "uhh...hey guys..."

Sure, But... Let's get out of here the darkness is getting boring let's head to the open plains. He said more excited than before. He stretched a bit and slowly jogged around a nearby tree several times. He remembered the open plains, nice and bright. Lots of colors, especially green and the nice warmth, here it was all dark and cold. It would also feel good to stretch his wings, that always felt great. His back had become slightly sore and his back was covered in bark dust from the tree. The back of his pants had loads of dirt on them from sitting earlier. He started wiping it off quickly, swatting like he would to a food on him. Eagle, falcon, pigeon, sparrow, crow or other? hmm... He asked himself silently before easily deciding. He transformed into a eagle and began to fly off, slow enough and low enough for Velidina to be able to see and follow though.

Velidina nodded. "Yeah, I guess so..." she complied quietly. When Akio transformed into a hawk, she made a special whistle with her fingers, and made what sounded like a call- but for what? Not too long after she whistled, a bird- a hawk as well- landed on Velidina's arm. "Shintaya, follow that hawk," she told it. The hawk on her arm nodded- or at least, that's what it looked like, and she followed her own hawk as it followed Akio. She wondered where they were going, but she trusted him to take her somewhere that was good for training. At least, she hoped he would. Even though she trusted him, at the same time, she still had her doubts about him. He seemed to be like her, but yet... something seemed off... or was that just her natural shyness creeping in?
