Several people in the crowd continuously chatter about other things besides the upcoming fights. It seems as if everyone was either afraid of the 10-tails, or about the fall of the Mizukage or ex-Hokage. There were sad times in the ninja world however, someone had to put on a smile and reassure everyone that everything will be fine. Only one person can reassure someone at the time. Yes, no one other than the current Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, Kaeor.

Really, anyone of high power would do, but since this Exam was taking place in his village, he had to be the one to say so. Everyone got quiet and looked up to the Tsuchikage's seat at the top of the stadium. They watch as a man dressed in primarily black, and with white hair arrives. He takes the stage, raising both of his hands. "I would like to thank all of you for coming to today's Jounin Exams." he says. The crowd applauds the Tsuchikage, it seems as if he was respected greatly within his home country. Even so, there were few who were angry at him because of how he seized control of the village by killing off the former Tsuchikage. However, he has been a good Kage from what it seems.

"In these worrying times of distress, people seek forms of entertainment. And today, you shall have yours. Today, from across the world, several shinobi have gathered to partake in the Jounin Exams. Those of you who do well, will become Jounin. Those who do not, will have a shot at it next year. However, I must leave now. For the rest of the day, I leave this Exam in the hands of my dear friend Brutus."

Kaeor steps back, into the darkness, and a Jounin of the village flocks down. He get's up and says, "I am Brutus" he says. "Since Tsuchikage-sama said I'm in control, I think we should have a little fun with these Exams." Several people in the crowds chatter, thinking about the sudden change in plans. "Don't worry people, the rules still apply." Brutus says. The crowd chatters a bit more, before he clears his throat and speaks again. "Instead of our normal tournament, we'll be doing something different." The crowd goes complete quiet. Everyone becoming anxious of what exactly was going to happen. "How does everyone think about a little game of Capture the Flag?"

Questions and chatters came about though, this seemed to be interesting. It was a first in the History of Jounin and Chuunin Exams to do Capture the Flag. Though, what were the rules? Turning to Brutus, everyone listened. It would be rare if he were to repeat himself. "The rule of the Exam are the same as always. No killing, and but, you may fight at full force. When a proctor stops the fight, the fight is completely done. As for the actual game, it'll be simple." Pulling out something from behind him, it is a belt with 2 flags that hung from it. He then puts them on, and both of the flags were at the his hips. "Basically, it's more like flag American Football. When you pull both of the flags, that person is automatically out of the battle. There will be Teams of two battling, and both members of the Team will have the wear the flag belts. If one person on your Team loses the both of their flags, you both are out. Once you lose a flag, you cannot pick it up. Are there any questions?"

OOC: ask questions if you have to. Once all the questions have been answered we can begin. Also, blame Lava for this being overdue but, don't blame AJ for being ill.

OOC: Lol, sure, everybody knows what "flag American football" is, considering there is no America in Naruto XD
But really, can I get some rules here? Is the point of the game just taking away enemy's flags then? And what does this mean:

@Sench: Since we are in teams of two if one is out (you have to pull both flags to get one out) then the whole team is out.

OOC: I had a cat scratching my foot when I was typing that.

Basically, if you looked at the picture link I put in the post, each person has 2 flags on their belts. Because in missions, you would want to avoid as many casualties as possible, you would want to avoid being hit by powerful attacks. In this matter, you would avoid having your flag taken from you. When you have BOTH of your flags off, you lose, and so does your team mate.

If this doesn't work for you, we could have one BIG topic, and a classic game of 5 on 5 CTF?

OOC: No, the team that beats their opponent wins and proceed as Jounin. So, four out of eight people pass.

And you win by capturing the opponents flags. Pull them off, much like how they did the Bell Test in the anime.
