Cool Tutoriall (photoshop)

Ok. This is a tutorial to make something kind of like ^^ But you can mess around with it. Personnally I like it, its defenatly not my best but oh well.

Step 1: Create a new document in photoshop, I used 400x150 and make it a whtie background.

Step 2: Grab black or press ''D'' and grab the bucket tool and fill it with black. you should now have a black canvas.

Step 3: Grab the render and put it in the sig. What I ussually do to get it the right size with squishing it is, I grab the render, I drag it into the sig, if its too big, I delete, Go back to the render file, Go to Image>Image Size and I go to the height, and lower it till I think its the right size and try it. (Note: Do not enlarge the render because it gives it bad quality, also when you change height it changes width to keep it in porportion.

Step 4: Go to layers and click on the render layer, and click ''Ctrl+J'' to duplicate it, I duplicated it about 8 times. Then make all of them invisible except for the bottom one.

Step 5: Grab the smudge tool, open special effects brush's and I used no. 45 brush, just smudge it around a little bit and then set it on linear dodge.

Step 6: Repeat step 5 except do it with the 2nd render copy and set it too color dodge.

Step 7: Repeat step 5 and 6 1 or 2 more times. It depends. You want it untill its bright in the area.

Step 8: Unhid the next render and go to Filter>Blur>Motion blur, and it at -35 (or any angle you prefer) and I set the distance to 50-100.

Step 9: Unhide the next render and set it to overlay, it should blend in a little more.

Step 10: Unhide the next render and set it to overlay.

Step 11: Make a new layer, and take the color picker and grab the main color in the smudged part, and brush over the render and smudged part and set this to overlay, it should take out the gray colors and add more color.

Step 12: This step is optional, But I made a new layer, Filled it with black and set it to overlay, It depends what kind of siggy you want, if you want a happy one you generally want it bright, but if you want a kind of evil sig or if you have an evil render like garra, do this step to make it darker.

Step 13: Grab the color of the smudge part again like in step 11, make a new layer and look for any gray areas or any area's with no color and just brush on them and set it to overlay.

Step 14: Now for the text. What I did was grab a good font, Grab the color white and write my name in the black, then I went to blending options and put:
outer glow and satin and set stroke on and put it to 1 pixel and black.

Step 15: A little effect I like to do is Duplicate the text twice, and move one below it and set it to opicaty to 50 and set the other one above and 50 opacity.

Not really. After every step just save it as "Tut Image #1" or something, then just upload them all. Wink

ya but I like to cut the images and paste them into a detailed background cuz it makes it purty Very Happy
