Cheshire has a habit of wearing flamboyant cat costumes when she wants to impress, but the outfit she most often wears is a tight darker purple tank top, shorts and striped purple and light purple leggings and gloves that go up to her shoulders with the tips cut off.  Normal ninja shoes.  Also, she has the kind of smile that when she smiles, it reaches all the way to her ears, giving off a very face-splitting effect.  Also, she keeps her nails long and filed to a sharp point.

Cheshire, to others, can often be described as quiet, prone to anger but extremely polite.  The only visible note of her actual weirdness is in the way she dresses.  She dresses in a wide and scary variety of odd cat costumes, complete with ears and fake tail.  She changes these outfits daily and even hourly sometimes.  Her last name of Morbid is ironic, for she’s not morbid or even depressed in the least.  Even after only a few minutes of having an actual conversation with her you’ll find that she can be a happy, bubbly sort of girl, screaming out how much you love that person, even though you’ve only known them for five minutes.  She tends to be a nice person most of the time, but she gets angry often, and quickly, but gets over it just as fast, going back to the Scream out how much you love them, stage.
 Also, the reason she talks so rarely is that most of the people she meets, she deems, “Unworthy of being spoken to,â€� and mocks them by pulling out her stuffed cat, Mia to talk to them instead, usually using ridiculous voices with it.  Cheshire has a lot of the characteristics of a cat.  She loves to sleep, and get’s cranky if woken up.  If you’re looking for her why’ll she’s sleeping, than you can usually find her in trees, on top of buildings, or inside of refrigerators.  She excels at hand to hand combat, being flexible and athletic, as well as graceful.  She doesn’t have a lot of strength, but she makes up for it in her speed and evasion skills.  The only person that can be called her friend is Kasai Shiatamme.  She calls him a variety of nicknames, ranging from Sai-Kun to Shia.  She travels with him everywhere, including the visits to his sister.  She loves little kids, or anyone younger than her, and will smother them to death on sight.

Cheshire was born in the village of Otogakure.  At a very young age, Cheshire, or Chesh as she was called by friends, grew a great interest in cats.  She cared for them and nursed them back to health when they were sick, wanting to become an animal Veterinarian when she grew older.  But as times changed and she grew older, becoming an animal doctor fell way to her other great dream, to become a ninja.  She enlisted in her local ninja academy, with hopes of becoming a medical ninja, but after a few months of being there, realized that she was alright at Ijutsu, but even better at Taijutsu.  She was a good deal more flexible and acrobatic than her other classmates, weaving in and out of their attacks, but she was not the best student in the class.  At age 14 Cheshire became a ninja, due to her parents’ hatred of fighting and their urgings for her to give up on being a ninja and become a Doctor or medical ninja instead.  Both of her parents were activists and strongly opposed fighting and war.  Unfortunately, most of the other citizens of Otogakure disliked this talk strongly and the citizens’ sons and daughters that had gone to the academy had often picked on her.  One day, one year after becoming a genin, after a particularly big fight with her parents and gotten jumped by three of her classmates, then mugged, Cheshire was unhappy and left to go to her secret spot.  Her secret spot was a secluded place just inside of the village limits, with a lone, bare tree and one withered flower.
 Cheshire bent down to pick the flower up by the stem and when she straightened up again and looked into the tree, and smiling down at her was a cat.  A creepy, smiling cat.  The smile of the cat reached the tips of its ears, giving it the appearance of its face being split in half.  Well the cat smiled down at her, and Cheshire looked up at it and suddenly the cat leaped out of the tree and sauntered off, looking back at her expectantly, as if wanting her to follow.  Cheshire stared at the withered flower and the equally withered tree and looked back at the place that was her home.  Then she dropped the flower, along with her headband, and ground the flower into the ground with her foot and followed the cat.  The smiling cat led her outside of the village, and a good ways away before stopping underneath another tree, not as withered as the first, and bounded into it.  It stared at Cheshire’s blank, frowning face and smiled wider, if that was possible, as if to say, ‘Don’t worry, BE HAPPY.’  And so Cheshire was.  She realized the futility of being sad in an already depressing world and decided to bring back a little color to it.  After seeing the beginnings of a slow, half-crazed smile start on Cheshire’s face, the Smiling cat bobbed its head up and down and jumped backwards out of the tree.  It was fairly dark outside so it appeared to the now smiling Cheshire that the cat had simply disappeared, leaving behind only its mark, in the form of the face splitting smile now etched on Chesh’s face.  One year later, after being a missing-ninja for quite awhile and honing her skills, she met Kasai.  Happy, to have finally met another friendly missing-ninja, since all the ones she had met had been very rude and colorless, Cheshire decided to stay with him, becoming his friend and traveled with him for two years.
