A small shadow passed over the memorial as a young hawk flew overhead. As it came to the edge of the area, it wheeled back around and began circling in the air. Watchful eyes on the ground gazed upon the magnificent avian as a lone figure drew closer and closer. The man was cloaked, hooded, and wore the mask of an ANBU captain. Having already seen the one whose hands the village rested in, he left Renima to carry out his own personal agenda while he himself observed the rest of the village.

Rather than checking in on his family, who had most likely saw him as nothing but an outcast by now, he decided to visit the monument that honored all of thoses that he had grown with and whom had past on in honor. Wishing to feel the wind under his wings, Zacara's hawk had flown ahead instead of staying perched on the Shinobi's shoulder.

As the Former ANBU approached, he saw two other figures near the great stone. Silently, he walked pass the two and up to the stone, closing his eyes for a few moments as he remembered all of the people that had been at the ninja academy with him. Out of all the konoha shinobi, none remained within the village, having either been killed or disappeared all togather. He knew a few names inscribed upon the stone belonged to those that still lived, such as Renima. Others he could only guess about.

After standing in silence for a few minutes, his curiousity got the better of him and he gazed out of the corner of the eye slits in his mask at the two other people. One of them he found very interesting. not the person himself, but the weapon that he was in posession of: the blade with the words "Shattering Blade" inscribed upon it. He recognized the sword's name, having met the owner on more than one occasion.

Seiko looked at Charoo as he spoke and his eyes narrowed. "You're naive if you believe it's that easy. Protecting someone isn't just jumping in front of a kunai and taking the hit. It's more then that. It takes love, friendship, family and so much more. A single person can not do that alone." Seiko said softly with anger hidden in his word. "It doesn't matter though. Regardless of what you may think, I will not stop protecting him. You just came along into Tamotsu's life. I've been there since he was broken." Seiko growled out as his sense filled with an odd smell. He then looked around and couldn't find anything but he knew someone was there. "I'm leaving now. Tomorrow is the Chuunin Exams. I'd suggest you come. Maybe you might learn something." He said as he disappeared quickly in a puff of smoke.

"damn no matter what i do he always seems mad at me..." he said silently to himself as he looked at the graves. he walked the familer walkway to where his parents laid. he bowed and sat down at the base of the graves. "so many things have happened since you two died...i miss you both dearly...i found someone...he is a good man...but he is broken and i dont know how to fix him fully...please...tell me what to do..." he said quitly to the graves. after a few moments nothing happened and charoo felt discoraged. he got up an sensed a presense. charoo got up and kiihed around. "who are you and what do tou want?" he yelled out

Zacara turned his head slowly so that he mask was facing towards the shinobi that had questioned him. He sensed no evil intent from the boy so he felt no need to ready his weapons. "To ask my name is to ask the name of a shadow... My business here is my own, and you should stick to you own matters." He looked away from charoo, turning his gaze back towards the rock. He quickly finished paying his respects to those who had been lostand turned his gaze upward to his hawk as it circled through the air. The bird let out a joyous screech as it climbed high up into the air before diving back down toward the former ANBU. When it was about to hit, the hawk slowed itself with its wings and came back to rest on Zacara's shoulder.

He ventured a question to the other shinobi. "..... How did you come by that weapon? ... do you know the fate of the owner?" As he made an image of the cmplete blade in his head, he thought of the original owner whom he had had the chance of meeting on more than one occation soon after he left the village hidden in the leaves. As an idenitifying habit of the missing-nin, he took out a shurikan and began spining it with an air current above his hand.

charoo twisted the blade and held it up. "this blade? i came by this when it went threw my side." he said with a grin. "as for the owner he has my blade and he is still alive probably in the great plains outside of the forest." said charoo as he started to turn the blade so that made a circle barely grazing the ground. "now then mr. shadow. if you are friends with the man with my blade and that bird can hold 5 pounds could you please get back my blade i need it for reasons i keep to my self." he asked with a grin grabbing the blade where the hilt connected to the glade and offering the hilt to the man.

Zacara accepted the blade, grabing its hilt and bringing it to rest with its point on the ground before him. He felt the unique way the blade connected to his chakra flow as he took hold, making him quite sure that it was indeed the weapon that he thought it was. As one final test, he forced his chakra into the blade, causing the shards to loosen and levitate n inch or two above the surface, linked to the edge by a fiber of chakra.

Satisfied enough, he let the shards reconnect and slid the blade onto his back before nodding. "Very well.... The owner of this sword is an... aquaintance.. of mine. Once i find him, i'll send my hawk back with your weapon." He turned toward the hawk and wispered orders to it. Without hesitation, it took to the skies and headed twoards the plain, looking for anything that might be signs of a battle. As the hawk flew out of the sight of most people, Zacara made a quick bow and walked off in the same direction that his hawk had gone.
