Tatsumi calmed her breathing once again, as her clone started making cat calls, she knew that she would need to focus, and as such, wanted the clone to force her to lose focus, if it could.
"You'll never get it!" the clone called, doing rude gestures.
She focused on the jutsu, as the hand signs finished "Doton: Doryū Taiga!" She called again, feeling the path of mud be created under the clones feet. She smiled, but knew that this was only the third time trying it.
She would need to do this six times in the next hour, but she wanted to do it twelve.

Tatsumi kept up the focus, ignoring the words her clone was saying to her, knowing that she was fully calmed and focused, doing the hand seals quicker than her own eyes. She released the jutsu, causing some more mud to be created, but still not enough to be the river of mud that the jutsu was named for.
She did it again and again, moving quicker and quicker, working to accomplish it, dispelling it only to clear the path. Tatsumi felt the chakra level she was using expanding, she felt her hands moving quicker, and she felt her mastery of earth jutsu asserting itself in her, as she continued the hand seals. She was almost out of time, but this was not the time to panic, but to focus more.
The clone seemed worried as she did the hand signs, the chakra almost visible as she did the finisher of the jutsu. Her eyes opened and focusing on the clone, her hand signs finishing as she quietly thought of the name of the jutsu.
Suddenly the path flooded with mud, and the clone was covered in the wet earth. She was surprised, but happy at what she had accomplished, the hour was up, but she cleared the path, reminding herself that she had more to learn.
She sat and meditated, starting to eat some of the food she had brought with herself.

Tatsumi felt relaxed after resting, she had started reading the book so as to get a grasp of the next jutsu. She understood why it was placed next to the river, it required it.

Description: A Doton (earth element) ninjutsu technique, used in conjunction with Doton: Doryu Taiga [Earth Release: Earth Flowing River], where the user creates a likeness of a dragon's head out of earth that launches mud balls from its mouth onto the opponent. This jutsu has tremendous destructive power, but it also consumes a lot of chakra. No shinobi should be able to use this technique more then once in a battle.
"So, this jutsu is like mud dumpling with Doryu Taiga." She thought alloud, as she studied the chakra needs, as well as the hand signs.
This jutsu was also tough to perform, but the hand signs where already there, just needed to memorise the order of it.

Tatsumi started gathering her chakra, as before, as she started doing the jutsu's hand seals. She focused on each one's name in her head. She kept her mind clear, and her breathing focused. She felt the wind picking up as she laid out the mud, and prepared for the true portion of the jutsu.
"Get ready" she said to herself. She forced herself to pick up the pace and move quicker for it. She wouldn't fail in this, if she could help it. The Princess of the earth focused on the jutsu, she knew not what to do. She finished the first round of trying, with the hand signs, finding she was still moving quickly with it. She felt the power flow, but then she felt the jutsu not perform. She sighed, as she focused on her breathing, she would not give up on it.
She started all over again, making sure she knew what was going on.
She felt the time slipping by as this went on. She started again, as the sun rose, and the temperature seemed to cause the area to heat up. She knew it was to be a warm day today, and wouldn't let that stop her. She stood, focusing on her breathing, as if breathing life into the earth would help the jutsu she was working on.

Tatsumi spent the next few minutes doing the chakra molding. She was surprised at how much she was doing this this time, almost obsessively. She kept her eyes open this time, as she formed the seals yet again, and started releasing chakra for the jutsu. She had a small bit of sweat on her forehead, from the heat, as well as the effort that this jutsu required. She could only think about how this would affect her, to know such a jutsu, with that kind of destructive power.
She was almost ready for the second try, as she stood there. She felt herself putting her mind into this jutsu, and her heart and spirit followed. She would make this technique her's. Tatsumi calmed herself, and thought of the chakra, the mud, and the molding, she could see no reason for this, but to force the knowlege and feelings into her, so that she could do this more quickly, in a way, knowing prison helped her at this point, for she could understand the pathways she had created already.
she started molding the head and the neck of the dragon out of mud, her bloodline helping only a little, her mind forcing it to move. She felt the ability of it, and understood it, it was not a weapon, but a creature of sorts, in a manner of speaking. Tatsumi had the idea of what the dragon looked like, all the features of it's face, and neck. She molded the scales in the shape of spades, the crest on it's head to come out with horns and little hairs, the eyes were serpentine. She could feel the power as she gave it the face of a lizard, with a horn on its nose, and the teeth she made like a wolf's. She marveled at it, as she caused it to move a little by little, making it survey the area.
She then smiled. This was a step up from what she had been doing, she understood the cannon, the way to control it, with simple moves of her chakra.
The hour was almost over, and she was thrilled at the breakthrough she had accomplished.
