OOC:Tatsumi will be learning some more earth jutsu in this thread, I'll make sure I am doing it right, before I start another jutsu.
Tatsumi walked into the mountains, to her favorite place, in order to find her calm, and to build up more techniques. Her mind was clear, but she realized, that her newest jutsu would need a way to be used in more areas. It was still early morning, and the air was cool and crisp.
She studied the jutsu in the book, she enjoyed the knowledge that this book would help her out.
She looked at the first jutsu.

Description: The user performs a technique that forms a rapid river of mud on the ground beneath the opponent.
'Doryu Taiga' she thought, thinking how perfect it would be to use it with her mud clone. She stood reading over the jutsu, Learning it as best as she could. This would be the first jutsu she would master today, but there was a few more that she had set up to learn before the day is over. IC: Tatsumi had meditated on the methods of this jutsu, and realized how this one would be difficult, so she was planning to spend three hours training on it, the first is for the focus, the second on the signs, and the third and final on the jutsu, and completing it.
She started charging her chakra, gathering it, and focusing it, knowing that this first part was just as important as the last part will be.'This jutsu will bring great strength to me' she thought silently, her eyes closed.
She spent the first fifteen minutes, just quietly gathering the chakra. She started focusing on her breathing, as the wind blew through the pathway of the mountains. She could sense the awakening of the insects, of the animals, and of the plants nearby. She could feel the energy all around her, but she had to gather and harness her own, most of all.
She felt the energy starting to grow, getting converted from stamina to chakra, to that of the earth. She smiled softly, as she weaved it inside her, she would not let this take too long, once she was done.
She felt calm, and listened to all around her, as she felt the minutes pass.

Tatsumi started to feel confident about the ammount of chakra, though kept it coming slow, for she didn't want to make too much, nor did she want to over load herself. She felt the blood in her body energized as she did the gathering. She could almost feel the earth, but she kept still as she gathered more and more. There wasn't much more that she could do. She kept her mind focused on her breathing and her chakra building.

Tatsumi felt the chakra finishing, as her mind calmed, and her breathing steadied. She wore a soft smile, and let her white hair glimmer in the morning light. "That is what I needed" she thought aloud, as her body tingled with the feeling of chakra though it.
She stood up again, and studied the second portion of the jutsu in the book. She felt rested more, as she studied each hand sign, she wanted to have each memorized, so as to get this part done, but she wanted to be quick with this in the first try, instead of like the Mud clones first try.

"I shall practice these hand signs till I am unable to do it anymore, to quicken it and get them correct" she told herself determinedly.
She closed her eyes, reflecting on the hand signs, and slowly, she started doing each sign, saying the name with the sign, using it to help her focus. She also hoped to get it where she wouldn't need to speak the sign before finishing it. She felt herself taking alot of time on this first portion of it, but wouldn't allow herself to mess up this first time.
She finished the first sequence after fifteen minutes, keeping her breathing calm, she could only hope to quicken. Tatsumi forced herself to focus more, as she started doing the signs again, wanting to get atleast three times of it done in this quarter of the hour. She felt her hands forming the seals quicker, though not that quickly this time, taking only eight minutes this time. She growled as she forced herself to start again.
The second time that she completed it, was four minutes, but that still wasn't fast enough for her yet. She didn't want to be slow on this jutsu, though learning it slowly would help her, she needed to perform it quickly.
The third time she finished, she finished it in two minutes, and had a minute to spare.

She stopped resting, noticing that an hour and a half had passed, and that she had passed the half way point. She closed her eyes, and started doing the hand seals, trying to feel the seals instead of speaking it. Her eyes kept closed so as to not even have to see it.
She did this over and over again, in order to be quicker with it, and managed after four times to go from doing it once every two minutes, to once every minute.

wasn't ready to finish the hand seals. She knew it, so she kept up the practice, the next hour would be dealing with doing the jutsu hundreds of times, and in order to manage that, she needed to build up great speed.
She felt her hands starting to move faster than her eyes could see. She couldn't even keep track after the third seal sets,
She felt the sun moving up, as the hour was coming to an end, her eyes opened, seeing the seals being performed, not just quickly, but perfectly.

Tatsumi grabbed up the book once more, studying the whole entire jutsu again. She could only guess what could go wrong, so she wanted to put this all together before the end of the third hour, for she could feel that the rest period of an hour after would be needed.
She channeled her chakra, using the hand signs quickly, as she performed the jutsu, "Doton: Doryū Taiga!" She cried out as she felt a small bit of mud be made on the ground.
She spent a few minutes setting it up, and then performed a different set of hand seals. "Mud clone" she said, forcing one clone to get up, and stand a small distance away. She would need a target for the full jutsu.
