Actually some of the color details with the tan wrappings around his sword coming off is quite nice. I feel like the hair and skin color need to be touched up a lot. And the blood on his arms is good, and same with the back. Not sure what you were looking for with his skin and hair but it just didnt work out.

Work with colors and designs that your not that naturally good at or that you dont like that much, it will make you loads better to level your playing field and improve upon your weaknesses, and later on you may thank yourself for it because you wont be so specialized.
When I first started out I just got really good with the black and white manga style. It was my favorite kind and seemed the most editable to me personally. Then as time went on I found that I kinda sucked with adding fancy color and design to stuff(I could do basic coloring because of how I had colored in manga chapters and stuff, but sucked at background shit with all the fancy flairs and spikes and w/e). So I just worked on it and got good, I wish I had at first though, would have made things a lot easier for me later on.
