"N-nani? Why did you attack me." He looks at Tamotsu paranoidly. His vision was still blurry, but he manages to sit up. Thought raced in his mind, he was really confused at his situation. Why had the Hokage attacked him? Especially just to heal him again. Was he toying with him, getting some sick pleasure of fighting than healing him? Or was this some kind of expert training? That's when another piece of information reached his thought process. "Chidori? I have no knowledge of the Lightning Release. I'm grateful you'd offer, but I lack the basic knowledge in order to learn it."

"Really? I most have gotten my information crossed." Tamotsu says, finishing up the healing. He looks into the horizon, combing over an alternate to teach him. "I'm sorry for attacking you, but I need you to be strong. In order to become strong, you need to improve your sharingan." Now that Caleb was sitting up, Tamotsu could look him clearly in the eyes. He could see the tomoe developed as he wanted it to do. "Seems my unorthodox training worked. Your sharingan have evolved. Will you forgive me?" Caleb say there for a moment, processing the information. Sharingan Level Two? he thought, Somehow my eyes feel different though. Maybe more sensitive? He put that trend of thinking on hold. Did he just say, "Rasengan?" he lets the word slip off his tongue. He had always had a dream of learning such a powerful jutsu, but that one? He became over excited. He stands up and brushes himself off. "Thanks for helping me with these." He says pointing to his eyes. " I thank you for the kage bunshin as well." He thinks back to the situation he received in, and instinctly grabs his arm. "Nothing. I will break nothing. I'll be lenient this time and make sure you stay in peak form to learn this so pay attention to everything I say because it is important and will help you on the road to learning the Rasengan." He gave Caleb 3 balls. "The gray ball is a basic water balloon. When you can make it pop with but pure chakra in your palm you have made it past the first stage. Then red ball is a rubber ball. You will need to make it pop by making your chakra spin at high speeds but in condensed amounts. Once that is done, the thrid stage begins when you prepare to take this red ball and combine the last two stages into one. When the ball pops, you must then fully make a form a Rasengan in your hand. Caleb had decide to rest that day, saving his energy for the grueling 7 day training session. Having just moved back to the village, he gets the comfort of his on bed. The morning sunlight pours through the window, telling him the new day had arrived. Had wipes the sleep out his eyes, and looks towards the three balls. "Alright, then I'll grab some breakfast then start training." He walks into the kitchen, about to get a quick meal. To his suprise, Switch was up making something that smelled pretty good. "Mama? What are you up so early?" She smiles, "I could tell you where up to something last night, so I decided to make my favorite son breakfast. Sit down and relax before you go train."
He nods, taking a seat. "Don't tell Natalie, but I'm learning a powerful technique. One I thought I could only dream about." "Rasengan?"his mom asks. "How did you know that Ma?" Caleb asks, ears twitching. "I know all, see all." Switch says giggling. "I have my ways, as all moms do. Just make sure you don't hurt yourself too bad while training. Now eat up, honey." his ma says, placing plate of fruit waffles in front of him. It was odd how she had such talent in cooking, she claimed she never did it much before becoming a mother. She walks back into the kitchen, making a basket of food for his lunch.
Switch grins as he trys to quickly eat his breakfast, "Be careful you don't want to choke." Caleb nod slowing his pace. He finishs his breakfast, still a bit in a hurry. "Alright ma, later." She appears in front of him, "Don't forgot your lunch," she hands him the basket. "Good luck." "Thank you, I'll try my best." Caleb takes the basket, and bows. After retrieving a bag from by the door, he walks out and heads to the secret spot Valerie told him of. He enters the somewhat hidden small valley, placing his lunch near it before going in farther. He pulls out the first ball from his bag, holding it firmly in his palm. He purchased multiple copies of each one, even if he passed a step he believed he should refine each one before moving on.
"Alright first chakra projection," He looks down at the ball and release chakra into it, and a green mist rose up. "Wrong type of chakra. Let's think about this, what need to do in order to release a controlable chakra?" He thinks back when he was training in Suna medical corps. Chakura no Mesu took plenty of control, shaping the blade being the base. Matter of fact the nature of the chakra itself needed altering, which was a small feat upon itself. He makes a thin line of chakra shot up into the ballon, slightly grinning. "Now that it's in there, how do I rotate it?"
He puts down the ball and looks at his palm. He covers in in chakra, walking over the one of the stone walls around him. He places the hand on a tree and it sticks. Taking it away from the tree, he sits down and places his hand on the ground and pulses his chakra. The grass below shifts from the invisible pulsation. He knew he had to rotate the chakra, and violantly enough to break the ballon. This was Spiral Sphere after all. For starters, he mentally divided his hand into eight sections. He focuses his chakra into each part, slowly one after another. He steady improves his speed, but once he gets a stead rhythm the chakra flares up and he almost burns himself. "Ah man, I should have worked more on chakra control," he says with a sigh.
Chakra control, hmm..... "Thats it! I'll use my academy basics to help me with this. Umm, but how to rotate it at a steady rate. I can do it, but it's slowly and my method isn't smooth at all." He walks over and pick up the ball he place on the floor, and grabbing his bag. He sits against a tree and hold the ball that's already out firmly in his hand. He closes his eye and pictures his chakra circulatory system. It wasn't in a spiral of course, so he'd have to spin it as it's projected. Just like he used imagry to help him with his fighting style, he starts picturing things out. He imagine his chakra shooting up into the ballon, and forming a whirlpool. He follows through the best he can, and the balloon starts shaking. Back and forth it goes, gradually building speed. Caleb open his eyes and grins, holding the rumbling water balloon.
He continues this for five minutes straight, his grin fading slowly. Great, he thinks, It isn't popping. I wonder what I need to do now, He slides down to a lying position holding up the ballon and blocking out the sun with it. He drifts off into meaningless thought, half trying to figure out what to do next. He slaps himself, "It's a sphere, not a disc! But that would mean, multi directional spinning? Boy and I thought one way was hard. I think I got an idea though." He carefully puts the balloon down by him, and sits back up. Utilizing Tenohira Yoshiki and general chakra control he creates a tiny, weak whirlwind in his hand. It wasn't chakra, but he was pretty sure if he could do it with a simple wind it would help him out.
It easily spins in one direct, and he proceeds to try to get it to go another way simultaneously. The second current seems to kick up then both completely stuff as Caleb feels a bodily draining. "Aiy," he lays back down and stares at the sky, giving his chakra a chance to regenerate. He waits for good hour, yet it doesn't return. He decides to eat his lunch since it was basically noon anyways. I'll have to do something about my taijutsu or something. This chakra nature makes it where ninjutsu shouldn't be my main focus. And genjutsu, heh. Suprising how Natalie does it.
The sun starts to set when his chakra finally kicks back in. "Alright then." He stands up and holds out his hand. He makes a small wind form over his hand, having it spin in a wheel like motion. He then makes another one that rotates in a circle. A drop of sweat comes down his face, as he creates another spiral of wind. Slowly but surely, he makes eight wind currents that all spin in different directions. It takes him an hour or so, and he loses the currents repeatly in the process.
"Time to do that with chakra itself." He lazily stirs up some chakra in his palm with his index finger, "Easy enough, now that hard part." Another whirl of chakra appears, starting slowling and lazily. Caleb accelerate the two ribbons of chakra already forming in his hand, and slowly adds more. These new ribbon move slowly at first, but after every two he accelerates them. "Sweet... Ouch." he had successfully made the chakra go different ways, but burnt himself a bit from chakra friction.
He picks up the balloon and apply the multi direction spin to it. He gets worried when it doesn't pop, but he notices it taking a spiked like appearance. He accelerate the spinning and the balloon pops. "One down, two to go." It was the next day, and one agian Caleb was up bright and early to train. He returns to his hidden training area, tossing a rubber ball up and down as he walks. After entering he places his bag down, once more full of extra balls and his lunch. He grips a rubber ball, "Let's see what the goal his here," He circulates his chakra in it once again, steadily increasing it's speed. The speed increases by a large amount, way better than he did yesterday.
"This isn't even shaking much." Caleb looks up, wondering why this wasn't working, this time. He looks at the ball, examining the differance between it and the first one. I was obviously made of a harder material, and would require much more force to pop it open. Spinning wasn't working, so that pretty much left the amount of chakra that he put into the ball. For now, he gripped the ball in two hands firmly, and got set to let loose all the chakra he could muster.
Luck was on his side, fortunately, as he had a spike in his chakra. "Finally, when I need it!" He forces in a large amount of chakra, trying to get the balloon to bust. Nothing happened, save for a light blue smoke appearing that signafies him burning himself. "Damn!" he exclaims, dropping the ball and looking at him hands. The were scorched, but nothing a little cream couldn't fix. He looks around nervously, realizing that he had just sworn quite loudly. "Heh, it's not that big of deal, I just need to relax." he sits down on the ground, "Now lets see, I have to keep the chakra spinning near the center. If I can't do this, the backlash will cause me to burn myself once more."
He starts slowly, pouring in a steadily increased amount of chakra while increasing it's rotation. Once again, he feel the burn of the chakra. Fortunately this time it was a slight tingling though, so he proceeds with trying to burst the rubber ball. He accelerates it, and a slight rip occurs in the ball, letting air escape. "If i'm not mistaken, it's suppose to burst. Which would mean I just barely scratch the surface of this stage." He grips the ball in one palm, looking at it as if it would give him the answer he needed.
Needs... more... power... What to do? He thinks it over for a moment. The chakra amount and spinning should be just fine, but what was he lacking? He needs enough force to make the rubber ball burst with his chakra. In order to cause it to burst he would need more pressure, and in order to cause more pressure he would need to concentrate his chakra into one place before letting it go. Kinda like setting explosives. They deal more damage if set under an object than left out in the open.
He grips the ball once again, pouring a large amount of chakra into it. That was easy enough, but he has to strains as he trys to compress it. Oddly enough the compression was made easier once he start the chaotic spinning of the chakra. He bring the spinning to a peak and add in more chakra. The ball busts, the sudden burst hurting the hand that held the ball. He walks over and grabs another rubber ball spending another two hours refining and speeding up the building up of chakra.
Now for the final step, containment. It would have to wait till the next day, he was suprised that it took him so long for the second step. After completing it, he felt that shouldn't of taken him so long to learn. But looks can be decieving and it was a rather difficult step. When his mothers ask about his progress training, he lies a bit. He tells them he's still on the first step, intending to take them by suprise when he actually does learn it.
Day Three
The next day, he sets out to the training area again. He had a bag full of air filled ballons. Rotation and power were already done, he just needed to learn containment. He puts his bag down by a tree and out of curiosity forms the almost complete rasengan in his hand. He walks towards another tree and attacks it. Much of the bark is blasted away, and a spiral imprint is left on it. He makes a mental note to increase the chakra put into the attack, he purposely left some out so he would blow anything up with a unstable Rasengan.
He pulls out a balloon and begins to work on containing the spiraling power of the Rasengan into an compact sphere. He takes out a rather large balloon, and creates the whirling mass of chakra within it. He had clear balloons and could see it steadily increasing size as he formed it. After a few seconds, the balloon pops. "That was bigger than the finished product should be anyways. I need to get it smaller than that." He pulls out another large sized balloon, and pours chakra into it. He his hands burn a little from him trying to compress the chakra, but he simply ignores it. Caleb manages to get the chakra contained within the large balloon, so he decides to move on the his next smallest. Maybe if I visualize it being somehow contained, it would help me with this last step.
He puts down the balloon, exchanging it for the smallest he had gotten. He closes his eye, and concentrates. He projects chakra just above his hand, and spins it as he does so.... Pop! He opens his eyes, "I didn't even get that far... I guess I'll focus on containment, and form my chakra into that." After retrieving another balloon, he closes his eyes once more. He picturse a small balloon in his hands, similiar to what he actually has in his hands. He realized it wouldn't always be there to contain his attack so he works to think up something that would always be present.
Once again, wind came to mind. It was always around, and for that matter the atomosphere it's self acted as an container for the rest of the air. Well that and gravity, but that won't help him with this training. He pictures chakra forming into a sphere, and trys his best to follow suit. After doing this, he tries to fill it with the chaotic, multi direction chakra. It would seem that he's successful until, Pop! Without a word or barely a thought he reached for another balloon and continued to try containing and compressing his chakra.
It was night time before he knew it, he hadn't even bothered eating lunch. He finally figures out his mistake. Yes he need to contain his chakra, but he was getting the order wrong. He the released chakra first, then as it's extending he should then bring it together into a sphere. By then he won't have to put anymore chakra in then he already had. The containment in a rather small ball will cause a compress effect the will automatically acelerate the chakra present. He grabs anothe balloon and try to form Rasengan with his new outlook into it. The ball doen't bust.
