No i did not watch this or read the manga, my sister did Razz

Basically, it traps your powers inside the chain, until it is ripped off by someone else, NOT By self, causing all power and energy flow, basically its like say....Like zaraki except it restrains everything in the body.

Also, this also trapped the girl's vampire form inside so it wouldn't release freely,So yeah.
