Shizuka returned to Suna, feeling lonelyness and the over wealming feelings that she had nothing. Sure, she had passed the first portion, and was given time to train and grow, but while others were learning from Sensei or Family, she had none, she didn't even know where any of her friends where. She returned to her human form, as she sat next to the fountain, her mind on the water walking skill she had acquired, and the slight flashes of memories, painful memories that were incomplete to her.

She backed away as it flashed in her eyes, her in her underwear, trying to learn to walk on water, while failing just when she had it, a tall impressive male, jounin at least, watching, and shouting, and the man that was her father, shouting and something about the famliy. She shut her eyes tightly, trying not to cry, as her face showed her pain. Her hunger, still great from the wound she had recieved, she felt like there was nothing she could do. She wept.

Arekkusu had been traveling a long ways from where he had come from. He was tired and the sun of the Suna desert was not helping him at all. He had forgotten what it was like to be here. Wasting so much time wondering the world. His skin would slowly burn as he walked without his shawl for the first time. He sighed as he wanted to run but the sand would hinder that possibility greatly. He knew sooner or later that he would have to try anyways for he did not want to be baked. He started a slow run and his legs began to throb. It was painful but he pushed forward anyways. He struggled most of the run until he made it to the gates of the village... a small refuge.

Shizuka was still crying when a scent wafted to her. It made her salivate slightly, and her hunger flare up. "oooh" she sighed as she started following the scent. She still recalled how she had been hungry since the wound she took during it. People didn't take notice of her, as she moved along the shadows of the street.

She reached the gate and noticed a male on the ground. He was bleeding and injured, as well as dry. She fought the idea of biting him as she pulled him into the village. "Taking a nap by the gate is the best way to get killed by the gaurds, they don't even like cats taking naps by their posts." She stated with personal experience, as she laid him in the shade, and brought him a wet cloth, placing it on him and using it to cool him off.

"You better be alright, I want to do things to you, and if you are not alright, then I should take care of this hunger" She whispered, her red eyes staring deeply at him, as she took care of him so that he wasn't so warm, watching as the noon sun turned to that of late noon.

"Your kindness... bothers me. And yet, your threat to do things to me neither bothers me nor makes me flinch. So, do as you must, or please be out of my way. I am here to look for something and you hinder me by taking me in as a hostage or some prey." Arekkusu stood up weakly as he took a deep breath. But he was dizzy and found himself quickly on the floor on his back. "Perhaps your kindness will be a welcomed move for me as I cannot do much. You... you're a vampire of sorts. Are you not?" He asked examining her.

"I do not know" Shizuka replied, looking slightly flushed. Her red eyes looking into his. "All I know is that I hunger for blood." She continued to try to keep him cool, not wanting to injure or kill him. She kept him down, so as to allow his body to lower the temperature.

"So, your in Sunagakure for a reason" She said, "what for?" She was curious because it was figured that anyone who came here as he did, wasn't from here. Most that came here, usually knew to bring more water.

Suddenly a memory of a Large muscular man came to mind, she saw him slaughtering her family, and again felt emotional pain, not sure why these memories were haunting her. She let out a tear before regaining her composure.
"I could see about getting your errand done, while you rest in the shade." She suggested this with softness in her voice, more reminiscent of her old self.

"There is a man here... who makes fans. A special breed of fans. He can make mechanisms that make the fan stronger, faster, sharper... even change it into a different weapon. I came here with the last of my money and pride to see if he would make me a fan that I created in my mind using his system of mechanics. And I came here to bid my mother a farewell. And to replace some of the blood I lost during the Chuunin Exams." Arekkusu smiled weakly as he cooled off a bit more.

She looked down for a second "My name is Shizuka Otori, and I will go to the fan maker, you should go to your mother, I'll bring the fan maker with me, and meet at your mother's place, your smell will draw me" she mentioned all this, while looking down. She realized that her memories were coming back, and that she had said her last name, which the family name was sealed to her. "Where is this Fan maker?" she asked, curious as to wether the guy would make her a fan as well.

Arekkusu nodded as he tried again to stand up and then took a deep breath to rebalance his world. He sighed and then brushed his hair back. "In the middle of this village beside a small shop where they sell Sand cakes, is a smaller shop of the fan maker. He's always there as he always toils and tinkers with new fans and gadgets. Just tell him, Arekkusu sent you and he'll be all ears." Arekkusu said as he walked off toward the northeast part of the village. For some reason, he did not believe that the girl was helping him, but for the time being he had no choice and would have to find a way to repay her. As he walked, he finally arrived to his small one floor home and sighed as he looked at it. The front door was marked, meaning no one was home and he would wait for a while here.

As he left, she took on her cat form, and rushed to the location, using her nose to locate the sand cake shop. It didn't take long, and the small form was not really noticed as it darted by under foot of people. Once there, she continued to search till she found the small shop of the Fan Maker. Before entering she returned to her human form, her eyes leading the way, as she entered to see the tinkerer.

She waited for a few moments, while the guy didn't see her, and then finally she decided to get his attention. "Sir, you are the fan maker that Arekkusu sent me to find, am I correct?" She asked. She was hoping she was in the right place, for there wasn't many that made such odd fans.

"I see the beauty of your skill in the way you walk. I understand by your eyes who you are. And I see by the way you breath how you find yourself in doubt but never far in it. I am he who you look for, child. What is this about young Arekkusu? I remember when I gave him his first fan. My grandson always loved that thing even if he couldn't swing it fully." The old man said that last part as if in memory.

Shizuka smiled, as she looked apon him. "He looks pretty ragged, and is at his mother's house. Would you follow me, I will lead you to him." Shizuka replied with a slight urgency and softness to her tone. She had just met him, but he had complimented her already, and that was a rare and precious thing to her. She watched as he gathered up a few things, and packed it up, and left the shop. She lead the way after he closed it, and using her sense of smell, lead him directly to the boy's location.

Arekkusu had been waiting for some time now and his wound was addressed to slowly and professionally with some bandages and some herbs. He sighed a moment, thinking of what he would tell the fan maker when he arrived. He yawned rather loudly as he waited. He then saw Shizuka walking forward toward him with the fan maker and he smiled. "Hello, Shizuka. Thank you for bringing him here." He bowed a moment and looked as if nothing ever happened to him.

"Arekkusu-kun. I believe you have something to tell me." The fan maker said softly.

"Yes... this." He said as he gave him a small scroll. The fan maker opened it and examined it thoroughly and then looked up at the boy in wonderment.

"These plans are yours?" He asked.

"They are." Arekkusu said softly.

"It shall take me 1 hour to finish. I will return shortly." The fan maker went inside the house and Arekkusu smiled a moment. He then looked at Shizuka and pulled out a small bag of still cold blood.

"I figure you might need this as I did research on your bloodline earlier. Thank you for tending to me." Arekkusu said softly.
