Ukyo walked slowly into the scene. The environment was quite unique at the moment - it was peaceful, yet somehow tense at the same time. He wondered if he really belonged here. He was not interested in the affairs of his village, or any village for that matter, yet he seemed to play quite a big part of them. However, there was something that interested him here. A new presence, one he had not been able to feel before, have appeared, and there was a certain quality to it, the quality that separated mere mortals and his kind. Why was it, or how it appeared, he did not care. He knew full well the ritual, and the pain one has to go through. What he was interested in, was how the person got to be a chosen one. He sought to have as many allies as possible in the upcoming battle, and this was another one whose help he could use. But for now, that would have to wait. He wasn't even sure he would be assigned to the team with this person on it. Right now, he had to wait until the exams are over. Tachibana Ukyo, reporting for duty, - he said simply to the three overseers. _________________

The three officials bowed to all those who were there. The spoke no words as they looked at the Jounin in question that were involved. They simply gave a look to them that told them to go to their designated spots on the island. With nothing more to do with their eyes, hands, legs or body in general, they officials returned to their static positions on the island. The returned to their static position.
Tamotsu nodded and walked over to his students, ruffled their hair and wishing them luck. He walked off and disappeared from sight. _________________

Shizuka was watching from her little rest against the tree, having taken a small nap, she was ready for what ever the day had for her, as she stared at the groups of people, realizing she was the only one in the viscinity of the shadow of the tree.
"Aww, this feels good" she thought as she stretched a little, and looked like how she once was, but then stood up and was as she is.
She noticed Ayame was in a group of people, she seemed to be doing her thing, as was some of the other Suna genin. She noticed people mainly doing what they did best, while she stayed out of the way.

Just waiting for the event to begin was boring, so Ukyo decided to wander around a bit and take a better look at the genin. He only recognized Shu among the genin, and the Suna shinobi really was the only one Ukyo knew of this crowd. However, the presence that has been bothering him was not his. It still had a "scent" of its recent contacts, and the jounin found it interesting that it had both the scents of Rera and another acquaintance of his, Sol, from about the same time. He wondered if Sol and Rera have a history together or if it was a simple coincidence, while searching for the mysterious person. After a few minutes, he realized that the feeling was coming from the lonely girl by the tree, and made his way to her. Upon coming closer, he smiled and said: Greetings young one, how do you fare on this glorious day? It wasn't his common manner of speaking, but somehow it seemed monstrously appropriate for this time. _________________

Being addressed, Shizuka composed herself, with out looking, accidently giving a small nervouse smile, revealing her fangs "This day is good, even if the sun makes me tired" She replied warmly, as she bowed politely "And this day finds you?" she asked, trying to make small conversation, being boredom and loneliness would not allow her to enjoy this time as others have been. She was finally being included.
She looked at him, and something about him made her shiver, she couldn't figure out what it was, though something about him struck her as odd. Reiatsu mentally smiled as his sensei ruffled his hair and left all though his outward blank expression did not change. He quickly scanned the crowd around him too check out his competition. ‘All these people look pretty tough. Looks like I should step up my game if I plan on beating them. He thought as his soulless eyes glazed over the competition. Fenrir situated himself behind Reiatsu, trying to shy away form the other Pet-nins within the group.
Reiatsu turned to go to his usual pre-fighting activity, lying under a tree and taking a nap. He slowly walked towards the trees as Fenrir followed him and Reiatsu noticed the ninja that had turned from a cat to a normal human. She was a female Shinobi about his age and didn’t look abnormal but something seemed…strange about her. Reiatsu sat down beside Shizuka as Fenrir curled up beside him and Reiatsu said. “Allow me to properly introduce to myself, the names Reiatsu Hita and this is my dog Fenrir. Ukyo wouldn't be himself if he let the unusual shape of Shizuka's canines slip past him. This observation proved his suggestions: the girl really was a vampire, like himself. Many questions rose in his mind, such as who was she, why was she bitten, what did she have to do with Sol, and so on. The jounin shook his head slightly, organizing the inner chaos of thoughts into a calm stream. I'm in fair health and good will, - he replied to the girl's words. He noticed the color of her eyes - crimson, just like his own. Many things came to mind, but not what to say next. The silence was beginning to get awkward, so he decided not to carefully choose his words and speak his mind. You seem... different from the others. Care to tell me your story while we wait? At this part, she seems to get caught up in her words, "I don't think I have a last name, and if basically I'm a wind ninja from Suna." She started that and then slowly realized he knew more, so she went on "I don't remember anything from after I left the academy to when I woke up in the hospital, I have dreams though, of a Woman, and the sands of the desert flowing under us, and a man calling out to us, and my father's screams as a big man destroyed our shop, but I don't remember much else.
Shes topped to catch her breath and emotions. Ukyo nodded to himself at the girl's words. A big man destroying her shop sounded kinda like Sol, but he couldn't be too sure. In any case, it didn't matter that much. Bleak memories of a woman, however, were all the evidence the jounin needed. It's not like they were a decisive argument, but it was very likely that her memories have been blurred because of the harsh changes that her body underwent. She was definitely one of his own kind. The hungering she mentioned, was, without a doubt, the hunger for human blood he also felt. At times it was quiet, but at times he had to put all his willpower just not to go into a frenzy, killing random people and drinking their blood. This hunger was the stronger the more powerful the vampire himself was, so the girl might only have noticed it as a minor annoyance... yet. He had to do something about her. Turning a human and leaving her to fate was very much like Rera, but Ukyo couldn't just leave her to suffer. He had to do something... but he couldn't even talk to her freely with the other genin here. He would have to pick his words very carefully... There was an alternative though. He could "send". He did not care much that the other genin might consider the girl out of her mind if she started talking without him actually saying anything, as the boy was of no importance. You seem to have gone through some tough times, Shizuka. I can help you sort this out if you want, - he finished by sending her a telepathic message. _________________

She looked startled for a moment, but slowly realized that she was being talked to by the jounin. She nodded slowly "I could use a lot of help" She mentioned in reply, as she stared in awe at the other one. "What am I?" she asked.
Her eyes went to the other genin, but didn't pick up anything from him to suggest trouble, so thought nothing of it. She also noticed the puppy, and smiled softly at it, before turning her attention back to Ukyo.
