Appearance: Haldur is a fairly short young man, but he is all muscle. Still, he remains lithe. Haldur usually wears simple dark clothing of varying colors. He gives no sign that he is a ninja, not even wearing his headband. He carries no ninja equipment on his person. When on a serious mission Haldur will wear an armor he acquired abroad. It is a off-black Kevlar mesh with off-black ceramic plates integrated into it. The plates are carapace-like and harder and stronger than steel. It is mainly meant to protect a few vital areas while still allowing for full freedom of movement. (See spoiler for images)

Strengths:
Haldur has been a prodigy even since he joined the ninja academy. He is intensely intelligent, creative, and intuitive. This and his amazing work ethic have made a deadly combination. Haldur is extremely skilled in as many styles of martial arts as he could find, journeying all over the world to research them. He is also innately skilled in Genjutsu, though he much prefers to use Taijutsu and Ninjutsu to beat an opponent through pure skill, finding that outwitting an opponent can make it too easy. He has near complete control over his body and mind. He can ignore all but the most severe pain without batting an eye and throw off simple genjutsu as though they were nothing. his chakra control is so developed as well that he can perform jutsus at less the normal required chakra, which makes his moderate chakra pool seem much larger.
Weaknesses:
Haldur seeks challenge in a fight, even to the point of endangering himself. He has cut most of his bonds with his old life and thus is unpredictable. Throughout his childhood, Haldur was never able to stick to one thing for a long time. He is likely to change his mind back and forth quickly on a subject. Haldur is also unable to accept help from anyone, considering it a weakness to require assistance. He is a stubborn loser, and will fight to the end to prove he is the best.

Background:
Haldur had little attention paid to him as a young kid. Instead he strove for greatness on his own. He worked hard in solitude to try to always improve himself. Eventually he started to try to avoid attention whenever possible. Haldur's single mother was living in their spacious house off the pension of her dead husband who had died on a classified mission when Haldur was too young to remember him. His mother was absent at best and abusive at worst. Haldur tried to spend as much of his time on his own as he could. He moved out as soon as he could to go become a ninja, living in the student's quarters even though his house was in the city. Haldur was silent about his troubles, however. He strove to become the best at everything he did, but at the same time strove to avoid notice.
Haldur became a great ninja, as well as an avid musician and artist. He excelled in everything he did naturally, and even then he pushed himself to the limit to become better. He wouldn't accept defeat, nor would he accept aid. He saw both as a sign of weakness and wouldn't tolerate any weakness in himself.
Haldur was an exceptional genin, fighting the future-Sannin Megume to a draw in his Genin exams. He went on to the first of two wars and come out virtually unscathed. he even stood up to Gaara the Kazekage himself, though he didn't fight him.
The then Mizukage had started to take an interest in Haldur, even though he had attempted to go unnoticed. He promoted Haldur to Chuunin, along with two of his classmates. Haldur underwent training for a while under one of the swordsmen of mist. With the assassination of the Mizukage by Zieg another war broke out. Haldur joined the fighting in Konohagakure and again came out unscathed, even retrieving one of the seven legendary blades from the traitor who had betrayed the Mizukage.
After the war and the death of his new teacher, Haldur retrieved the second legendary blade that had belonged to the Mizukage. He proceeded to train in solitude on a secluded island for a while. When he came back he was at least as strong as any Jounin, though there was no Mizukage to promote him. He took under his tutalage the young brothers Jin and Shin. For six months he trained them before dissappearing suddenly, leaving them only a note and his two legendary blades. Haldur has spent the intervening time travelling as far as he can, developing new jutsus and obtaining an encyclopedic knowledge of all the different taijutsu techniques he could find across the world. he spent only a week or two in each place, learning all he could and moving on to a new location. He has mastered every taijutsu style he found, but still had a feeling that it was not enough. He had a yearning for his home of Kirigakure. Haldur returned to Kirigakure, planning on setting up a new home there and possibly finding Jin and Shin, his old students, again. Haldur doesn't know where to go from here, but he knows that he is back where he belongs.

Sorry Haldur, the only Kirigakure Sannin we have currently is Lava. I'd like to give it to you, but those are the rules. You can change to jounin and wait for the Mizukage battle to be over, or get Lava to post here. Either way you're pretty much assured Sannin.
EDIT: Wow, forgot to actually look over the profile. You must put zero missions total. Of course, do the background with nice detail. Also even though your character is extremely powerful and what not I would still like for him to have a few weaknesses (being stubborn doesn't really count, and the other one is more of a personality trait).
