Bringing forth the will of fire(Jutsu training)

Kodo stood on the dock and placed his hands in the Tori hand seal. His chakra started its trek through his chakra network. As it continued its speed of travel increased. Kodo closed his eyes as he felt an extra pull on his chakra. Airazor’s chakra was now also actively flowing through his body as he flew in close proximity of Kodo. Kodo opened his eyes and they followed Airazor as Kodo did the hand signs for this jutsu. He could feel his partner’s chakra flowing in sync with his own. Kodo finished with the Tora (Tiger) hand seal and held it. “Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!” Kodo stopped the flow of the chakra in his body as he heard a loud screech come form Airazor just before a fire ball flew from within Airazor’s own beak.

Kodo looked as his shock at what he’d seen. Once the initial shock wore off Kodo spotted the fireball’s trajectory. “Oh no! I’ve got to stop it!” Kodo jumped onto the waters surface and chased after the renegade fireball. Airazor followed behind. “If that fireball hits it could take out half the village.” Kodo picked up speed as he ran along the water. Once in range he quickly ran through some hand seals. Kodo jumped over the fireball as he ended with the Tora hand seal. “I have to deflect the shot.” Kodo thought to himself. “Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!” Kodo placed his left hand at his mask and released the familiar stream of fire. Kodo’s fire engulfed the fireball and traveled harmlessly into the lake.

Kodo landed on the shoreline and fell onto his butt, and then he lay on his back as Airazor landed beside him. Kodo looked at Airazor panting “Well… that was fun. I would have to say that we have this jutsu down. Your aim on the other hand could use a little work.” Kodo got to his feet and slowly walked back to his place to crash for the night… “I will have to find Tamotsu-sensei tomorrow.”

Kodo awoke the next day fully refreshed and hungry. He opened the fridge and cabinets to find anything edible. He pored himself something into a bowl and filled it with milk. He then pulled a rabbit out from under the sink from a sent proof bag and tossed it to Airazor who happily ripped into the dead carcass. Kodo and Airazor finished their respective meals and looked onto the new day. Kodo knew the Chuunin exams were ever approaching and he still needed to see Tamotsu-sen for more training if time allowed. He walked outside and remembered that he didn’t know were his sensei lived. A dilemma to say the least… Still Kodo had an idea based on where Tamotsu’s clan lived. He would search there first. Kodo transformed into Airazor and the two flew off to find Tamotsu-sen…
