Background:
Ryoma was born in the village of sungakure. He was an average member of the shinigami clan until he found out what their name meant death gods. Death gods more powerful than any being this was his legacy. Born from one of the four ancient families he had to power to achieve Bankai. He was entrusted with a duty at a young age to help the clan and become a death god. Ryoma first embarked upon this mission when he was a mere 5 years old, in times of need in sunagakure they made Ryoma Genin quickly, because of his superior abilities. He was a small child then and did not understand but his mind was smart and he was one of the smartest members of the clan. Some referred to him as the next Professor. Although this was going to be hard it meant a great boost to his ego. As he started to get older he felt that he had to learn medical techniques. His parents taught him how to use medical techniques. He had been training under them until the age of 16, which was until recent.
On his 8 missions as a genin one he remembered the most was the A ranked mission that was supposed to be D ranked. While delivering a small amount of food to the people in need, he and his teammates met a B ranked missing nin. He looked fearsome but Ryoma out of stubborness could not hold back. He fought well but in the end both his teammates died and he survived, only by chance. That was his turning point from friendly and fun to a person who was always cold and almost always unhelpful. He was becoming like on of the Shinigami clan members.
After completing the 8 missions as a genin he took the chunin exam. Although it turned out to be more than a fun ride in the park, his heartlessness was the only way he suceeded. At his level he answered all of the questions in the first examination without cheating. When he passed the first examination he was eager to see what was next and if it was worth anything to do. He himself could not take it, as he wanted to fight. On the way to finish the second part he killed 2 Genin trying to steal their scrolls. He obviously passed, and was put in the third exam. He beat the other person with ease. The Kazekage, named him Chunin after this, as he deserved it more than anyone else.
When becoming Chunin he did many missions with people, although attachment was not his favorite. He became attached to the one person he should not have the kazekage Ballian Mizunaka. A leader with power of a thousand men. He became more and more powerful as the days went by. He wanted to become a sanin. That was his wish in the begining. After 2 years of being a Chunin he finally made it to Jonin.
