A Mission

Hime walked slowly, closing the distance of the rear. She walked right up to Kanae and looked into her eyes. They were blank and listless. She had passed out, yet continued to walk out of sheer determination. Hime looked upon her with a look of protection and threw the lovely girl over her shoulder. " Let's get going," She said softly.

She caught up with Orochima and kept pace with her despite the girl slung over her back. Hime grunted with the effort but kept her mind on the task at hand. If she were to be caught in a battle she would not be able to fight hand-to-hand without dropping her and she would not even have the possibility of drawing her bow. She would have to rely on her genjutsu. She was lost in reverie as they neared the oasis.

Orachima looked over her shoulder, hand still absentmindedly stroking her little snake.
Her eyes narrowed slightly, but the girl, Kanae, was still a team mate. They couldn't just leave her; someone did have to take care of her. Her eyes focused closer; onto the other girl, Hime. She was keeping up with her pace, and older female did find that a little admirable. But she shouldn't tire herself out when she might be needed if they were attacked.
Truly, not that Orachima would need her, most likely, but she was still valuable if there were more than two or three attackers, aand if two or more of those were chuunin or above, or if even one was jounin.
She looked ahead and saw the oasis. She let her hand drop and started slowly jogging towards it, on guard, checking for enemies.

kanae finally snapped out of it and caught up with her two other teammates. "hrm sorry bout that guys. Been happening a lot to me lately. Won't happen again, promise" She noticed Orachima was on the look out and and decided she should be careful herself. She placed her hand on the her kunai holster and slowly approached the oasis. 'should be around here somewhere' She saw a few plants next to the oasis and smiled slightly. "Guys, is it okay if I grab 'em? I'm wearing gloves so if we accidentaly grab a look a like thats poisonous well nothing'll happen"

OOC: Sorry I've been gone. Are we wrapping this up soon?

IC: Hime sighed in relief and stretched her back. She doubted she could have carried the girl all the way back to the village. She walked up with the girl, and looked around. She couldn't see anything but she doubted they would be in plain sight anyway. She considered activating her bloodline but decided against it. If they were to be ambushed it would be too soon for her to notice anything.

" Good idea Kanae," She said brightly. " Go ahead and pick some of them."

I'm assuming no one's actually gonna attack, unless it's a random npc)

Orachima continued to spot around for the rest of them, standing a bit away. She was relaxed-looking, except for the fact that she was continuing to look around with her sharp, silver-slitted eyes.
If someone was determined to attack them, it would probably be on the way back in the form of an ambush, or they would just come right out.
"Yes," she said, nodding. "Go ahead, I've got you covered."
A strange thing for the Orochimaru-like female to say. But they, again, were her teammates, and she seriously couldn't afford to let them get injured or killed.

OOC: I hate to do this to you, but I'm just going to end this for my character (The exam has started and I need to be there).

IC: Hime nodded and walked along with Kibou as she went over and pulled out the root. She watched as she pulled it out and took another scan around the area. There seemed to be no one else around, so she walked up to Saaki whom she considered the leader and said: " I am sorry, but I have an appointment. I doubt you need me else except for company so I'll just take my leave now. Ta-ta!" She ran off towards the village, frantic as she realized that she may be late for the examinations.

Orachima watched as the child walked up to her, and listened, then nodded her head.
"Probably the exams. Not like I was ready anyway. Need more jutsu, and have only been at this for a year or two. Unfortunately."
She had to wait still for the other to get the root, then she herself could journey back alone to her own village. Alone.....
"Ahh..." she thought, brushing the top of her snake's head briefly, signaling it to leave. "What a wonderful thing it is, to be alone."
The snake uncoiled itself, then dropped to the ground, almost instantly disappearing into the green foliage of the oasis. She watched it until it vanished, then looked back up, eyes sweeping the area again.

(sorry, felt I had to comment ooc, so I thought, why not just post?
