Tamotsu had rested for several days to eliminate the soreness of the days past training. Today he had came here, to the plains, to train. It was here he believed that he must test himself. He wasn't as strong as he knew he could be. He wasn't a fighter with weapons. His fists and mind would suffice him this time out.
"For a man to become stronger, he must put it all on the line. This time... I promise to be stronger!" Tamotsu took off his gloves from his newly attained suit and smiled. "Basics... Jaken lets go!"
Jaken, his wolf companion and pet, walked up to him and barked pleased with his master's new found courage and determination.
"It's time to spar buddy. Let's go!" Tamotsu said as the gray wolf bark. Tamotsu did several hand seals as Jaken stood on his hind legs and rested his paws on Tamotsu. "Jujin Bushin!" A poof went off and two Tamotsus appeared standing side by side.
"Let's play!" One of them said as the other nodded.
The two walked 10 paces from each other and looked at each other. "Commence." The Tamotsu on the right said. The two rushed each other quickly. The Tamotsu on the left threw a heavy punch forward. The Tamotsu on the right ducked under the fist and grabbed the arm. "Too..." he pulled th arm forward and slammed the Tamotsu on the ground. "...Slow!"
The grounded Tamotsu poofed away and Jaken stood up from the floor panting a bit.
"Don't give up yet. We're far from done buddy. We're gonna take this fight to whole new heights and depths." Tamotsu smiled.

The wolf rested a moment an Tamotsu nodded. "Ready to start over? Be smarter about dodging and attacking okay?" Tamotsu said as the wolf barked and walked up to it's master. "Okay, let's start over now." Tamotsu did his hand seals as Jaken approach and stood up on his hind legs, resting his paws on him. "Jujin Bushin!" Tamotsu said as the wolf barked. The familiar poof went off and Jaken had transformed into a picture perfect copy of Tamotsu. The two took the 10 paces from each other and took their stances.
"Ready..." Tamotsu looked at the copy. "... Set..." The copy glared back. "... GO!" Tamotsu said as he ran out in front first.
"Bushin no Jutsu!" Tamtosu did the and seals and a copy appeared beside him. The Fake Tamotsu charged forward and did a simple roundhouse kick hiting the original Tamotsu who fell back and watched as his clone disappeared. Tamtosu stood up and charged the fake again and threw a 3 punch left, right, uppercut combination. The fake dodged the punches a bit better and jumped up to kick Tamotsu in the chest. Tamotsu counted by grabbing it's leg and throwing it aside.
"Damnit... Jaken is mad about that throw down." Tamotsu said as Jaken managed to keep from taking damage by rolling on the ground to avoid hitting it squarely.
Jaken stood up and charge Tamotsu and tried to use his tiny nails to slash upwards at him. Tamotsu flipped back instantly then bounced back to kick Jaken in the face. Jaken sidestepped and caught Tamotsu with a Clothesline in mind-air. Tamotsu his the ground hard and grumbled.
"I should be the one in charge not him." Tamotsu said as he rolled and stood up and tried to do a leg sweep but failed as Jaken jumped up in the air. Jaken dropkicked Tamotsu hard in the chest and sent him flying. But as Tamotsu flew a few feet his body poofed away and a log was in it's place.
"Surprise!" Tamotsu said as he punched Jaken in the back of the head breaking the transformation.

"Hmm. This direct combat is too much for you. Maybe we should try a different approach. I'll transform you and i'll go running around in those trees over there. Whenever you catch wiff of me, jump up and attack me. I'll try to dodge you and counter the best I can. Sounds good to you?" Tamotsu asked as Jaken barked softly.
The wolf stood up on it's Hind legs, still reeling from the surprise attack. It placed it's paws on Tamotsu who did some hand seals. "Jujin Bushin." Tamotsu said softly as the wolf poofed away and turned into a perfect copy of Tamotsu. Tamotsu nodded and walked towards a small grouping of trees and did the Ram seal. He collected chakra to his feet and then walked up the tree.
"Okay! Start!" Tamotsu said as he began leaping from tree branch to tree branch. Jaken nodded an ran into the grouping of trees. Tamotsu leapt through the trees carefully as best he could. As he jumped from on branck to another, he caught wind of Jaken who jumped up in the air and did an uppercut. Tamotsu got hit and fell back towards an another tree. He grabbed on to a branch and pulled himself up slowly. As he did he heard a small rustle behind him. Jaken jumped up and tried to kick him. Tamotsu leapt backwards to avoid the hit as Jaken disappeared to the ground below.
"Damn." Tamotsu said as he landed on a branch and squated a bit. "I have to focus on trying to hear him. I need to close off all my other senses and focus on being able to hit him." Tamotsu closed his eyes and stood there in squatting form. He listened to the area around him. He tried to discern noises from each other. He could heard bird chirping. Dead leaves being plucked from their limbs. He could hear water rushing. The he caught something not natural. "Behind me!?"
Tamotsu stood up just a Jaken jumped up and tried to roundhouse kick him. Tamotsu blocked the kick with his two arms and pushed Jaken back onto another tree branch. The two stared each other down and Tamotsu nodded and rushed him. He jumped forward, lunging his fist for Jaken's gut. Jaken jumped over him and kicked him in the back of the head. Tamotsu poofed away and a log fell. Jaken looked on and then truned his attention forward to where Tamotsu was standing.
Tamotsu did a spinning kick but Jaken blocked it with a well timed flip over Tamotsu's shoulder. Tamotsu turned around and looked on as Jaken landed on the tree branch a few feet away from him. Tamotsu rushed forwards and began throwing combination 1, 2, 3 punches at Jaken who blocked exeprtly. Jaken returned the punches immediately. Tamotsu blocked the punches with punches of his own. He flipped backwards as Jaken tried to go for a big Haymaker. When Tamtosu looked up, he saw as he was too late to dodge the punch and went flying back into the tree stalk and slumped down beside it. Jaken jumped back down into the dakrness.
"Shit. He has the advantage. He can watch all my moves from down there and react accordingly. I can't keep my eyes off for more then a second up here. It'll throw my balance off." Tamotsu thought a moment as he stood up and resumed moving. As he moved he tried to focus on the sounds around him but the ones he made distracted him. He tried harder and managed to catch rustling noises. "He's coming up!" Tamotsu stopped jumping as he heard the rustle and Jaken jumped up and looked as he saw no one ahead of him. Jaken laned on the branch
"Shikyaku no Jutsu!" Tamotsu said softly as he did the seals and took to all fours. His nails had become elongated and his canines became small fangs. Jaken turned around only in time to be caught off-gaurd by a wipe to the face by Tamotsu. Jaken fell to the ground and Tamotsu followed after him. Jaken rolled to recover instantly. Tamotsu rushed him again and threw a heavy haymaker to the face. Jaken took the hit and flew back. Tamotsu, on all fours, sped ahead and tried to catch Jaken off gaurd with another attack. He sild a hed of Jaken and did a spinning kick knocking him out of the air and breaking the transformation.
Jaken slid on the floor a bit as Tamotsu walked up to him panting hard. "We should take another break." Tamotsu said as Jaken stood up a bit weakly. Tamotsu smiled and sat down infront of the wolf. He dug into his pockets and pulled out some beef jerky. He have the wolf one and ate one himself. Jaken ate his rather rapidly and looked on as Tamotsu ate his with a little trouble. Jaken barked softly.
"Huh? What do you mean I think to much?" Tamotsu asked. Jaken barked again. "I guess I do it because I want to be prepared. I don't wanna be caught off gaurd. I don't know many Jutsus so I have to rely on what I have and plan around it. I guess while learning them, I become frustrated because I want to learn them and be right when I do it. When we go on a mission I can't afford to make mistakes. But I guess I do think to much." Tamotsu smiled as he ate and gave Jaken another peice of jerky.

Tamotsu had finished his jerky and stood up. He took a yawn and rested a bit. After his rest, he stood up and looked at the small lake of the area they were in. He walked over on to it and sighed. He managed to stay afloat and stretched out a moment. He took to running laps around the lake. He timed himself as he took every lap. The first 3 or so were slow. But his legs began to build up strength and he found himself going faster with each passing lap. He completed about 15 laps before stopping.
Not wanting to fustrate his legs further he took to using Shikyaku no Jutsu to get on all fours and ran around as best he could on the water. His initial tries began with unbalance as he fell in a few times. Not wanting to be stress himself he tried to find a balance before continuing. He found his balance on his first lap across the water. Being on all fours helped him control how much energy he was roviding his legs and his speed increased sligtly. He sped around on the lake a few more laps before returning to land and rested a bit.
After his second rest he took to practing his transformations. He did the seals and then said "Henge!". He poofed and had transformed into a small boy. He recalled the jutsu and did it again. He poofed and transformed into an elderly woman. He recalled it again and transformed into a random Shinobi he had remembered. As he continued to transform, Jaken watched him intently. He broke the Jutsu and transformed again into an older gentleman. He sighed and broke off the jutsu. "I guess it's time to go vertical." He said as he yawned as he walked around for a bit.
After a while he had found himself at a rather large cliff. He nodded looked a Jaken who had followed closely behind him. "Okay. I wanna test dodging projectiles. I'm going to transform you into me and then i'm gonna climb this wall. You're gonna throw some rocks at me. I'll do my best to dodge them. Okay?" Tamotsu said as Jaken barked and stood on his hind leg placing his paws on Tamotsu. Tamotsu did familiar hand seals and did the Jujin Bushin with Jaken in tandem. The clones Jaken gabbed some rocks and looked at Tamotsu who walked up to the cliff.
Tamotsu placed his foot on the wall the wall and it took to it. "Just like tree climbing." He said as he walked up the cliffside slowly. Jaken watched as Tamotsu walked up half way before waving his hand to give him the ready signal. Jaken nodded and began throwing rocks at Tamotsu who turned around and began side stepping rocks that beamed past him. Tamotsu began sprinting left to right as Jaken contined to throw rocks with force at him. Jaken threw on rock and managed to hit Tamotsu in the arm.
The momentary pain caused him to slip and fall. With his free hand, he caught a small crevice in the cliff face annd held himself there. "Keep throwning!" He commanded as a rock pummeled him in the back. He focused to collect chakra a rock hit his leg. He yelled in pain and placed his foot on the wall. It took hold and he fell back somewhat but held himself. He was now back on the cliff face. As he stood around a rock hit him in the head. He grunted in pain and ran again to avoid the rocks.
Jaken continued to launch the rocks at Tamotsu who bagn getting crafty. He began to use the semi-free gravity to bend back when a rock came to close to hitting him. Tamotus ran up the cliff face as Jaken threw some rock, barely missing him. When Tamotsu reached the top he turned around and rand back down. Jaken picked up some more rocks and threw them at him. Tamotsu sidestepped and dodged as best he could. Jaken threw one right fo his face. Tamotsu rached out and caught and threw it at another rock Jaken had thrown it. He had deflected the rock and jumped off the cliff face and landed on a knee. He panted a bit and looked at Jaken.
"This is training. Not try to kill me." Tamotsu grumbled as Jaken poofed back to normal. Tamotsu rested on the floor as Jaken walked up to him and licked him in the face. Tamotsu laughed and pet the wolf. "I wonder if we're getting stronger then we were before." Tamotsu said as he stared up at the sky.

Tamotsu let out a yawn of frustation. He had become tired from the day's training and he felt it coming to a quick end soon. He stretched out a bit to loosen up his body a bit for the next step of his training. He did some jumping jacks while Jaken rested. He did about a hundred and considered it enough for that. He did some calf stretches to release the tension in his legs from all the running. He damn near strained them when he had been dodging rocks with Jaken on the cliff face not so long ago.
"Okay. The next part of the training will be a bit more different. We'll do rush fighting. I'll use Shikyaku no Jutsu and then Jujin Bushin and make us slightly faster and stronger. That way we can spar a bit more stronger and faster. We'll take it out onto the lake and practice out there. That way me and you have some practice on water-based battling." Tamotsu smiled a bit and sighed. Jaken walked up to him and stood on his hind legs and placed his paws on him. "Jujin Bushin." Tamotsu said as Jaken barked. The poof went off. Jaken had transformed into a perfect copy again.
The two walked out onto the lake, using chakra to keep them afloat. Jaken, however, was having a bit of trouble. "Haha. Keep yourself above water. Ready?" Tamotsu said as he took his stance and Jaken prepared himself. "Go!" Jaken rushed Tamotsu head on and began trying to claw at his face repeatedly. Tamotsu dodged a bit expertly as he began to read Jaken's moves. "He's definately gotten faster. But with my body. I move almost too loosely the way Jaken is howing me... I have to learn to control my muscle mass for optimum output damage. This way I can strike hard the first time around with out using Chakra." Tamotsu thought as he dodged each strike.
Jaken then fell down into the water below. "Jaken!? Buddy?!" Tamotsu said as he looked down into the water. He couldn't see anything. His eyes examined the water hard. Then out of nowhere a fist smashed into Tamotsu's face from just below him. Tamotsu flew back on the water's surface and literally skidded across the surface until he caught himself and rolled back upright. Before Tamotsu could regain himself, he found himself on the offensive again as Jaken rushed him again and began throwing heavy punches. Tamotsu got hit and poofed away. Jaken looked on as a log fell to the water below. As it hit, Tamotsu fell from the sky and punched Jaken with a heavy force down into the water. A giagantic splash of water erupted into the sky.
Tamotsu stood breathing hard on the water's surface. "Where is he? He should have surfaced by now if he was focused." Tamotsu said as a pair of arms grabbed his legs and pulled him down. "Shit!" Tamotsu sank quickly into the water as Jaken was still transformed. Jaken upercutted Tamotsu hard back up above the surface. Jaken jumped up after him but soon after Tamotsu poofed away. Jaken looked down as Tamotsu was standing on the water and smiled. "You are so going down now. Bad boy!" He yelled ouy as Jaken fell back down to the waters surface.
"Shikyaku no Jutsu!" Tamotsu said as poof went off. Tamotsu had the feral look he had earlier in the training. Jaken looked on shocked as Tamotsu rushed him head on and began swiping at him with his small claws. Jaken blocked as best he could but couldn't match the jutsu's speed boost and strength boost. "I finally caught on, my movements when blocking are too lienient. And because when I examin thingd, I don't examing 360. Which means I get caugh off guard at anytime. So in the future I have to do quick and thorough inspections at all angles." Tamotsu thought as he kept at the attack.
"Got it..." Tamotsu jumped back away from Jaken and then jumped back with a punch. "...NOW!" He landed a successful hit on Jaken who flew back towards the shore and rolled a bit before poofing away and going back to his wolf form. "Jeez, over did it!" Tamotsu said as he ran on all fours, still subjected to the Shikyaku jutsu, to Jaken and looked at the wolf who stood up weakly. "You okay buddy?" Tamotsu asked as Jaken barked and fell asleep. "Stupid wolf. Always sleeping." Tamotsus smiled
