Katoshi wandered through the ice cold mist, on the outskirts of Kirigakure no Sato. He has now retaped his face, and his zanbato had been replaced on his back. His steps were beginning to become less hastened, as he was now engulfed by large trees. A small lake was to his far left, as he gestured to his student to stand beside him. With a light bellow, Katoshi said, "Here we are Rin...time for you to learn, again." Pointing to a tree, Katoshi whipped his head around, as he took off abruptly towards the wide trunk. His feet gripped the rough bark, as he scaled the tree. As he reached the middle of the tree, he released himself from the trunk, swinging on one of the large branches. From above Katoshi yelled down, [b]"Concentrate your chakra to your feet...but not to hard or your feet will push in the bark. But not to soft...or the tree will release you. Katoshi pulled himself upon the branch, as he rested his face on his palm, and continued to look down apon Rin.

Rin walked aside her master, slightly older and wiser than she had been when she had first been taken in by Master Katoshi, and also another facet of her had recently begun to flourish, her beauty. Her long, flowing hair of icy-blue hue was tied back into a ponytail to keep it out of her eyes as she finally came up to the tree. she examined Master Katoshi when he wal;ked up the tree and nodded. This seemed an easy-enough task, however Rin knew that even the easiest tasks could prove difficult on any day, and took a moment to stretch her limbs tenderly before returning her gaze to the tree.

She quiockly grasped at her right hand, removing thegloves which had been cut away at the mid-point of the finger, and then repeated the action with her left hand, then began the training, gaining a steady flow of chakra. She quickly began to even the chakra onto the soles of her Zora sandals, concentrating as it only took a few moments to build and sustain the chakra, then stepped towards the tree as she decided it was time to try and see if she could complete the jutsu.

Rin, having built the chakra on her soles, ran directly up the tree as she had seen her master done, however something was wrong, as she didn't get far at all before she began to slip, and though she fought to remain on the tree, she fell onto her back, recoiling into a backwards roll. Rin rubbed her head and examined the tree, instantly knowing that she had used far too little chakra, and made the decision to try it once more, hoping to get the jutsu right this time instead of the failure of the last attempt.

Once she knew she was ready, she felt a small grin forming along her lips, which was unusual of her, and then instantly broke into a dash as she continued to sustain her chakra with each step. This time, she climbed higher, however she audibly gasped as she learned she was slipping from the tree. rin fought for ground and got three meters up, however she fell back, and just as she was about to fall onto her back again, she lunged up with her last foot still adheiring to the tree, her nimble body soaring into a low-lying branch. She sighed a moment, then lunged back down onto the ground.

Landing on the ground, Rin noted that she almost had it that time, however things hadn't quite gone as planned. This time, she was even more determined to climb the tree, and so leap from her crouched state back up to her feet. She growled audibly, though just barely, and began applying the chakra to her souls evenly, using as much chakra as she could sustain, her eyes fiercely glancing to the tree. She took a single step forwards as the naruto theme played in the background, and took to a run as she ran towards the tree...but tripped over herself.

Almost growling, however managing a smile, Rin steadied herself back to her feet with a simple hop and quickly glanced herself over to assure herself that she wasn't wounded too badly, then turned her glance towards the tree, managing to break into another lunging run, her hakra focused along the soles of her shoes, sweat falling down her countenance as she took the first step upwrads, scaling the tree, and everything seemed fine. everything was not fine, however as soon after her third step she began to sink deeper into the tree with every step until she was in it to her knees, and she stood there for a moment, trying to free her legs by moving them into a circular pattern to gather momentum, then broke from the tee into a jump.

Rin glid through the air with grace surpassing that of even a ballerina, her body sailing through the air as she slid head-first towards the ground. She noticed the ground rushing to meet her, and knew she would be in trouble if she could not repair her trajectory, and so she managed to gain a bit of leverage by lancing her foot out and pressing it against a limb, twirling her body into a quick spin that repositioned her feet-first, however barely in time as she landed with a thudded impact, sliding a few centimeters before dusting herself off and prepared herself to try one more time, to be successful this one time.

She was even more determined than before, her eyes glancing up to Master Katoshi before clenching her hands together tightly into balled fists, spreading her chakra evenly between both feet, this time taking much more care than before, controlling her chakra into a formula that was just right for scaling the tree, the substance oozing from the soles of her shoes. She yelled a message to her master, smiling in her usual demeanor as she spoke. "Prepare yourself, Master Katoshi, I'll soon be up there by your side, I promise it!!"

Rin took off into a full-flight run towards the tree, het body moving at speeds not even dreamed by the average Genin, nor anyone of her age, then continued to pump her own chakra into the soles of her shoes just right as she continued running, eventually coming to the tree. She ran up the tree, and everything as it should be, atleast as far as she knew. she had scaled the tree half-way now, her mind not even on the fact that she was running up a tree.
