Zieg had remained in his mansion after making sure everything was ok within the village. A few memory stones and homes were destroyed, as too buildings. The invasion had done more damage than he thought, though it was nothing in comparrasin to to Konoha event. There had been some true destruction rained down upon at that point. It was time for the village to recouperate. Many of the surviving ninjas had already started missions to regain some money for the villae and several others stayed around, helping rebuild. As for Zieg he watched from afar.

A few weeks had passed and everything seemed peaceful. The village was starting to once again prospher and become its grace. Many genin shinobi were safe to train on the outskirts of the village once again and many shinobi were no longer tense. The same could be said for the hard working Zieg. Making sure his home stayed safe he had negotiated with several smaller countries he had once beckoned and now he resides back home where it is safe as usual.

After the invasion so many weeks ago he remained mostly hidden away within his mansion, training himself and becoming stronger than he ever was. He remained in his usual training facility underground. Most of his battle tactics unfolded there. After the hard training he had gathered his cloths and returned to the center hall of the mansion. He walked through the yellow walls with the snake isignias on them and he laid casted away in his office.

He remained at his desk and filled out the various paperwork that was being brought in by his shinobi assistants. Now the village was being run by a true leader and not one bent on destruction. Zieg had remained silent the long while as he filled out what he needed. Eventually his time would come for when he would be recognized as the world's greatest shinobi. Until then he needed to train himself.

As she walked through the village Reileyn looked at the Otokages mansion, "Brother..." She sighed as she walked forward towards the mansion. It was gonna be tough but she needed to see him in person. SHe no ticed a shinobi came towars, "Miss you can not go in there." She scoffed and looked at the shinobi, "Excuse me but I am the kage's sister." She stated glaring at the man. She would get past him. No need to worry about that. As the man gasped he sighed, "LAdy Reileyn? We thought you were dead." He stated moving aside, "Well as you can see I am not dead." SHe stated as she walked inside the mansion.

Looking around the mansion she was wondering how it seemed so different to her. But it felt good to be home once again. She looked around and walked towards her room and saw that everything was still intact. That made her happy, but she wouldn't be truly happy until she saw her brother's face again. She took the ring out of her pocket and placed it under the floor boards. So that way her brother wouldn't know. She walked towards his office where she was stopped once again.

Zieg had continued doing his paperwork till he finished. Finally after gathering all the information and detailing he decided to rest his mind though that was impossible for the red headed genius. He could never stop thinking. Even in his sleep he dreamed thoughts.

He had stood from his seat when he had felt a prescence near. He looked up to see his sister standing at the door. His facial expression remained the same. "Interesting. You came back alive. Kiyo told me that Ryu had kidnapped you and taken you to his hideout. I prevented him from following further to prevent further war. You seem to be unscratched and out of harms way. How did you make it back to sound unaccompanied?"

Zieg had already known that Ryu was Eric from what Kiyo had told him. It was a very masterful ploy but unfortunately Kiyo's information gathering abilities were unmatched. Zieg wondered what was to become of the two lovers. He waited for an answer.

REileyn looked at her redhead brother, "Well, I told Ryu to let me go or kill me. He reveiled himself as Eric Hatake. He said he would rather let me go then kill me." SHe stated leaving the wedding out. She didn't want to know what her brother would do if he found out if she married him. She looked at her brother, "I was being followed but for some reason when I arrived back in Sound they left." SHe looked at her brother wondering if he was happy to see her home again.

Zieg listened to her speak. He was happy to know Kiyo's information was indeed correct. Eric was still alive and he played as Ryu. He couldn't help himself but to chuckle a bit. "I should have killed the fool when I had the chance." He said as he placed his hand on his face and grinned.

Gaining his composure back he looked to Reileyn. He moved his hand back down and looked into her eyes. He stared for a while in silence. It had hit the room like a silent thunder. Finally he closed his eyes and walked around his desk. He appeared to have walked past her but he stopped on the side of her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Well if thats all you have to tell me then fine. I have decided young sibling that I can't continue to make you do as I wish. You are a person as am I. I can't loom over you all the time but you can't cling to me so much. People who are too dependent are weak and they are easily killed. I have choosen not to rely on anyone but myself and I intend to keep it that way. Whatever path you chose you chose for yourself...."

He sounded as if he wanted to continue but he just broke in silence again. He moved his hand from her shoulder and started heading out of his office through the halls. He knew she was hiding something from him. Seeing as how Eric revealed himself to her and they weren't within earshot of the Otokage something happened that would probably be best unknown to him. He decided to leave the matters wt which they were. If Eric was ever to enter the village again he would be killed on sight. As for the other assasin.

Reileyn watched her brother as he talked to her, "But brother..what about my training? I thought I was to train to be a chuunin. You are my sensei, Zieg." She stated looking at her brother. She looked at him and sighed. She knew a lot of what he said was true. For now she just wanted to love and support of her brother. When he was done talking she decided to hug him. She had missed him and was glad he was all right, "I'm glad you are all right nii-san." She stated as she hugged him. Being the only family she had left

Zieg had stopped walking as he was hugged by his sister. His arms remained to his side for a short while. He simply stared into the distance. He sighed a bit and lifted his arms to lightly hug her back. Finally releasing her he turned his back on her and started on his way once more. He had stopped at the thought of somethign trmendous. "What happened to Eric? Why did he not follow? Surely something happened. He would not have allowed you to come back on your own. I am feeling uneasy. No matter. When you are ready to tell me you will find me. Good day."

He waved and started walking off. For the first time in a long while he did feel uneasy. It was all too strange. Eric was not one to let go of something so easily. It bothered him. Did Eric plan some sort of assasination? Was he using Reileyn? Could she have betrayed Zieg once more? All these questions came to mind. Zieg's calm and relaxed mind had once again been filled with endless thoughts.

Reileyn looked at her brother as he walked away. Listening to what he said about wondering what happened to Eric, "Brother...I will tell you soon." She stated. She exited her brother's office and went to her room and sat on her bed. She put her looked at the one wound she did have and sighed, "I better clean this up before Nii-san or Kamira notice." She stated. SHe grabbed some of the meds she had in her room and worked on the wound on her upper right arm. She winced in pain a little as she poured some antiseptic over it. It burned a little. She wrapped a bandage around it and pulled her sleeve back over it.

Zieg had retired to the top of the mansion as he left. He stood high on the roof and looked over his village as he did. He looked much like a leader should. From his view point everything was going smoothly. However being on the roof wasn't what it seemed. He didn't go to the roof to check on the village but it was his favorite spot to clear his thoughts. His mind had been distyurbed once more and when that happened he made irrashonal descisions. Either way he looked around.

Everything was peaceful as before. He felt like something was out of place in the village. Like something that wasn't suppose to be there was lurking in the corner of his eye. He felt uneasy. The fact that he felt uneasy made him a bit paranoid but regardless he had to maintain composure.

What really worried Zieg was Eric's stay. Usually he would follow Reileyn to the village to try and recapture her but he didn't see him anywhere. It was odd. "Kiyo, come out." Kiyo appeared near Zieg, bowing his head. "Yes lord?"

"I want you to keep a close eye on Reileyn. Your ears, your eyes, your mind. All is to be given 50% to Reileyn. I want to know what shes doing at all times. If Eric is using her in some way then we will be in a temporary position of desperation. She doesn't do as much as talk to herself without your knowledge, understand?"

"Yes lord Zieg." Kiyo then disappeared from his current position. Zieg knew his best ninja was keeping tabs on things around the village but he still felt uneasy. It was a feeling that wouldn't shake him till things were done.

Reileyn was sitting in her room. She couldn't hide it from her brother anymore. But she felt as though she was being watched. She went to the hidden spot in the floor and took out the wedding ring. "You can come out Kiyo. I need to confess something." She stated holding the ring in her right palm. It was th e only way she could return home. But how did she undo the marriage. She knew that her brother would do something horrible to her. But she was ready for the consequences that she had to face.
