OOC: your description of a gauss is incorrect, it fires a large balistic round(not energy) using magnets to propell it at increadible speeds and it is explosive, it is an actual weapon that already exists in real life(i think).

Zack nodded and sent a conformation code over the com. channel. He fired off the last rounds of his chain gun and threw it into an enemy soldier, knocking them off thier feet. He retrieved his beam sword and immediatly turned it on before charging forward into the chaos, cutting down every enemy in his path. He pulled three high-yield grenades from his belt and quickly stuck them togather . With all of his strength, plus that of the powersuit, he lobbed the three grenades at the turret, aiming for the power conduits.
He continued forward, cutting clean through one of the enemy soldiers, and shoving the seperate pieces out of his way. a U.O.S. fighter fell through the sky, smoke trailing behind it. It slamed into the ground directly infront of the enemy stronghold, throwing countless soldiers with the impact and blowing a hole into the building.
Moments later, the grenades went off, with the smoke of the downed ship obscuring his view, he couldnt see if they hit thier mark or not, He quickly dove behind the wreckage, waiting for a report from lothar. _________________

The steel hounds charge was successful and the enemy base was quickly captured by the group of soldiers. even in thier success, the battle continued as it normaly did, the U.O.S. decimating the cardinal military in air combat, but taking heavy losses on the ground. after about two hours of fighting in this manor, the U.O.S. called a full retreat and the Cardinal Military claimed victory, no matter how insignificant. The surviving U.O.S. soldiers departed in high-speed transports to another front on the planet where another Cardinal Military force was approaching. _________________
