Seiko laughed and then nodded. He walked out of the room and then out of the building. He assumed his lover had been following him and began to spoke. "I had to train someone to use demonic chakra. Apparently he can find those who can host demonic chakra in their system. What's worse is that that crazy demon of his is more powerful then we thought. It was so fast he managed to stab me in the chest before I could comprehend it. I'm scared his power might end up calling him into the dark power and eventually revive the Dragon." Seiko said worried as they arrived at the restaurant. "Table for two please."

The waiter nodded and both men were immediately seated, being the Tsuchikage had its perks it seems. What Seiko had told Yasuo was disturbing, his mind was cast back to the chuunin exams, the destruction wrought by the demon and the many deaths because of it. The sage bit his lip, he did not know that there were others besides Tamotsu who had demonic chakra and could control it, it was insane to think that there were people out there with that power, but then, he shouldn't be surprised after all, the power of Ryujin was sealed inside his own body.
Yasuo his head on one hand and massaged his temples with thumb and middle-finger. "I see" He said slowly "I think perhaps now is the time I should tell you why I left Iwagakure" The volume of the conversation now dropped "Leo came to me Seiko, he told me of an impending disaster, he has some form of precognitave power, I don't quite understand it. He warned me that if I did not go with him then I would die in the face of this disaster, along with my village." The kage stopped and took a slow, steady breath "We journeyed to the land of dragons, where the first ever dragon, god of his kind, still remained." Yasuo lifted a hand steadily to his chest "Ryujin and all his strength is sealed within me Seiko, I think-" He stopped suddenly as the waiter approached the table.
"What would you like to order sirs?" He asked in a polite manner, Yasuo sighed, he hadn't really looked at the menu so went for a safe bet.
"Pork and rice please."

"Let me guess, you left me for..." Before he could finish the waiter returned and then spoke about their orders. He rolled his eyes and then looked at him. "I'll take some rice and pork chops." He said coldly as the waiter left quickly. Seiko then looked at the table and stabbed the fork into it. "It's one thing for you to leave me and think something bad but to leave me for more power!? Do you think that maybe I thought you were dead and that it killed me inside?" Seiko said whispering with anger. He grabbed the fork from the table and then looked down. "Of all the people, I never thought you'd leave me for more power. Wasn't the one I gave you enough?" He said almost tearfully.

Yasuo looked to Seiko as he spoke and physically expressed his anger, the kage did not flinch or start, in truth he had expected something like this to happen, though it still pained him to see. Yasuo looked to his lover with sadness and pain on his face "I'm sorry Seiko but I had little choice, I didn't want this, but if I had opted out, I would be dead, you'd be dead, the entire village would have been wiped from existence." Yasuo looked down "I couldn't let that happen..." He said quietly, deliberately "No matter what I couldn't run the risk of letting any more of the people I love die" His teary eyes now met with Seiko's and he stretched his hand accross the table, grasping Seiko's firmly in his own "You're all I have left Seiko...I'd do anything to protect you"

Seiko looked at Yasuo and could hear the same conviction that Tamotsu used when he left for more power. He sighed a moment and then looked to his lover. "Okay." He then watched as the waiter brought them their food. He took his plate and ate silently for a second. As he did, he savored the food that was made for him. But there was something he wanted more. To see the look in his lover's eyes when he says what he's about to say. "I love you." He said as he continued to eat, his eyes continued to stay on his lover's. ~If you say it and the spark isn't there... I'm going to leave.~ He thought to himself.

As Seiko seemed to accept Yasuo's reasoning the kage still did not relax, there was a strange clenching feeling in his stomach. He looked down to the food before him but felt no want to eat it, Yasuo watched his lover slowly eat his food with silence, he didn't know what to say to the blonde, but he didn't have to say anything. Seiko spoke first and as his words passed through the Tsuchikage's ears the clenching feeling in his stomach lessened, even now years into their relationship Yasuo still felt butterflies whenever he heard the jounin declare his love. A smile flowed to the sage's face and his slightly bloodshot eyes now looked out of place, though they glimmered with love. Yasuo got out of his seat and moved round the table to Seiko's side, he crouched down and kissed him softly "I love you so much Seiko" He spoke tenderly and ran his fingers through the jounin's hair.

Seiko could see the look in Yasuo's eyes. The same look he had 3 years ago when he met the ninja. He simply stopped eating and then pulled Yasuo to him and kissed him. He kissed him passionately and then continued to get up and walk over to him and then lift him up. "Put this on the Kage's tab." He said as he took Yasuo out the restaurant and back toward's Seiko's Iwagakure house. When they entered, he tossed Yasuo on the couch and then pounced him. "Everytime I see that sparkle in your eyes it makes me want to be with you so much more. I want you forever." He cuddled.

Yasuo was taken by surprise when Seiko lifted him and marched out of the restaurant with the younger ninja held tightly in his arms, it had been years since he had been carried like this and now suddenly, twice in one day. Yasuo laughed as he was thrown onto the sofa and then grinned as the jounin joined him, cuddling close to him and whispering to his ear. The Tsuchikage closed his eyes as Seiko spoke to him and smiled when he finished "With every passing day..." He whispered, holding the bonde under the chin and looking him straight in the eyes "...My love for you grows, and it will keep growing, we will be together forever Seiko" He finished and took the jounin in a passionate kiss and maneuvered his legs over Seiko's so he sat atop him. Yasuo smiled again.
Throughout the rest of the night the two ninja expressed their love for each other with vigour, after all, it had been a while. When the morning sun shone over the village and passed into the bedroom, Yasuo found himself in the arms of his lover, he rolled over to face Seiko and smiled. The jounin was still asleep, his face full of innocence, it made the kage happy to watch Seiko in such a tranquil state. He steadily crept from the bed and dressed himself, taking care not to wake the blonde. Grabbing a spare sheet of paper and writing utensils the sage made a not for his lover and left it on the pillow next to Seiko, he kissed Seiko on the forehead and left quietly.

You always oversleep, don't you?
I have to go take care of some business regarding the village
I'll be back tonight
I love you.
