Taiki looked around at the fog it had indeed gotten quite thick and it would impede their progress further he looked around for ne place they could rest until it passed nd noticed a small clutch of trees they seemed to twirls upwards around each other creating a sort of rooft tha they could sleep under that night. Taiki beckoned Gedo over and began making a fire. Once that was done he unrolled his sleeping bag knowing he would not need his tent at the moment because of the natrual roftop the trees had made. After his placement was set up he placed a small cooking pot over the fire and place meat and a square of salt into the pot and added water he put a couple of vegatables in it and added a creamer so the stew could take on a more soupy flavor and sat down and stirred the food.

"So Gedo tell me about yourself as we have been walking i found i barely know anything about you and i think it would be bad as partners for us to know so little about each other. though i did tell you quite a bit about myself." Taiki asked Gedo as he continued to stir the now heating food that they would be eating
The smell was just starting to waft into the cover and it made Taikis mouth water slightly. He hoped Gedo would be content with the meal as Taiki had not cooked very often but was told that his food was quite good for feild food.

Gedo walked with him to the trees and then sat by the fire. He watched the other ninja prepare a meal for them and he smiled if only to be polite. He then looked to the sky as he was asked a hard question about he who was. He closed his eyes and then thought back in his memories the best way to answer. What the tone of his voice sounded like? A child confused and lost. "As a kid, I was told I had special powers that most ninja shunned and turned away from. We were called demons and told to avoid the village as much as possible. I grew up being home schooled and having no friends. Because I couldn't get along with a team, I was left out of being a ninja for a long time. So I trained my skills with ice as best I can."

Taiki check the dish while looking at Gedo intently listening to his story. It would seem
Gedo had lived a life of turmoil for quite seemingly most of his entire life. Again Taiki felt quite sad learning this and frowned as Gedo Told his about his life. It would seem that Through all of this Gedo seemed quite deppressed and Taiki wondered what and if could something change they way he looked at life seeikng as Everything in
Gedos life seemed to be nothing but heart ache. Taiki sighed and looked down he couldnt think of anything he had already tried to cheer up poor Gedo. As he checked the food one last time he saw it was ready and reached out for Gedos bowl to give him it.

"Pass your bowl here. Taiki said while reaching over with his open hand. Gedo i know things must seem grim because of everything that has happened to you but you must know that thinngs will change. For that is why i have decided to take this journey so i could become a stronger and better person im sure if we continue to stay together we will eventually change and see life at a different perspective then we have of recently. and im here to help you along on your path to recovery as well" Taiki said while he filled Gedos bowl up with food. As usual he smiled at Gedo to try to cheer him up and show him he was among a friend and had no reason to be further depressed.

Gedo had passed his food bowl when asked and watched it be filled by Taiki. It was something that made Gedo seem weak in this moment when he was told that he may think seem grim. In truth all he could think about was how his life may never change even is he could be happy. His father was an insane lunatic who took pride in abusing him. It's something Gedo wanted to escape but couldn't. He took his bowl and thanked Taiki for it and began eating silently. As he did, the clouds began to break apart as someone walked through them.

"I've been searching for you, Gedo." The man said as Gedo dropped his food bowl and looked at his father.

Taiki quickly jumpd to his feet as a stranger walked next to their shelter and announced he had been looking for Gedo. Taiki glanced at the man then back to Gedo Not knowing if this was a friend or foe. He looked at Gedo who seemed quite starttled and saw a look of discontent. Taiki Looked back at the man knowing now he was an enemy.

"What do you want stranger we mean you no harm so we ask for none in return please if you want to eat sit with us and eat but do not come into this shelter if you mean to harm anyone." Taiki said confidently he had hoped this person would be swayed from causing any trouble to them. As he watched the person he heard the food begin to simmer he would have to take it off soon or it might over cook.

The man looked at the ninja who spoke out of turn and he waved his hand aside and made the thick clouds part and reveal the night sky above them. He then looked at Gedo who was shaking and grabbed the ninja by his neck and lifted him. "I made it clear you weren't allowed to associate with other ninjas nor use your abilities. I saw the ice crystals in the sand not to far. You're a shame as a son." He said as he held his hand right at Gedo's face and a blast of wind shot him into the fire that was cooking the food, putting it out but making Gedo crash into the pot. The hot food burned his hand and he screamed in pain.

"Who is this person protecting you?" His father asked.

Taiki had been to slow for the intial attack but he would not allow a second while he still lived . He sprang forward and quickly removed Gedo from the fire and Popped out a lance from his left hand keeping it pointed at Gedos fathers direction while he moved gedo to the opposite side of himself. He wanted to be sure he was able to keep Gedos father at bay as best he could

"I am Kaguya Taiki . Of the Kaguya clan. And this is my firend you have dared to hurt i suggest you leave now before my anger consumes my rational thought and i and pushed to hurt you. Youll not be harming my friend any further. Tha much is clear, At least not while im alive. you should not cast aside your sons talent simply because you yourrself are scared of what he can be nor deny him interations with other humans. For what is he other than a slave to your sick abuse. Ive heard enough about you to know your not a good person. But Gedo is still a good person even through all hes had to go through. Isnt it enough to have harmed him all this time but now you feel the need to hunt him down further? Taiki growled angrily as he glared at Gedos father through his hair . He was extemly furious at the sight of someone much stronger abusing a person they saw to be weak when in fact Gedo was ot weak and It would seem his father the weak one.

Gedo saw how Taiki went to his defense and stood against his father to protect him. His heart began beating as his hand throbbed with pain. He looked away ashamed that someone else would fight his battle. He couldn't perform jutsu without both hands. His right hand was incapacitated. Gedo's father looked at Taiki and then rolled his eyes. "You disgust me." He said looking at Gedo. "You're exactly like everyone said you are. A demon. A deviant and a monster. Ice Demons should be killed. Like your grandfather." Gedo's father spoke.

Gedo's eyes lit up sadly.

"Be with your new protector and make him your new home. Do not return to Kirigakure or I will kill you. You're no longer my son, but my enemy." The man said as he walked off and the clouds returned.

"I.... have no.... home?" Gedo asked confused and shake.

Taiki watched the Man go not changing his stance until he was sure he had left for good He retracted the lance back into his plam feeling his bones shift about and eventually settled he sighed and righted himself and looked over to Gedo who was staring intoo space. Taiki was sure the encounter with Gedos fathermust have been quite tramatic his father had openly disowned Gedo and even said he would kill him. Taik was saddened and approched Gedo and Gave him a Hug he didnt know the words to say to cheer up Gedo but he figured a hug was worth a thousand words. He pulled back and looked at Gedos face to figure out what he was thinking but the look in Gedos eyes seemed to be lost but beautiful Taiki couldnt resist and he kissed Gedo Quickly for a few seconds then pulled away. He was confused and had no idea what he had just done or way her turned his head emmbarrassed and looked away I-Tm sorry i dont know what came over me Gedo." Taiki stammered unsure of what he had just done.

Gedo stared at the fading silhouette of his father in the clouds and felt a pain so great in his heart that he broke without speaking or moving. His heart froze for a second to be about as cold as the ice he could produce. He stared of into the distance despite the fact that Taiki has released his spear and then tried to comfort him albeit silently and without doing much. However, this soon changed and then he felt warm lips on his. Time seemed to slow and shine on them as Taiki kissed Gedo whose heart beat hard a few times until the kiss was released. It was only seconds that felt like minutes. His body shook softly and then Taiki spoke. Gedo looked away blushing unsure how to respond and simply asked. "Why.... did my heart stop beating?"
