Syra.... Are you ignoring the fact that this combines Gaara's abilities (for free no less), with an extremely overpowered ability to 'control magnetic fields.' Controlling metal has nothing at all to do with controlling sand, especially since the majority of sand doesn't even contain magnetic metals.

First of all, this wouldn't be approval worthy even if the fields were 1/10 of the range what they are now. SS ranks being able to destroy and entire village from 1200 metres away.... I really really don't think you even read this properly.

Please Explain in what way this could be possibly be seen as balanced. It has far too many advantages and tricks and no disadvantages what so ever. Hell it makes Uchiha look fair.

Right-o, should have checked those distances again. Drop them; maximum I want to see is 50 metres for SS rank.

EDIT: It does not allow the control of sand, it allows the control of iron sand (which is essentially metal filings of some sort) and they can use the same jutsu as Gaara used because the metal filings act the same as the sand. It is powerful, but he has it so only 3 people can join.

Though he is right, some sort of requirement is needed. Maybe you can't have any other elements besides lightning?

50 metres for minimum? Ehh...I'd be happy if it was 70-100, just thinking about how little distance it means lower ranked members will be able to use it in.

50 meters is quite a ways out! O.o From my converter, 50 meters equals to just over 164 ft., which, again, is quite far. I think that's far enough.
