Kuroda walked along the endless stretches of sea and sand. He had just met with his teacher, and coincidentally his brother, who had briefed him and left Kuroda to do as he pleased until the other team members were brought up to speed. In the mean time, Kuroda took a stroll along the vast beach, hoping at least to catch one of the weaker missing-nin who may have slipped through the cracks of the ANBU. Bored, frustrated, and unmotivated, Kuroda thought about what might happen if he was so lucky as to find a low rank missing nin. Much to his satisfaction, a fellow in tattered clothing with a scratched out head band between his shoulder and elbow, attempted to pull a row boat ashore.
Kuroda raised an eyebrow, he wasn't exactly sure about the person's true intentions until he noticed the glare of metal coming from his boat; alot of metal. Kuroda walked forward cautiously, "Maybe it was a refugee hoping to aid the Kirigakure," he thought, "Then again, that's highly unlikely." Moving his hand as subtly as he could, Kuroda called out, "Hey! need some help?" His tone was more sarcastic than inquisitive. The fellow pulling his boat inland looked over at Kuroda and frowned, showing a little bit of anger. The missing nin leaned into the boat and pulled out a Katana and charge at Kuroda. That very moment, Kuroda's heart dropped so far down it sat on the sand and said,"What a beautiful beach," and shot back up. Not really, but it may as well have done so.
With the hand Kuroda subtly moved, he grabbed a pair of kunai and threw them at his attacker's feet. This was an attempt to force his enemy to move his feet and loose balance becuase of the shity sand. This only caused his opponent to stop, slash, ans deflect the kunai before going back into a charge. The assailant was now uncomfortably close. Kuroda tried to work on his feet, by creating a basic bunshin, kick up some sand and try to pull of a sort of sneak attack from both sides. The outlaw quickly slashed the bunshin. Kuroda was almost close enough to stab his opponent, but his target caught on and slashed part of his left arm.
Kuroda was now at a further dis advantage, under armed and already injured. Kuroda grabbed a second kunai and charged in, hoping to catch his opponent of guard in a flurry of sparks and clashing steel. this held to be accurate, but the other way around, his aggressor seemed to have slashed part of Kuroda's abdomen. Kuroda fell to the ground and tried to catch his breath, his opponent seemed only to smirk as he drew near. Kuroda felt a fear like no other, never before had he felt this level of fear, he was usually safe at home. Unwilling to quit now, Kuroda waited for the missing nin to prepare to behead Kuroda. As the sword came down, Kuroda threw sand at the man's eyes, rolled out of the slash path, being scratched only on his other shoulder, kicked out the man's feet from under him and used his trump card, Raikyu. Preforming the hand signs as quick as he could he formed the lightning ball and threw it at the man. The person in question convulsed and screamed, feeling sorry for him, Kuroda ended the pain as best he could and finished the kill. _________________

"Weak....." Jeremey said as he walked up to the shinobi who had killed the missing nin. "That....was... weak." Jeremy laughed at the shinobi as he got closer. He had just got away from the two idiots that he had fought with and was in the mood to have quite a bit of fun. THe shinobi in front of him looked like a good target. "Hmm.... I wonder... is that the best you could possibly do? If it is.... I feel real sorry for you." He smiled under his helmet. He found this shinobi to be amusing. Jeremy decided he wasn't going to just kill him like everyone else....at least... not yet. _________________

Kuroda looked over to the armor-clad man with a bewildered look on his face. Kuroda wasn't sure about this man, what nation he was with, what his intentions were, or if he were even a human male. " I wonder... is that the best you could possibly do? If it is.... I feel real sorry for you." Kuroda thought for a moment, "Sorry? That's not what people usually say when there's a corpse at my feet." Intrigued, Kuroda said, "I'm not sure why it's this way, but everyone seems to forget what it's like to be weak and start picking on them." If there was one thing Kuroda loved to do, it was to deceive, have people think he was truly weak so they would over look the present potential. It was his favorite weapon due in part to his lack of raw skill. Still wondering about this trash talking suit of armor, Kuroda anxiously awaited his response. Considering the chance of attack Kuroda acted like he was reaching for a kunai, attempting to lure his enemy into a routine. _________________

Jeremy thought for a second. "Nope....you're wrong." He smiled while looking at the shinobi. "I never forgot when I was weak..... cause I never was. The great Burning Will ensured my power from birth and so I serve it justly. Hmm.... it's people like you who believe such nonsense. 'Weak' is nothing more than a word I use to describe others. It will never be applied to me. Ever." Jeremy smiled as he looked at the shinobi. "So tell me... what is your goal in your sad, sad life? What makes you tick?" Jeremy smiled as he stood there looking at the shinboi with a smile under his helmet. _________________

"Tick," Kuroda asked aloud in disbelief. Kuroda fully understood what the armor-clad fellow meant, but he didn't believe he was asking that question, much less feel like answering him. "What am I, a grandfather clock for you place in your foyer to show off your prestige? I'm sure I am not a clock, so I'm sure I'm allowed more freedom then a system of gears and pulleys. I tick becuase I choose to, I need no more reason than that. As for goals, I do not share them with strangers." Kuroda had goals and he had a reason to live, he just didn't care explaining himself to some random suit of armor fresh out of oblivion. In all truth, he sought just about anything he could get his hands on, chief among them was power. He lived becuase he thought it would be too boring not to exist, his goals were merely set to give himself the best entertainment he could derive from life. Getting back to reality, Kuroda was far from willing to make the first move, he was already fighting an up hill battle and didn't need to charge to his death just yet. Kuroda was hoping to do something that would trick his opponent into making the first move, assuming he was going to attack at all. _________________

Jeremy laughed with a sense of glee. "You truely are a fool." He paused for a second. "A clock....what nonsense....... you... you're not even worth the life that the Great Burning has given you.... You hide behind these foolish words and games. You deserve.... to burn.....hmm.... so tell me.... do you think you should burn? Should I burn you into a crisp just for being annoying? I'm sure that I can just kill you and be done with whole bit but, I think I will let you..... squirm...." He smiled and wondered if the man woulld understand. Jerey stood tall and waited for the opponent to say something. _________________

"Burn," Kuroda asked rhetorically, "Of course, you are refuring to fire, am I right? Well there's a funny fact about fire. It creates light, but also makes the shadows grow. Burn me if you will, but you never know what is hiding in the shadows you create." Kuroda chuckled a little, "You want to see me squirm? OK, I'll do you that favor, but don't get mad if i get loose and bite you."
Kuroda, almost immediately after finishing his statement, grabbed a Kunai and threw it at his apparent judge. If his enemy wouldn't attack on his own, he would have to be encouraged. After this attack he would have to be quick on his feet, he couldn't attack his enemy head on that was suicide. Instead he would have to take the roll of a guerrilla, attacking and running to get a better position. Following this doctrine, Kuroda ran at his opponent, low enough to the ground to call in the help of the sand when necessary.
